Thought so. I see him pretty regularly in Liverpool and he's always been lovely when people want a photo or what have you. He is annoyingly handsome in person too and looks even better with a beard.
Can't say the same about some of the Corrie people who I see every day and a lot of them act like they're some A-list star, mentioning no names... (*cough* Anthony Cotton *cough*) |

The worst one is - now, how shall I do this without names - an older lady who works in one of the retail outlets, unusual hair colour for a woman of her age, who has the Northern accent on the show but offstage is very lahdidah and carries on like a Great Actress. Very irritating woman. You're in a soap opera, ffs, not Ibsen!

I'd like to unappreciate the fact that DS shut down for 3 days to effect all these wonderful upgrades with smileys and a search function (that operates after Sept 2015...) 'n all.
And it's exactly the chuffing same as before! |

We can unapppreciate quite well with or without you. You are welcome to the thread, it has been going for many years and we all meet up when the series starts in September or specials. Our only rule is unnapreciate with wit rather than malice ![]() as to wit, well i did my best to deal with the comments direct at and about me lightheartedly. so apologies for any offence, and i'll leave you all to it. mostly

Last blog comment from jo7 over on the BBC site ![]() Quote:
To those that have enjoyed them here is the final episode of Strictly balls*@&. I've enjoyed writing them and thank you once again for your lovely comments. This blog brings arguments, debates and laughter but is never boring so to everyone on here I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy 2017. Catch you next year......possibly!
MB - what can I say. You should all be kneeling down before greatness P - You can't mean Ore? MB - Don't be ridiculous. Me dammit me. I am the worker of miracles. I have created a masterpiece Kevin - but daaad you told me that I would get the glitter ball. MB - Ah yes...sorry about that. Change of plans. That's what happens when you push more than one couple Kev - but whyeee? MB - stop your whinging boy. We kept it in your family. We just thought that we had to pick someone who had....style, flair and who worked for the BBC P - and blackmail MB - who told you that P - you did MB MB - ....When? P - after week 3 I heard you saying that Ore had to win or he'd tell the press that he saw you touch Jo on the cucarachas MB - I deny it all.....moving on. So Kevin, we've pencilled you in for the final next year Kev- Who am I going to be partnered with MB - We're still auditoning. As soon as we've picked someone we'll send them off to ballroom boot camp. So next year, any ideas for changing things up on the show P - how about combinine it with other shows? We could do strictly come bake off. They have to do a foxtrot whilst baking a victoria sponge. Points deducted for gapping and a soggy bottom. We can get Mary Berry in to replace Len MB - hmm not sure about that. Although it would solve the problem of replacing Len. Maybe we should bring back Arlene P - you sacked her for being old MB - oh. Has she got any younger? P - her face has MB - maybe not. We can't have 2 judges who can't smile. Any other ideas? P - how about strictly come homes under the hammer. The couples could tango around a newly renovated house whilst guessing how much it's worth per calender month MB - nope P - how about strictly does I'm a celebrity. They could do a cha cha whilst their heads are in a box full of cockroachs and eating a kangaroo testicle MB - this is the BBC. We don't do testicles of any sort on the BBC. No no no we can't change things too much or we might lose our control. P - there are people saying we should publish the voting figures MB - heaven forbid. Just put a statement out saying we wouldn't want to influence the voting or distract from the winners victory. P - isn't that a bit wishy washy MB - nonsense makes us sound like we're warm fuzzy people who care about the welfare of the celebrities P - and do we? MB - only if it boosts ratings. Ok people that's it for this year. Sweep up the sequins, put the costumes in storage and put Tess back on charge. See you back here next autumn. |

I've heard pretty much the same about those two in particular, whereas the very talented Lindsey Coulson (Carole of EE) who lives very close to where I used to work couldn't be lovelier, really nice, low key lady
So is the bloke who runs the cafe in the same show, and his wife in the show who is no longer in it - they're both lovely and very very friendly to all. It tends to be the ones who don't have much of a career before the show or who aren't getting work whilst on it who are divas. |

On the upside, at least we have that Christmas special to unappreciate next week. I bet Gorka and Frankie will be fab together. She'd have been a worthy winner if she hadn't been lumbered with TTF.

It's worth watching Danny & Oti's showdance, which was amazing. And Kevin & Louizzzze's for the
![]() ![]() factor. He's channeling Bacofoil, but a low-rent Bacofoil. Greaseproof paper instead, maybe. The Greaseproof showdance.

Deeply unappreciating Never Danced BefORE on Breakfast this morning.
It actually drove me to put Good Morning Britain on, which only made it worse. |

Despite the "Austinwuzrobbed" feeling about series 6, I always felt Tom was the more likely victor. However, I feel robbed that I never got to see the public's fight to its conclusion. Tom and Austin were obviously way ahead with the viewers. They should have both got through to the final to give the audience the real "people's champion".
