I always assumed that Orson was the "what could have been" for Clara to have in mind - if she'd stopped travelling with the Doctor and chosen to stay on earth with Danny and live happily ever after, she could have had children and grandchildren and Orson could have existed... however, with her timeline in a state of flux, it wasn't a definite and Clara's choices, which led to Danny's death and her own in time, rendered it an alternate timeline.

Yes he was - The Silent explicitly stated this on screen in The Wedding of River Song. And that was after the Silurian shot him.

In the last episode, the Doctor died possibly 100 billion times and came back to life, in a single episode. I'm sick to death of people dying and coming back to life. Moffat is like a chronic masturbator with regard to people dying and coming back.

My guess is Danny was originally going to survive and maybe even become Orson, which some people theorised he was, as opposed to a descendant. But Moffat changed his mind.

That would be Captain Rory Williams not Nurse Rory from our non-corrupted time line. I get your point, but it doesn't change the fact that he never really died. Apart from Curse of The Black Spot when he was brought back by the floaty medical witch thing.

Grit your teeth and try and get through Moffats lasts season. I'm sure you could watch X-Factor or Dad's Army instead if you were really that sick of it. Or are you going to be repeating the same things for the next 18 months?
I am sure when series 11 (provisionally titled 'Doctor Who-The Holocaust of Everyone') airs you will get your wish. 'Just this once' says The Doctor gleefully 'everybody dies...' as she laughs like a maniac...

I think we all know the answer to that one, Some people are like 'chronic masturbators' (Nope, me neither...) when it comes to making the same old criticisms of Moffat's work.

Simple fact is...and it is a fact...
