Frequent lurker, exceedingly rare poster...

I would like to unappreciate that we won't get to see a Claudia and AJ showdance, I think I would've loved it.

Me too! At least it would have been about Claudia rather than AJ

I doubt Ore's and Louise's will have them as the focus

I would like to unappreciate the Show Dance (one word or two?) round in general. Can't it be replaced by something else.

In my opinion most of them have been nothing more than an opportunity for the pros to turn in a load of self-indulgent nonsense.

Will Ore actually move at all in his, or has Jwann decided he gets his best marks when he does his impression of the Artem Chigvintsev memorial lamppost?

I am, indeed! Broadway-cum Ballroom/Latin - cum Broadway again! For me, it was just a shame - why waste such an amazing song choice on that choreo? It would have made such a glorious, dreamy VW, instead of contempowaft.

Oh my God, yes please. I can count on one hand the amount of showdances I've actually enjoyed.

Bring back the 1 Ballroom, & Latin format please, beeb!

Danny is a far better dancer and Cloudier's rumba was really quite bad. She wasn't getting any better. Her QS was good but that's not enough. No one needed to explain that. It was obvious.

I just have to say how much I unappreciate the fact that we're going to have two bloody "if in doubt, PIVOT" Cliftons in the final. They may be lovely people and I know they have lots of supporters but they both give me the absolute pip as I find them (and Karen) utterly charmless.

I liked it, apart from that strange waist spin, but then I'm ballet, turned ballroom, left for flamenco, teaching - and all the rest - 'til I reached AT.

I don't want pure ballroom. I can't stand the gurning and the rictus grins and the arched posture. Not natural. Gimme a bit of that - then throw in Fosse and some Bejart! Yeah!

BIB...nods in agreement.

Can the "Fudges' Choice" also be binned? Instead of seeing a dance reprised that was never that great in the first place couldn't a new dance be introduced for the final?

Maybe save the AT till then and get all remaining couples to dance it, comparing like for like?

Then we would have each couple doing 1 x ballroom, 1 x latin and one new one (AT?).

I think the final format needs a shake-up

Same here. So Blackpool sequin. So bland and gurny. Yuck.

After 14 weeks training, six days a week and god knows how many hours a day surely somebody with a bit of aptitude can make a passable dance. Even if you were non trained at the beginning you sure are now. The non dancer excuse doesn't wash with me.

See, I'm ballet too (jealous of your flamenco!), and love me some ballet feet, and extensions. I'd love a bit more actual Fosse! I just would like a liittle bit more in hold in routines (God, I sound like Len!)

My God, yes - i'm still angry that Caroline didn't get to do her AS again.

I would love that - plain and simple! I don't like couples doing all ballroom/or latin, and my biggest bug bear - love Charleston, but only one in a final, please.

So would I. He has a natural rhythm and sense of timing which is a great starting point for a beginner. I would love to teach him a proper salsa and a proper AT. I think he would be brilliant at either.

Ore is in the final because the fudges elevated him to the top of the leader board for a slighlty above average QS and an unrecognisable AT.

I have been fairly neutral all series and honestly I am not one for conspiracy theories but something doesn't feel right. ”

Quite.

THIS is what I've been shouting at the telly every time for the last six weeks when someone said NDB! I've done a little bit of dancing in my youth...but every single celeb on Strictly has got much more dance experience by week 3 at the latest!! *deep breath*

Unappreciating Darcey's belt. The dress was beautiful, but sadly spoilt by that.
Unappreciating the judges overall.

Ah well.
Have some cookies, all you lovely people.

I'd be happy if they swapped the showdance for the AS in the final, and allowed the pro's free rein to choose their own music.

Unappreciating Louise in the final. For all that I didn't always like Cloudier's dancing, there is at least a spark of something going on. Ore? Well, Joanne may go mental/produce a Tom Chambers style showdance, both of which would be good. Danny? Oti may go mental, or tell us she's only been in 4th gear all along and do something fantastic. AJ could have done something fun with Cloudier. Louise... well, there's no spark, and I don't think TTF's going to produce something fun, or cool, or interesting. And if he does, I don't think Louise can deliver that.

Unappreciating in advance the fudges' choice. I don't want to see Danny's week 1 cha cha - or his strappy foxtrot either. I don't want to see Ore's week one/two tango and cha cha. I... can't remember many of Louise's dances - waltz? VW? to Hallelujah and crazy fringing... Don't want to see that. Her rumba where she plateau'd? Don't want that either. I want them to pick their two favourite/best dances, not the crappy ones the judges always pick.

I agree with more in hold and I detest benches and trees and crap like that. Lose the sodding props! I also hate faffing on the stage beforehand. Just don't.

I'm obsessed with good feet, pointing properly and finishing every move too. And I hate ballroom faces. If it's working the expression will come through of it's own accord.

Rant over!

And what the hell was that dire pro dance all about? Sodding birds and cages and moulting cossies? Purrlease!

I agree with you. Given a bit of potential in a student that kind of hothouse training can work wonders.
