If he had dropped her in THAT final lift its debatable whether there would have been any Oti to put through to the final.

Perish the thought. No Oti? Unthinkable.....

I know, it's completely ridiculous to be so bloody annoyed, but I really am.
I'm actually wondering whether to bother watching the final, for the first time ever, because I'm not sure the other members of my household should have to suffer the flouncing, slipper throwing and bad language that will happen in the apparently highly likely event of a Clifton win.

What a totally crappy way to end the weekend.
I know. I am facing the same dilemma. Considering only watching retrospectively if Doti lifts the GB. That way all Aw-ray's smug emoting and TTF's mania can be viewed through a prism of gloating that all the histrionics came to nought. While snerking at the TV.

Not to get all Brexit on people but remember to actually vote for the result you want

Unless it's a vote for Ore in which case I hope you lose your phone and internet access next Saturday

I always tend to get angsty when the 2 I voted for end up in the dance off.

I also think the final will be a lesser place without her. Wish TPTB had taken all the weeks we were a couple down to deploy a non elimination week.

What happened in series 6?
Austinwozrobbed followed by the semi-final vote fiasco culminating in Bacofoil. The Holy Trifecta of forum meltdown.

I have never been more irritated since Austinwuzrobbed. Absolute farce that the Cliftons got through despite at least one of them being awful last night.

The judges should hang their heads in shame if the viewing figures go down because of this.

I know Louise is in the final because her public vote exceeded Cloudier's, so you know fair enough. That is the role of the public afterall. But I would question whether her dancing matched Cloudier's this week? Personally, I really thought Cloudier outshone her. by fudges marking.

Ore is in the final because the fudges elevated him to the top of the leader board for a slighlty above average QS and an unrecognisable AT.

I have been fairly neutral all series and honestly I am not one for conspiracy theories but something doesn't feel right.

Oh ffs, I'm all for showing emotion (albeit, I prefer it to be genuine) but is this week sponsored by Kleenex or something?
I hope they have more stocks put in for next week as well or the studio audience is going to have to be warned to bring waders with them.

Tess did make me laugh though. First asking Claudia if she was crying and making "poor little girl " sympathy face at her, when Claudia was probably the most composed contestant in the building, and then cooing at AJ because he "want[ed] to keep his tissue." No Tess, he just did the sensible thing and put it in his pocket because most adults don't actually hand over their soggy tissues when they've finished crying. Please tell me you are at least somewhat aware that the pair of them aren't actually five years old.

Of course! Silly me.

I think the overexposure to Bacofoil must have effected my recollections of series 6.

Series 5 ... 4 person quarter final ... Alesaha in bottom 2 & dance off as Matt was power voted as safe due to stair bothering.

I'm holding onto this.

Me too. That was fun. Can we have a fun, stupid thread again or is the board going to be too fraught for the next week?

I don't honestly think the judges are remotely bothered.
They haven't learned from last year - the PDuh overmarking and his dodgy dance off, the standing ovation that never happened and the grimly relentless pushing of Kellie.
I'm really not one for conspiracy theories and I am speaking from a position of complete ignorance, but I just cannot see how the judges thought that of the 4 remaining dancers, Ore was the best and Claudia was the worst. It's just nonsense.

It has felt that way this series. Roll on 2017, maybe everyone will find their sense of humour again next year!

Claudia and Danny should have gone through - the rest could have just had a cry off.

Yep, there is a serious lack of sense of humour going round the boards. It's not like it used to be. Even Post of the day is dying a death out there.
