It's worth watching Danny & Oti's showdance, which was amazing. And Kevin & Louizzzze's for the factor. He's channeling Bacofoil, but a low-rent Bacofoil. Greaseproof paper instead, maybe. The Greaseproof showdance.
Eminently sensible (keeping in character) as aluminium has possibly been implicated in Alzheimer's

And we made it through an entire series without bifurcation

Some series, we made it through about 10 threads...

Why don't you all trademark 'Never Danced BefORE' (TM) and use it as perfect antonym for 'Ringer' in future series. Thus, the talented real beginners can be referred to as 'Never Danced BefORE'.
I don't think we need the 'Tiny Tears' one though.

They've just introduced Ore and said "with no dance experience at all". Eamon has now said it for the third time. Ore says it's all down to Jwann as she's so brilliant.
Dry boke.
There's a weird suggestion that those who went to stage school are cheating from Eamon. Why do they ask these folk to join the show then!
Fume.

Eamon is not the most informed person. He did say last year on ITT that J had no training, and classed him as a NDB, so I wouldn't really get into a tizzy about anything he says. The competition's over. What difference does it make now?

No formal dance training is not the same as no dance experience at all.
I've had no formal dance training but plenty of dance experience.

I was away visiting family at the weekend visiting family, though I kept an eye on this thread. Somebody put the telly on for Strictly, though as it had already started we were behind, and I couldn't see it from where I was sitting.

I took the same approach to Danny as I did to Natalie - glad they made the final but never thought they'd win. I thought Louizzzze had it in the bag, so an Ore win is OK by me as I preferred his dancing, and as with Natalie, no plastic ball is going to make me think the winner is the best dancer.

I think all the heavy-handed storylining this year has spoiled Strictly for me. I don't buy into conspiracy theories, but I wish they'd let stories unfold or be a tad more subtle about manufacturing them. Yes, I know putting subtle and Strictly in the same sentence is almost as oxymoronic as putting logic and Darcey together.

Although I've got the final recorded, I haven't watched it yet. No doubt I'll get round to it, but I suspect the FF button will be getting a pounding.

Deeply unappreciating that they dragged Danny all the way to Salford to ask him about three questions and spend most of the time showing clips of Ore winning.

At least Danny's got work lined up whereas Ore is... just going back to what he was doing before. So that's worked out well then. He'll be presenting Watchdog within the year.

That's a good point I had forgotten it is filmed in the NW. No wonder he looked so knackered (but still handsome!).

They probably also gave him some papercuts and provided him with lemon so that he could do the decent thing. Or should that be salt - can never remember. Perhaps it's both and tequila on the side!

Pretty smart ploy of Danny's agent though to get him booked on the show before they even knew who'd won though!

I think he lives in Liverpool as well though so he'd probably be back up here anyway.

I've never had a problem with non-StrictlyOre. It was StrictlyOre that made me want to throw slippers at the tele.

Thought so. I see him pretty regularly in Liverpool and he's always been lovely when people want a photo or what have you. He is annoyingly handsome in person too and looks even better with a beard.

Can't say the same about some of the Corrie people who I see every day and a lot of them act like they're some A-list star, mentioning no names... (*cough* Anthony Cotton *cough*)

While clutching a Malibu and Coke or some other sickly concoction. Sounds like my dance experience... (although I've now upgraded to wine and my stilletos are no longer white).

I got all my practice from WKD and Bacardi Breezers. Oh and cider, which we discovered just smells like Lemonade to a lot of people and thus is easy to sneak into parties/concerts/school (delete as applicable)

Dear Anthony has always been a complete **se. It's very short sighted of him. He'll end up doing tacky radio commercials and sales promo if he's not careful.

Not sure why soap slebs think they're 'stars'. It's not Ibsen, is it? Some of them end up doing nothing else until they get written out and sink into obscurity.
