• The episode begins with a montage. The montage starts Connor Ellis and Georgia Murphy waking up in bed next to each other. Connor greets Georgia with a kiss. "Morning," he smiles, and Georgia smiles. "Good morning," she says as he kisses her again. The scene then cuts to outside of Number 3c Woodchurch Square, where Tommy Ellis is stood, holding flowers. Ellie pulls the door open and groans. Finally, the scene cuts to Joe Windsor and Katy Osborne leaving Number 20 Woodchurch Square. Joe looks across the Square to see Lauren kiss Nate goodbye, and Joe looks extremely jealous, which Katy notices, however is distracted by Joe's daughter Sophie pulling on Katy's hand.

• At the local college, 'Woodchurch Community College', Kyle Mercer and Maddie Murphy are leaning against Maddie's locker, kissing passionately. Drama Teacher Carl Campbell passes, and tells the pair to stop. "You can do that in your own time," he says, and Kyle kisses Maddie before leaving. He strolls over to his brothers, Sam and Caleb, both of whom have also started attending the college. "Hey." "Where were you last night?" Sam asks, and Kyle blushes slightly. "I may have stayed... somewhere..." Kyle says, and Caleb grins, punching his arm playfully. "Maddie?" He asks, and Kyle shrugs. "Mate, that's great!" Caleb enthuses. "Yeah, she's well fit," Sam agrees. "I hope you're not talking about my sister," Maddie's older sister, Danielle Murphy, warns, having overheard the whole thing. Sam frowns. "'Course not. If we were, I'd rather have her sister than her," Sam flirts. "Which one?" Caleb asks. "All of 'em," Sam jokes, and Danielle rolls her eyes. "None of my sister's would touch you with a 10-foot barge pole," Danielle quips before pushing past Sam, who wolf-whistles quietly. "She... is even fitter," Sam grins, as Kyle shakes his head.

• Back at 'The Chase Hotel', Connor and Georgia are lying in bed, watching Come Dine With Me. Connor's arms are wrapped around Georgia, who is resting her head on Connor's naked chest. "We should probably get going soon, babe," Connor whispers. "Not yet," Georgia pleads. "Just ten more minute...". The pair kiss, and Connor chuckles, kissing Georgia passionately. "Have you, erm, thought anymore about my suggestion?" Georgia asks, and Connor sighs. "I dunno, Georg..." "Look, if you don't want to, that's fine..." "It's not that I don't want to-" "I mean, I know we're probably just a little bit of fun - we won't last more than a year, right?" Georgia says, as a stray tear escapes from her eyes. Connor sighs. "Listen, I really like you - actually, I think I love you. But running away... we can't. What about your family? My family. Your nan's really struggling and everyone else has been through a lot recently." "Like Jess?" Georgia asks quietly. Connor shrugs. "It was ten years ago, but it's still... it still affects everyone, alright? And us running away... that's not going to help anything, is it?" Connor reasons, and Georgia shakes her head. "No, I guess not..." Georgia whispers as Connor kisses her again.

• "Just hear me out, El!" Tommy pleads, following Ellie, who is walking through the Square gardens. "No, Tommy!" Ellie says. "You kissed my little sister!" "It was one kiss, nothing happened!" "Because you were interrupted! We both know what would have happened had Michelle not had entered!" Ellie shouts. "El," Tommy reasons, but Ellie shakes her head. "Just leave me alone, Thomas," she orders before storming off, leaving Tommy stood in the middle of the Square, embarrassed...

• Joe, Katy and Sophie are sat in the park. Joe is playing with Sophie, whilst Katy is sat next to him on the bench, staring at the sky. "What's up, babe?" Joe asks, and Katy shakes her head. "Nothing," she lies, and Joe nods. Lauren passes, holding Nate's hand. Katy turns to see Joe, who is staring at them. "Mummy!" Sophie shouts as Lauren grins. "Soph!" She smiles, picking Sophie up and hugging her. Nate watches awkwardly as Joe looks at him. "We should probably get going," Katy says, and Lauren pouts. "Can't she stay a little bit longer? Can I look after her for a bit?" Lauren asks, and Joe shakes his head. "We were gonna take her to the zoo. Besides, you're... busy," Joe nods his head to Nate slightly. Lauren shakes her head. "No, we're not. Ah, come on. We want to spend some time together, don't we, Soph?" Lauren pleads, and Sophie nods. "Mummy," Sophie claps, and Joe sighs. "Fine. Just bring her to mine at six," Joe says, and Lauren nods, before leaving. "How about me and you head home, have some... alone time?" Joe flirts, pulling Katy into a hug. "No, I don't really feel like it," Katy says, and Joe frowns. "Is everything OK?" He asks, and Katy nods. "Yeah, 'course." She leaves, leaving Joe to think about her actions.

