I don't think that Kev winning will make him stfu at all. I think it will make him even more bloody unbearable than he is already. He won't just be KFG any more. He would be Kevin, the most worthy champion ever to have graced the Strictly dance floor and the best pro evah. He'd probably get another dirty great ringer next year so that he could defend his title and be the first male pro to win twice.
If Danny and Oti can't / won't win, then unfortunately, I have to hope it'll be Ore.”

Yeah I get the feeling it would be "Can Kevin win a 2nd time?" "Can he be the first male pro to ever win 3 consecutive glitterballs?" etc. It will genuinely never end. The evil part of me wants him to keep coming 2nd - you just know it's eating away at him inside.

<removes gag>

Greatly unappreciating being tied up. And the ludicrous favouriting and unfavouriting this series. #ClaudiaWuzRobbed

Okay so looking ahead to tonight's Strictly Final, I'm forcing myself to think only sweet thoughts.

Louise and Kevin - what can I say? Louise has amazing footwork. Outstanding footwork. Well it must be as she spends most of her dances watching them herself. At least, if they win I'm sure Kevin will take the win in the modest understated way we've come to expect from him.

Ore and Jwann - I think they're in with a really strong chance. It won't have escaped Jwann's notice that their Argentine Tango got them their highest marks. Since Ore didn't do much other than stand and walk while she did all the dancing, she must realise that the less he does, the better the dance. Pushing that logic to the extreme, their showdance will essentially be Ore doing the Mannequin Challenge while Jwann tears round the dance floor like a scolded cat , flashing her knickers and wafting her gusset. My concern is if they do lift the glitterball, Ore might get emotional. I was going to say they should have sandbags strategically placed around the studio but I suspect that's not nearly enough. I think the Thames Barrier should be on stand by.

Danny and Oti - he's a beautiful mover with incredibly balletic arms, she's an outstanding choreographer and mesmerising to watch. That means Darcy will say they haven't had a journey, Len will say it lacked a fleckerl, Bruno will fall into the second row of the audience and Craig will discover that the producers have hidden his 10 paddle.

I'll sit with a face that's a cross between a smacked arse and two seconds before a sneeze, rolling my eyes, watching it all through the letterbox of my padded cell.

Enjoy from an unappreciating lurker!

Im unappreciating the fact that I'm already in a bad humour thinking that Danny and Oti may not win tonight!
I watched a bit of BBC Breakfast this morning and they even went to the Cliftons school and interviewed their parents - eh hello Danny is a finalist as well, could you at least try to appear impartial!

I can't help thinking that so much is going to be down to their show dances - i think the public really get behind a good show dance. Joanne and Ore's dance will i think have Tom Chamber vibes about it which is really what won him the glitter ball.!

Well, according to J'wann it's prop heavy.

I think Tom had it won from the minute Austin was voted off - the showdance just made it more palatable in the same way that the dummies didn't do for Colin, Darren had it won from week 2. I know people say last year was predictable, but it had nothing on that one!

Another Poster from the BBC site - OddOder

Quote:
“It's Final Night at Strictly, and Ore's spent every spare moment of the last three months trying to redeem the crime-against-jive so he can wow everybody with something spontaneous. He's now pointing his toes so perfectly he inadvertently impales Len in the Lens, and they both end up in tears. Len's sobbing so hard his script looks like a Jackson Pollock and his quips are all squiggly.

Darcey's hyperventilating so much she blows Bruno's wig off and he tries to escape by falling off his chair but can't because Len has glued his seat. There's a loud rip as his trousers part company with his Babbo de Natale shreddies, and Craig's laughing so much his Botox explodes into Claudia's cleavage.

Louise is thrilled to be performing One Moment in Time balanced on a fireplace dressed as a cuckoo clock, and executes a perfectly beige backflip right into Kevin's Big Ben, forcing his big hands to stick on five past twelve so nobody can stop him bonging until lunchtime Sunday. Security won't let either of them into the after party as nobody can clear her cuckoo.

Meanwhile, Kevin, still bonging, tips against the controls of the fiery rain for Danny and Oti's show dance, which goes off all over Dave Arch setting fire to his baton. Waving frantically to put it out, the rest of the orchestra take this as their cue to up the beat and the entire dance is done in double quick time. Quick-thinking Tess takes ten minutes to locate the fire extinguisher which goes off the wrong way and covers the judges in foam, leaving them frantically groping for their paddles which have all been switched to tens by ........

…well, you might say but I couldn't possibly comment.”

This is what happens when DS shuts down too close to the final, people stray and find alternatives.

I like your style Aggs! And if I don't eat the pizza i could use it as tidal barrier against an Ore win or a blindfold against a winning Clifton!

Bookies still favour a Danny win mostly 5/6, Louizzze not far behind at 6/4 and Ore trailing a bit at 7/1. We'll see.

I'm still pondering whether to clear the room of anything smashable and watch it, or clear the room of anything smashable and catch up later when enough gin might help with the urge to smash things.

Flood barriers have been deployed - just in case the unthinkable happens.

Can't help thinking that In the end it'll come down to showmanship. Granted Twimsy is neat and consistent and .......... Dull........ Aw-ray, pain in the arse that he is, can at least sell a dance. So it'll come down to the wire between him and Danny as excitement and flash is a big expectation of the final. Hopefully Twimsy will fade quietly into the background, and we'll get to see TTF wailing, gnashing and utterly failing to hide his rage as he misses out on a, FOURTH plastic blob.

Deliberately left myself the task of pairing up socks. Can get a good spin on a balled pair if needed, without risk of breaking the TV.

I'm worried - a cava and half a red is fine for reg Strictly - but tonight is Cliftons Let Loose with Mimsy and Tearful Trappings - I wonder if Majestic do hourly deliveries!

Evening all.

I'm getting my underappreciation in early for one thing - if there's no early elimination and all three couples are left standing at the end I really hope they switch the running order so it's Favourite Dances (to start the show with a bang) followed by Judge's Choices with the Show Dance at the end. I loved it when the couples last dance was the Freestyle; it hasn't felt the same since it was shoved earlier.

The first hurdle tonight is to get down to the final 2 - I'm guessing it will be Ore and A N Other. Im thinking the judges will have given Danny the Foxtrot to do again - does he have to use the red ribbons again or can he ditch them i wonder?

I don't think there is a final 2, it's a winner and 2 runners up.
