A Strictly Bird In Your Hand Is Worth Two In Your Bush - Should We Be Grateful Or Do We Need More To Prevent Strictly From Becoming A Boring Show ?

Its an old saying but a very apt one at the moment as we have never had it so good with so many quality dancers at this stage of Strictly Come Dancing.

But is it boring without a Peoples Champion ?

Do we need a Peoples Champion ?

Who is your favourite Peoples Champion from the Strictly Come Dancing past?

I'm not interested in Peoples' Champions.
The better the dancers the more I enjoy the show. I don't care if they've had dancing experience and I'm not interested in their personalities.
My least favourite winners were Darren Gough and Chris Hollins who I suppose could be described as peoples' champions.

Not in the samba Terry. There are famously few bushes in Brazil.

You know what, I would happily have seen Jeremy go further as he loved what he was doing UNTIL they turned him into the joke contestant, around about plastic horse time.
Shame really. It continued with the abysmal mining and the final nail would have been the guitar, similar to bloody Russell coming out a cannon, Victoria on a bike or Judy up away with balloons.

You may not be interested in a Strictly Peoples Champion but remember viewers tuned in every week in their droves to see what Anton had up his sleeve for Ann Widecombes next dancing extravaganza, Ann had a cult following in her year and generated a great deal of excitement in many a living room on a Saturday night, mine included.

Jeremy was a pure joy to watch on Strictly Come Dancing, he really did love his involvement and relish the challenges of learning new dancing routines on the show, I voted for him to go further but alas it was not to be, he had the potential to be an amazing Peoples Champion.

John Sergeant was the first and probably most memorable Peoples Champion on Strictly Come Dancing, please forgive me for correcting you but he was no "quitter", there were other forces at play at the time if you remember.

Just....

Keep SCD as it is! No chsnge required, 12 million watch it.

Look what tinkering with X Factor did, it killed it stone dead.

That makes erm... 1 then. Its the bumping of them to flood the front page thats the problems - Another forum member also does it on the Strictly section too. IMO its an attention seeking thing

Hi katt I have missed you too, I am very grateful that Strictly is coming back onto our screens despite the areas that still need to be improved upon to bring back the glory days to Stricrly Come Dancing.

Anyways, I feel like Ed Balls will become hugely popular; maybe a people's champion lol.
