Was just wondering if we could play the 'racial' card here?? After all, some people complained because there were black people being eliminated .......... but then both winners have been black so ............

I love how close the Class of 2016 seem to be. They seem genuinely overjoyed that Melvin won!

I can only assume things must have looked rather different in the studio. Either that or the floor staff were handing round Jager bombs every five minutes. Because I saw no evidence of the claim by the obliging poster who actually saw the show live (and generously provided the result) that Melvin's was the best dance. In fact, it was a bit pants.

I guess as it was the audience voting, they probably all voted for him.
Friend went to the recording of it and said Melvin's genuinely was the most fun of them all and he probably had a bit of sympathy, being a Week 1 boot. |

I don't think 10 Class of 2016 voters would sway the vote that much!
Friend went to the recording of it and said Melvin's genuinely was the most fun of them all and he probably had a bit of sympathy, being a Week 1 boot. It's safe to say it wasn't his dancing anyway

I'd read on the spoiler thread for this ep that Melvin's dance was brilliant. Instead, I got a week 5/6 Charleston

Only if it's week 5/6 for Peter Shilton it was shite
Worthy of a week 1 boot, what SCD obsession with him, he can go back to obscurity now and the public should never vote for anything for the rest of 2016 they just can't be trusted. |

Are the BBC really this stupid?? A guy that gets booted first week beats all those other dancers??
You can just imagine the scenario .......... some dick at the BBC phones his 'agent' ....... "Oh hello, tell dear sweet Melvin that if he does the Xmas special (which will be filmed in November) as a reward for not kicking off when he got classed as the worst of the lot in 2016, we'll let him win" As Richard Littlejohn would say, 'you couldn't make it up'. |

![]() Better than the nice kind person on the main thread about yesterday's show who decided it would stir up trouble if they posted the result as the show started. Which as you can imagine didn't go down well and then called everyone thick if they hadn't already seen the result elsewhere. Or are you taking the mikey out of that post? |

Well, I'd like to thank the Christmas special for showing there are a least 2 things more annoying that TTF - Karen(notfromGrimsby) looking round at the beginning for something to do on the last beat of the music that's not a kick, and coming down in favour of a half hearted bop-cum-shimmy.
Anton getting a 10. I have an inkling that with a proper contender (sorry Katie) he would be unbearable. Hair and make up must hate Frankie. It doesn't matter what they do to her. She looks gorgeous. Nice of them to put Gethin in a pseudo-uniform though. Many thanks. Denise is still awesome. Really, the result couldn't have been more obvious if they'd had them dance to 'Thank You Very Much' from the Scrooge sound track. Talk about pin the tail on the obvious storylining. Less is more guys, it really is. |

After the broadcast is a bit unfair to ask for spoilers.

Unappreciating the demise of George Michael. Deeply utterly gutted
![]() Also unappreciating having to use the onscreen keyboard for several days now (having tried new batteries, holding down the Shift key for 8 seconds), mouseclick by mouseclick. Very tedious - I take being a 10-fingered typist for granted. |

Didn't see much TV yesterday as we were travelling back from friends, and fully intended to watch the show today. It never occurred to me that the result would be mentioned in this thread, we are usually very good about stuff like that. And given the day that's in it and that some people would not have seen the show 'live' on the day, I don't think it's unreasonable to use spoilers for that comment. |

No, don't go on the rest of the boards any more, just on here, so I don't know what's on there.

I know it is kind of opposite to the thread topic, but I still want to let you know my appreciation for making me laugh out loud several times!
I do have a mostly nice filled liquor cabinet though: Baileys, Prosecco, Aperol Spritz anyone? |

The Christmas show was fun, pantomime and totally off the scale. Loved it.

Shame Oti wasn't there and I could've died a happy man! |
