I wanted Danny and Oti to win, but I can see why Ore did.
I think quite a few people vote (possibly online) in the final for the first time, and based mainly on the dances in the final. Jo and Ore had mainstream dances, real crowd pleasers, which might not have been technically perfect, but didn't have any obvious mistakes.
Danny on the other hand had one classic ballroom, with an unfortunate great big mistake that was obvious to someone with no dance knowledge. The Samba was technically very good, but to the amateur eye it could just look like a lot of letting it all hang out.
I loved Danny's Showdance but can see it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea

Unappreciating Danny's showdance and the bad timing issues, he was way behind Oti at one point, and the fact it wasn't mentioned and he got 4 10s!

To be fair to Kevin next year he may be given a ringer based on the fact that practically all the female celebrities will be ringers - and we'll get a load of Balls for the men.

I wonder what the odds are for an all female final in 2017?

I thought the choreography was ugly, which I unappreciate.

Low, I would think - there's only ever been one, I think... And only one all male final - though that was a two person final. Now, three women and one man, that's plausible.

TPTB will be stacking the women odds so high, we might end up with an all women cast list

There's always a thread pet...

We can still unappreciate things but like someone. You just seem to be nasty for the sake of it. Oti is beautiful and a goddess. I think you're really reaching now!

I like Pre-Strictly Ore when he was on BBC Breakfast.
On Strictly Ore got on my wick.
Will I like him again if he carries on doing Breakfast?

(assuming he's not doing Billy Flynn in Chicago....)

Well at least Kevin came 2nd for a 4th year running. Really didn't like him swinging his sister round though and making it all about them. Urgh.

Not to most SCD viewers. That's why I mentioned RQ. I wasn't questioning Cav's ringer status, just the recognition of it

Oh yes me too. Which is quite a feat as they've been officially retired for several years now

If they introduced "Vote to Evict" they could earn a small fortune for CIN, just from me

i'm not sure the rest of the 'we' accept you as part of the 'we', although i am sure you all agree that i am not part of the 'we'. which is an enormous relief to me.

I'm unappreciating the fact that even if you have a poster on ignore, when other people quote them, you can see the posts you've been trying to avoid.

I think we'll see him do a Chris Hollins - we'll see him turn up on a few things but he'll return back to generic presenting fairly quickly. In contrast, I think Danny is going to have a very long career on the West End and touring because he can sing AND dance. It's raised his profile and no doubt people will flock in their droves to see him in anything.

I could see him doing really well in something like West Side Story or Chicago. I'd love to see him in Singing in the Rain too - he could pull it off brilliantly. That'd rub it in!

I'm going to ignore them too I think. It really is just hatred for hatred's sake, isn't it?

True. Always has been an issue no matter which forum. At least here you can ignore. BBC blogs you are stuck.

I used to really like Ore as a sports presenter on BBC Breakfast but I went off him during the Olympics in Rio as he just wasn't as up-to-speed as the other presenters. He's always come across as a nice bloke though.

Oh thanks. Well I've been posting on here for about 5 years (under a different account originally) but I'm glad you get to decide who is "we" and who isn't. I quite enjoy posting on here but if I am not part of the thread and you want me to stop, I will.
