Subscription level for 3D - Free trial
Looking to give Netflix a trial over Christmas via a TalkTalk YouView box. Does anyone know what level of subscription the free trial is, will it include HD? Does Netflix have any 3D films if so are they included in the free trial and what subscription level is required after free trial to watch 3D films?
Thanks for any help you can give. |

I'd assume the trial will be the basic, whether you get HD or not you will only find out once you start the trial. There was when I took mine out, but then there was only one plan back then.
There is currently no 3D content at all in the UK. |

Just had a live chat with Netflix. If you sign up to Standard (£7.50) then that is what you get as Free trial.
I asked about 3D in UK. I was told that there was none!!! He was going to report back that people in UK want 3D back!! I doubt that, but nice to say he would pass on the comment ![]() He did mention Googling and VPN to get 3D!!!!! interesting....... I will have to look into that. Anyone know if there is a working Netflix app for XMBC (RPi) or Kodi? Cheers |

Interesting that even NF are suggesting using a "3rd party" to obtain other regions

To get 3D movies in USA the Internet Service Provider (ISP) must have access to the Netflix Open Connect Content Delivery Network.
Therefore unless you live in the USA is it should not be possible to get 3D Movies. |

I can receive 3D movies via US Netflix on my LG TV using www.unblock-us.com, the facts are there just isn't very much 3D content available. And what is currently available is pretty rubbish.
You are right, I use smart DNS for USA as well and I have found some 3D content. Do you know where I can find a list of 3D programs available? |