• Sam enters 'The Black Lion' after college to see Danielle sat at a table with Crystal. Sam sits down on a table behind them, out of view of Danielle. "Hey, babe," Crystal says as Aiden strolls over to them. Aiden kisses her, and sits down. "How are you two?" Aiden asks, and Danielle says she is fine, whilst Crystal does not reply; she just leans in and kisses Aiden again, more passionately this time. "Mm, someone's missed me," Aiden whispers inbetween kisses. "I'll show you how much I've missed you if you want," Crystal says flirtatiously as Danielle sticks out her tongue, making an 'ugh' sound. "That a promise?" Aiden asks as Crystal pulls him out of the pub, Aiden laughing. Danielle takes a sip of her drink as Sam slides into the booth. "Hey," he grins, and Danielle rolls her eyes. "What do you want?" Danielle asks, and Sam smirks. "You looked lonely so I decided to join you," Sam says. "Don't say you don't want some company... especially when I'm buying?" Sam winks, and Danielle sighs. "Mine's an orange juice and lemonade," Danielle says, and Sam grins. "I knew you'd let me," Sam says, and Danielle smiles sarcastically before Sam heads up to the bar.

• Back at the hotel room at 'The Chase Hotel', Connor and Georgia are back in bed, kissing passionately when the door bursts open, and Ellie storms in. "Ellie!" Georgia screams, covering her naked body with the duvet. Ellie shakes her head. "You're coming home with me," Ellie orders, and Georgia shakes her head. "Just get out, Ellie," Georgia says. "Georgia, he's ten years older than you!" "So?" "So you can't... it's wrong!" "Not as wrong as you sleeping with Chris! He's ten years older than you but you still did it, didn't you?" "That was last year, I was a reasonable age," Ellie reasons. "So? I'm twenty-one - I can make my own choices!" "So having sex with him is a good idea? And you're using protection?" "Well..." "You're not even using a protection?" Ellie shouts, but it is aimed at Connor more than Georgia. He sighs. "We have, it was just one time that we didn't." "One time is enough!" Ellie says. "Well it wasn't," Georgia snaps, "Because I've done a test, and guess what? No baby. So go back to your stupid, cheating boyfriend and leave me and mine alone," Georgia orders. Ellie sighs, clearly defeated, and leaves, as Georgia sighs, placing her head on Connor's chest...

• "Why did Joe take Sophie in the first place?" Nate asks as he arrives back at Number 3c with Lauren and Sophie. "It's... I don't want to talk about it," Lauren says, and Nate nods. "Just know that, if you ever do, I'm here," Nate smiles, and Lauren sighs. "Sit down, I'll explain," Lauren says, sitting down on the sofa with Sophie on her knee. Nate sits next to her. "Two years ago, Christmas 2013, I was... I was diagnosed with Bipolar Depression. I mean, I've suffered with it all my life really, but when I was pregnant, with Sophie, I tried to... I tried to set the flat on fire whilst I was inside. And then, when Sophie was born, I tried to jump off the hospital roof. Joe saved me. But then we split up after... stuff happened, and he got with Katy and I struggled with Sophie; I couldn't do it. I jumped in front of Jake's car back in February 2014. I survived, obviously, but me and Joe decided it'd be best if he took Sophie with him - they were already planning to leave by this point. And that's... that's it, I suppose." "I'm sorry," Nate says, rubbing Lauren's back reassuringly. "Honestly, it's fine. But I, erm, I've never actually bonded with Sophie properly. And now she's back I want to... I really want to," Lauren says, smiling at her grinning daughter, who is playing with Lauren's hair.

• Marcus sits by Leah's hospital bed, staring at her. His eyes are dark, and he clearly hasn't slept. "Look, Le..." he whispers. "It's Christmas tomorrow, and me and Pat, we need you. Please, just wake up, baby. I'm sorry..." A nurse enters, and smiles. "Marcus? You've been here for thirteen hours... we suggest you go home and sleep, or at least have a shower and get changed, freshen up a bit," the nurse says, and Marcus nods. The nurse leaves and Marcus pulls his creased jacket on. He kisses Leah's forehead before walking towards the door. As he places his hand on the door handle, there is a loud noise. Marcus turns around to see Leah shaking violently, her eyes wide open as she desperately tries to rid herself of the tubes and wires connected to her body. Marcus screams for a nurse as he sets about stopping Leah from pulling her tubes out and hurting herself...

