I've no clue where they'd get the idea that people would be led into overblown outrage over Craig giving someone a 6...
For that Argentine Tango I think a 6 was generous

No, I'm saying

this. Both times. Neither Jay or Anita were at all vulnerable. Helen was low and if Georgia hadn't catapulted into the dance-off then Kellie's proved more than capable of it. They were just poking a beehive, like they were with Jay.

(Although it was Jeremy who went home the week of Jay's foxtrot, not Jamelia)

I just knew you would resort to spread sheets !

Are you saying you don't think Anita is vulnerable ?

She is Peter part 2 to me, a poor dancer over praised , small highly vociferous fan base on here, dumped by the judges, the next week the public realise she is not good, and is in the dance off, i think the only one they wouldnt save over her is Katie.

What Argentine Tango? I saw no AT. And 6 was generous for flappy feet and pigeon toes - shudders-
And whilst I'm at it, why put someone with horrible feet in black shoes so that they stand out like a frigging beacon.

On a lighter note, Delta your teapot posts and this thread responses have had me howling with laughter, many thanks

I don't think she was vulnerable last week, no. She got a massive audience reception for her Argentine Tango and it was to a very crowdpleasing song and there were too many stage-school female types still swimming around splitting that vote.

It's going to be much harder this week though - Jay's popular, Katie (and Anton)'s popular, and Georgia's on a bounceback (and has had the potentially ropey/boring cha cha conveniently taken off her). One more week of fault-finding would see her off IMO.

So Peter part 2, these story arcs are somewhat predictable, no. ?

They fault find again and she'll go through, they give it the "that was a very nice attempt dear" damning with faint praise, 2 or 3 points lower than the rest and she's toast imo

£130 for a fecking TEAPOT COSTUME???!!!

I'm glad you're having fun Rosedroplet, because I might never be the same again. I'm traumatised. I've had to turn to coffee instead. And gin. Mostly gin, if I'm honest. Alright, all gin.

I think it also depends on how hard they push for "ANTON MAKES HIS FIRST FINAL!" and how low Jay is. If you want rid you should probably be hoping he'll be low down. Ish. 3rd. Somewhere around there.

Doorstepping - is that trespass, legally?

ETA sorry realised just how far the thread has got - 6 pages since I read your post coppertop - this is re your elderly relative and the charities.

I will admit here that if accosted by chuggers in the High Street, I tell them to get an honest job. It's quite shocking the language which then ensues ...

My granny used to hide her gin in the teapot, we all thought she just liked very weak pale tea ,that made her very merry afterwards

In my context I used it to mean actually physically turning up at her door with forms to fill in, rather than just sending letters

I could get on board with your granny's teapot.

I don't think it really matters where Jay is unless you mean in the context of wanting rid of Anita. Helen, I think, has panicked all sets of fans, so I don't think it matters where on the leaderboard he comes.

Plus, I'm not sure I think they want rid of Anita. I think they want a Jay, Anita plus 2 others in final. I think it's Kellie that's the disposable one, especially if someone like Georgia cocks up.

Yes that's what I meant - if you want Anita gone then it helps if the most popular dancer has a mare - like how Louis messing up his jive helped get rid of Lisa Riley.

I do agree they wouldn't mind losing Kellie though. God knows how she'd juggle her filming schedule with all the finale stuff.

Ahhh, got you!

Plus I'm sure there is still something they can squeeze to get a few more inches out of the "never danced before" storyline.

Just wondering where the boundary of her property begins, you know is it at the end of the drive, if they are there to bother her (rather than being the postman, or a visitor or whatever) could it be construed as trespass - particularly if it occurs after they've been informed specifically (by letter to them, rather than by a notice on the door - which apparently has no legal validity? can't remember where I read that) that they're not welcome.

Can you issue a restraining order to a charity? no employee of theirs allowed to go within x yards of her ...

I am not taking the pee, this is my rather tired mind going off on one.

Anton might nick it, he's clearly been eyeing it up for a while.

Come off it. I don't think even Strictly bosses think they can get away with claiming Anton's never danced before.

I am soooo waiting for him to say it on the main show clearly!

It's quite funny how Giovanni stole the "Stay" for the paso, then. Alijaz the Helen Special, and Anton's Katie is never done this dancing before.

I get the feeling (plus Kevin jibes at Gleb's vanity) that Gleb isn't the most popular pro among the other male pros. (Unlike Alijaz .)

Is it wrong that I want to see he verbal battle of the Untrained?

Anita: I've never done any
Katie: I've never done any
Anton: I've never done any Latin
Gleb: I've never done any ballroom
Anton: Anita still hasn't mate, I'll teach you to leave my QS move out. 😜
