I think 90% of this thread voted for Gavin

I am shocked and appalled Aggs I thought it was a requirement for posting on DS especially this year.

I thought people were attending internet colleges where qualifications were handed out in nanoseconds.

What have you been doing?

Arealorimaginedmedicaldegree isn't necessary, doncha know? If your mate's brother's wife's mother's cousin's friend had a hysterectomy/ocd/cholecystectomy/sprained ankle, this makes you an expert in oncology, post operative wound management, all mental health problems, orthopaedics and respiratory medicine.

I voted for Gavin, and Matt di Angelo spent far longer dancing in hold when he had his 'strop' than Ore did in his tango!

I loathed Gavin with every ounce of my being, I sure like to buck the trend here

Loving the levity of the thread today

I must be in the other 10%. I have only voted in four series - Ramps, Gethin, Jay and Danny.

I couldn't stand (and still can't stand) Gethin. Undoing a couple of shirt buttons and sliding across a floor does not make a Ken doll personality vacuum into a sex god.

I voted for Cherie even though it meant that by default I was voting for the Jordan.

As a woman of simple, shallow tastes I would absolutely, definitely still give Gleb a thorough going over given half a chance ( and Artem and Aljaz and Gorka ).

I couldn't bear Gethin or Tom Chambers, and Matt Baker gave me the complete boak.

Jake Wood gave me the creeps and his snake hips left me both unmoved and nauseated.

I liked Zoe when she danced with Ian, but I can't bear either of them on ITT.

Although I freely admit that I have no medical qualifications to speak of, I have assembled a fair amount of flat pack furniture in my time, so it is with reasonable confidence that I can state that Darren Gough was ****ing appalling and an even less worthy winner than Chris Hollins.

Never got Matt Baker or Gethin. Was only Tom that gave Vibroknickers any appeal and it was Jody who made Ian more appealing for me. Camilla, Karen & Ian all seemed to have overly exaggerated facial expressions which make Rob Rinder look positively restrained in comparison.

I can however remove recalcitrant transit bolts and successfully install washing machines and dishwashers.

I nearly posted in one of the Clowdia threads about the preponderance of hypermobility syndrome in gymnasts and how the flat-footedness that goes hand in hand (no pun intended) with it might have affected her footwork in the faster Latins especially that terrible jive, and halfway through I deleted the post thinking "I'm just making myself fodder for the NAT at this point".

Wise

Though it does mean that people who do have something to contribute are drowned out.

Higher heels really do help reduce pronation. So may be why she stuck with heels for the jive.

Joining in the Gavin Henson dislike, loved Katya, couldn't stand him at all and my opinion didn't change although I can see their relationship was amusing.

Don't/didn't find Pasha, Artem, Aljaz, Giovanni, Gleb or Gorka attractive, which is odd as my penchant is usually for dark haired me. Ian Waite remains my all time favourite Strictly pro dancer (but I don't fancy him) and I loved Tristan (and did fancy him!)

I too voted for Vaughany, particularly after that jive. He was a delight.... and did good ballroom.... no shame here...

Even though he's a Mancunian, as a Yorkshire girl I had to support Vaughan and did so with pleasure (although I don't vote), his Jive was ace and I loved his Quickstep, American Smooth and Samba as well for that matter, he had the double bounce!

Here goes:

I never liked Artem: far too much tits'n'teeth, and the male version of Aliona,in terms of, "oh F***, I have to dance with that", when not given an obvious ringer.

I wanted Simon Webbe to win, even though every time he opened his mouth, he shot himself footwards.

Mark Benton is and remains my guilty pleasure. His cha cha is still a masterpiece of comedy. Ditto Vaughany.

I never liked Flackers. Can see her sex appeal, but her character does nothing for me. Thought Andrexgate was hideously overwrought. See above.

Liked Jay, but wouldn't have been upset if GG had won.

The smug vicar bored the tits off me - I blame him for my A cups....

Sweat or no sweat, I appreciate Gio aesthetically......

Both Brenda and Anton make my loins want to shut up shop forevermore.

Having predicted that I had broken bones in my foot before having it confirmed at A&E yesterday, I now consider myself an expert in all podiatry-related matters.

I'll jump on this bandwagon and add in his Mars Attacks! Paso Doble to the awesome I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper

Unless he's smuggling it out of the building in order to bury it in a deep, deep hole very far away.
The next scintillating vt could be TTF getting dirty and sweaty while trying to dig it up again - 'scuse me, I need to dash to the bathroom after that thought

Ooooh nasty!

But congratulations on becoming a triage nurse, a podiatrist, and possibly a radiologist.

Confession time, eh? I'll stick my head above the parapet, I suppose.

I really didn't mind the Smug Vicar too much.

Vaughny is my favourite contestant, evah.

Gavbot amused me but not quite to the extent of a lot of you. I've heard of much funnier stuff about him, including getting flattened by one of his team mates a few years ago, and spending hours in a hotel bathroom shaving his legs. I cannot vouch for veracity unless Brian o Driscoll has an axe to grind with that little story.

I liked drippy Ali. By that claim I should love Louise but Kevin prevents that.

Only really got slouchy Artem. The rest of his appeal was an enigma.

Sadly I cannot claim radiology among my many talents as an x-ray was not considered necessary. Neither was I subjected to the Laila Rouass patented 'Ugg Boot and frozen peas' treatment. I did, however, delay my visit to A& E by 24 hours so that I could take my class to the Glyndebourne production of Madame Butterfly, wearing heels and smiling through the pain!

Ouch! Broken feet are painful. Didn't your foot swell up?

Oh yes! I didn't dare take my shoes off on Wednesday as I knew I wouldn't get them back on! Wore slippers to work yesterday until I was forced to go and get it looked at. Thankfully it is on the outside of my foot so I can put weight on the inside of my foot to get about!

Are you in plaster? I broke the outside bone of my foot about 300 years ago, and had a knee length cast for 6 weeks..... also in winter... or do they strap you up and tell you to apply frozen peas over your Ugg boot now?

Sending healing vibes your way, and hope you are now a fully qualified radiologist and orthopaedist. 😷😷
