Love it! A woman who tells it like it is. Only thing, I'm still in my Gleb porn stage and the way he worked a baton ...

Anywho, not sure who or what Shemar is, I'm a traveller round these regions, but that last line is worthy of post of the day.
He's one of the staff. We pick famous actors/ singers who we fancy (see Jason Isaacs, Hugh Jackman, Robert Downey Jnr and others) and hire them to fulfill our every whim.

In reality he's Shemar Moore (actor from Criminal Minds).

Have we seen a TTF/celeb rumba yet? I dread to think.
That weird thing with him dressed as a tin soldier, and Frankie as a doll - stiff, jerky, the opposite to what is supposed to be a good rumba - and fantastically over marked.

Ah, I didn't really watch last year- so I didn't have the pleasure. If you could call it that?!
I seem to remember it being very twinkly. Frankie was the Christmas Tree Fairy or something and I think Kevin was a toy soldier. Remember when Brendan did a nice, sweet, romantic rumba for Sophie because he scorned all things carnal (*nobody look at the rumbas he choreographed for his earlier partners*) and wanted us all to glory in the innocent love that rumba portrays? If you can imagine taking that, theming it like the Nutcracker ballet and adding extra sweetness, that was Frankie and Kevin's rumba.

I think they did reasonably well with it. I seem to remember I didn't like the song choice and it all went downhill from there.

Thank you for answering the question I hadn't got round to asking. Just googled him, he wouldn't be the worst person I could think of to be on ankle restraint duty

Having been out all day (watching my team get bloody beat), SWMBO and I have just watched on FF. I am sure sofa has had a rant and at the moment, I don't have time to catch up on 18 pages of your ramblings ................ but please tell me that that AT was truly atrocious and not worthy of 4 9s and then, wasn't K&K supposed to be doing a VW???? Because that was the strangest VW I have ever seen.

The AT was terrible and the VW was a musical theatre romp with random table dancing but very little VW.

Just watched the show after a meal out with the in-laws and OMG Jay's rumba actually made me cry. I hate the rumba, hate it with the burning fires of hell but that dance brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful and the styling, the setting, the emotion, the story telling never mind the exquisite way it was choreographed and performed, was just utterly perfect.

I enjoyed the show and felt sorry for Anita as the staging for her routine did, as Len said, show off her poor footwork. Helen's paso face was awful, so distracting but I enjoyed the routine itself and thought both the foxtrots were delightful to watch and the VW was nothing like a traditional VW but was, nevertheless, quite entertaining especially as I despise Oliver! as a musical.

That AT was truly atrocious and not worthy of 4 nines. I haven't read back to see if how SK reacted or if she has yet recovered but I will eat my Comme II Fauts if she liked it even a bit.

I think my shoes are quite safe.

There was a poster here who used to do detailed breakdowns of the ATs, including technique and what steps were just made up. I'd love it *cough* if someone could do that here (and for the others, in fairness).

Yes I remember it was a guy's name wasn't it? John Curry maybe. He was good. I could do it, now I know how to do slow motion on u tube. But not tonight. I am flying to Spain in the morning. I might have a go when I get there though.

Crying with laughter at the rest of the forum tonight with the threads and comments. I swear some people will use any excuse to have a go at the dancers they don't like.
My favourite so far is a comment about Jay looking like he was dressed as someone from the Deep South while dancing to a song from a musical set in Ireland and someone else pointed out they did sell checked shirts in Dublin
