They're not that bad when you get over the alcohol imbibing and extreme casual sex 😳😂

I prefer TOWIE to Geordie Shore, it took me a while though as they're incredibly talentless no marks with no inherent ability to do anything other than bleach their teeth and have lip fillers.

But after a while, like anything, it washes over you and it's not much different to soaps (that I don't watch) but just with more sex and drinking. You do despair at the futility and the culture of being famous for being famous, but it's just this generation's thing. I'm sure we had ours.

It's just like watching my son with his friends really, they're all as shallow as puddles. I was buying make up at the Estée Lauder counter when up saunters my son asking for a full make over and could they do anything with his eyebrows 🙄 He's 16 and gets the girlfriend of this week (who is usually a hairdresser) to pluck them to within an inch of their life. He is definitely a different species to me and his dad, but underneath it all he has a good heart.

I defended Helen though, as she got a lot of stick often unnecessary, a lot of it inverted snobbery, a lot of it claiming that she was a bitch, and a lot of it putting down her dancing, when she was no way as bad as some claimed. She brought out my keyboard warriorship as I don't like unfairness and boy was she dealt an unfair deal last week.

Eta actually with regard to theming for many weeks.”

I love Helen. I want her to record Enid Blyton audio books.

Is your son year 11 or year 12 Alli?

Mine is a bit younger and doesn't watch TOWIE or Geordie Shore. It's all football in this house.
He's quite athletic and I've seen him get a fair bit of attention from girls but is oblivious for the most part. I expect all that to change soon though.

She peaked as Marilyn Monroe week I think. Was that movie week? But I'm glad she went out on a high as a wozrobbed contestant, so she obviously went before her time and that often means she'll be more fondly remembered than maybe some of the others like Anita or Kellie

Was I the only one that loved her charleston? And her Dr Beat salsa? And her hot mess of a paso?

He's doing an apprenticeship, but would be year 12. My son is a walking hormone not helped by being a cute walking hormone so I have groups of girls following us around giggling. He's like a bloody pop star 🙄

We were in Bluewater last week and a bunch of school girls started shouting his name, they'd found him online via one of the stupid social media sites and were screaming at him, I cannot tell you how hard I want to roll my eyes.

Girls these days are very different to my day I've found. And now I sound like Queen Victoria 😳

I am now imagining casual sex on a mountain ledge in a high wind. Or casual sex while bungee jumping. Or possibly underwater surrounding by ravenous sharks.

Don't worry about me. I'm strange. I'll get over it.

I meant theme wise, rather than dance wise. I hated her charleston costume, it was far too fussy.

I must admit I'm really not a lover of her Latin 😳 Much as I love her but her ballroom was gorgeous.

Ahhh hormones.

Your son sounds ace though. Has he got representation?

Unappreciating my new neighbours opposite who have a camper van, a business van, and today have installed black windows. I believe they are fashionable but the venetian blinds I have been putting off for years may have to happen. Oh well I need a Jay fix to calm me down.

The frames are a very dark grey outside, and white inside. They can't see them just me living opposite.

Please don't encourage him, 🙄

But enjoy the little time you have left with your son as a child, they grow up overnight. Mine is now definitely nearly all man and not much child and it happened in a couple of months. I think leaving school made the huge difference though.

Unappreciating that puddly tat needs a tooth out in the morning. She will be better for it but just lost her sister to lymphoma so unappreciating being back at the vets.

I loved the first two but I couldn't enjoy her Paso - even though I thought she made a decent fist of it, especially in the dance off (compared to how bad it could have been IYSWIM) - because I was already certain she'd be going home because of it.

Paws crossed for her and sorry to hear about her sister. We lost four pets - two cats, two dogs - in the three years leading up to June, which was a grim spell.

I did give her 1/3 of my votes last week in the vain hope that it would make a difference.
