Can I also unappreciate on a personal level, the day from hell, involving an aged greyhound, a fall, a leg broken in 2 places, 3 vet consults and bills, numerous awful conversations about bone cancer, euthanasia as an option, a 4 hour round trip to an orthopaedic surgeon, not to mention a very distressed dog, and enough tears that Ore would be jealous of....
I hope your dog is OK x

Oh, I think she's going to win it.

It occurred to me, watching that panel, that she's done her own version of the Yorkshire Wardrobe. Instead of "just a Yorkshire lad who loves his cricket and his beer and his dancin'", we've got "just a mum who loves her kids and her husband and is nice to everyone". Apparently, both have had a journeeee - and my response in both cases is 'what effin' journey?'
I can't believe I am going to quote Brenda's view that she has gone backwards....

The Wardrobe had a journey from week one 19 points cha cha to week 2 30 points quickstep and Mimsy had a journey from week 2 VW baggy sack to week 3 leotard and leg warmers (and after the breakthrough cha cha, the breakthrough Charleston and the The absolutely definitely breakthrough AT).

Truely, they are the biggest journies ever seen on Strictly.

(Plus points to Smug Vicar for getting in a mention of his wife, just in case we'd forgotten his wedding).

It settles it for me. Danny may as well not turn up next week because no matter what he does, Louise is going to win it.

Secretly I hope everyone overwhelmingly votes for Danny and denies a Clifton victory, because I can only imagine TTF somehow will get more irritating if he actually wins.

I think that Louise will win too. Danny will be remembered as the one who should have won.

Gratefully accepted. Nothing like getting to know your newish colleagues by blubbering all over them...

It was just all so shocking, and noone does sad eyes like a genuinely hurt member of the greyhound 🐶family.
My SiL has a rescued ex-racing dog - she's a bit neurotic but the pleading eyes put Ore to shame, I swear she can cry on demand

Can I just unappreciated that none of the smugster winners panel on ITT wanted Doti to win...

Also unappreciative of Zoe doing the hard sell on how in love with Louizzzze's character everyone is. Like trying to cover up beige with magnolia.

Where's the Blairite triumphalist election anthem when you need it??
I don't get how someone can say Danny is the best dancer BY FAR but then say they want Louise to win... my brain just can't deal with that! Glad to see a few grumbles about the 'we all adore Louise' angle being pushed tonight as well - I find it nauseating. She may well be nice but are they implying that Danny and Ore aren't? Danny seems nicer to me in all honesty, and I wasn't keen on him at the start of the series.

More importantly, sending you and your poor dog love and hugs - having poorly pets is so awful and you have my sympathy.

Thank you. He's having an op tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

I won't feel happy until he is back giving my bed and sofa.

Unappreciating that we have to sit through Jwann's knicker-flashing jive and Louizzze's naff AT again for the final.

Well it's worth seeing the AT again just to see if they can make it even more sexless. If they can, they'd have to be wearing giant condoms and dancing in a sterile environment.

I may even neglect my threatened boycott of the final to vote for Danny heartily (though I may fall way short of the 106 an Aw-ray fanatic achieved,,), and also deploy my tactic of changing channels the second the wrong winner is announced to negate the reality reinforced by hysterical celebrating. The"I didn't see it therefore it didn't happen"school of thought...

And of course Twimsy's showdance is to 'One Moment in Time' because it's coincidentally how it feels when you're watching her dance, like you're stuck in a moment that'll never end.

I've registered 2 accounts with the beeb, so has my girlfriend and mum, so there's at least 18 votes there. I'll probably phone vote a few times as well. Almost everyone I know in real life wants Danny to win, except for the pensioners who like "that nice girl Louise and that nice chap Kevin" *bleurgh*

Well she's spouting enough bullpoo to warrant a space.

Kevin shows Louise off? Really?

Quite apart from the fact that Louise shows less inclination to be shown off than a chameleon in camouflage kit and dark glasses, Kevin's choreography and overdancing would have a drag queen with Tourette's struggling for attention.

What next? Anton is a secret samba specialist and Tess is taking over Newsnight?
Haha, Tess on Newsnight I would pay good money to see that
"President Trooomp everyone seems to hate you, never mind we all luv you don't we audience"
In a bonkers year I suppose anything is possible.

Feel sad for Danny and Oti, would love to see them win but looks like Louise is going to take it. Do you think she will throw caution to the wind and celebrate with a small sherry?

I have to say I was thinking of boycotting it and just whizzing through to watch the DOTI bits, then I thought OMG If the Clifton sibling rivalry doesn't lead to 2 bacofoils in one night I am going to be SOOO disappointed the potential for either sibling to go absolutely mental is there.

If we have to have 2 Cliftons in the final at least let them both self combust trying to out do one another as they claw their way towards the Glitterball, just at the last for DOTI to win and the siblings spend eternity arguing who came second😀

I hope everything turns out well. I had a greyhound lurcher for 15 years, still remembered very fondly.

I'm starting to think it's either a calculated thing or she's being oppressed by Jamie *dons tin hat*
I do genuinely think the latter is a possibility. His reaction the other week to Louizzzze getting so close to Kevin was one of horror. No wonder there's gapping issues!

I hope the Claudia vote switches to Danny who is much more popular than Natalie ever was. There is also the teeny bopper vote. Oh dear I think I am clutching at straws. If Louise can get through after that mess of a samba there is no hope.

The worst thing is two Clifton showdances means TWEE OVERLOAD.

I always switch off when my team has lost a football match as though it's never happened. I will do the same after the final if it's TTF. Not so much if tiny tears wins although the studio will be awash.

Thank you. He's just turned 12, and we've had nearly 8 years together. I was hoping for a few more. 15 is quite an achievement.

Kev in bacofoil and Louise locked in the dressing room refusing to come out.

Joanne in the biggest meringue evah and Ore as Norma Desmond.

Toss won't have got to the second syllable of O-, before the channel change will rival the speed of light. Get the sandbags in.....
