For those that don't know and have an iphone(Android may have something similar?), but if your on the lockscreen and swipe to the side and then tap emergency, then tap medical ID, you can then put your date of birth and add some numbers for your next of kin or spouse etc. Then anyone can access this incase of an emergency, really good idea and only takes 1minute.

Just thought there would be a fair few iPhone users who had no idea about this, I didn't until a couple of months back, just got a new iPhone so added mine in again

Yep - same thing on Android - just swipe up the red phone in the bottom left hand corner of the lock screen and that will bring up photo buttons of your 4 emergency contacts - the user can then touch the photo button and the phone will call that contact.

Also I have a scrolling message on the lock screen to advise people what to do in case of emergency (ie - swipe up red phone in bottom left of screen).

Worth everybody doing it (whatever phone) as you never know when it will come in handy.

Indeed, especially as it took me all of 2mins to setup 3 emergency contacts.

Get it done people

I must be missing something here, on the bottom of my lock screen, I have on the left a phone symbol, a padlock and a camera symbol. If I hold the phone symbol and swipe up I get my normal pattern unlock screen. the only thing I can access from that is is the emergency dialler

You need to go to the health app to fill out the info. Once it is filled out you will be able to see it in the emergency dialer