• Back at Number 3c Woodchurch Square, Lauren is sat in the kitchen, typing furiously on the laptop. Nate strolls in, holding Sophie's hand, and Lauren slams the laptop lid. "What was that?" Nate asks, and Lauren shakes her head. "Nothing," she says, picking Sophie up and giving her a kiss. "L..." Nate says, but Lauren shakes her head. "Just leave it, Nathan," she orders. Nate sighs. "Peppa," Sophie says, pointing to the TV. "You want me to put Peppa Pig for you, Princess?" Lauren asks, standing up and strolling over to the TV. Nate quietly opens the lid of the laptop, and finds a form on the laptop. "Leave that!" Lauren shouts as Nate reads the application... a custody application. "Lauren, what's this?" Nate asks, and Lauren sighs. "It's just..." Lauren gulps. "I want my baby back, Nathan." Nate recoils as he stares at Lauren's serious expression.

• Back at 'The Black Lion', Danielle and Sam are talking whilst drinking. "About earlier..." Sam begins, but Danielle shakes her head. "Sam, I'm trying to have a drink. I don't want you bringing up something as stupid as calling me fit, which, by the way, you are right about," Danielle says, and Sam puts his hands up, laughing. "Alright, alright," he says, before taking a sip of his pint. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Danielle quickly finishes her drink and puts the glass down on the table. "Look, this is nice and all but I need something a bit... stronger," Danielle says, looking Sam up and down. He grins. "Any suggestions?" He asks as Danielle laughs. "I might have one or two," she says, standing up and exiting the pub, followed quickly by Sam, who downs the last of his pint. As Sam exits the pub, Danielle pulls him closer, and the pair kiss passionately. Sam pulls away, pulling Danielle into the alleyway next to the pub and pushing her against the wall, where they kiss again...

• Finally, Connor is stood in the hotel room, looking in the mirror as he prepares to put his shirt on. Georgia enters behind him, and Connor stops. "Are you alright now?" Connor asks, and Georgia nods. "Yeah. Ellie's gone, took a bit of persuading, but..." "I've been thinking," Connor interrupts. Georgia raises an eyebrow. "About?" "You're right - there's too many distractions here; too many obstacles. So let's do it. Let's leave Wolfe Hill," Connor says as Georgia stares at him, slightly confused by his sudden change of heart. The episode ends with a shot of Connor's face.

A RESIDENT TO BE ATTACKED ON CHRISTMAS DAY! | Thurs 24.12.15

The next episode of 'Woodchurch', which is part one of the Christmas Special, will see one female resident attacked by Cheryl's attacker.

Regular viewers will know that Cheryl Murphy (Ann Mitchell) was attacked last month by an unknown resident, and the culprit is set to strike again.

The residents at risk are Samantha Ellis, Louise Windsor, Michaela Hassan, Charlotte Windsor, Ellie Murphy, Lauren Murphy, Danielle Murphy, Georgia Murphy, Shannon Windsor, Maddie Murphy, Paula Walker, Michelle Hardacre, Connie Hardacre, Heidi Atkinson, Sofia Ramahn, Saskia Fisher, Crystal Fisher or Mia Butcher.

The attack will occur outside the club, just before the stunt, meaning the victim could be a death in the stunt - could that mean the attacker will murder, and get away with it as it is put down to the crash?

'Four episodes will be published on Christmas Day, all set on Christmas Day.'

The spoilers for the Christmas Episodes (and Boxing Day episode) have been released, and are extremely vague.

The spoilers show that the stunt will definitely happen on Christmas Day, and that Mia, Aiden and Sam are amongst those in danger. They also show that Aiden will be left in a critical position. It also confirms that at least one person will die.

• It is Christmas Day in Wolfe Hill, and the episode begins with a montage. At 3c Woodchurch Square, Ellie wakes up in bed alone. She turns over to find an empty patch next to her and sighs. Across the road, at 6 Woodchurch Square, Nathan and Lauren wake up in bed next to each other. Nate is still reeling after his discovery the previous day that Lauren is going for custody of her daughter. The scene then changes to 1 Woodchurch Square, where Tommy is stood outside, smoking a cigarette. At a room in 'The Chase Hotel', Georgia Murphy and Connor Ellis are packing their stuff, preparing to leave the Square (and Wolfe Hill) for good. And finally, Danielle Murphy wakes up next to Sam Mercer in his bedroom. She looks at home and frowns, not remembering the previous days' events.

• At 'Walsgrave University Hospital', Marcus Wood is sat in his wife Leah's room when their son, Patrick, enters with three coffees. He passes his Dad one without speaking, before putting his one down on the cabinet and then helping his mother - who has been in a coma - to drink. "Merry Christmas, Mum," Patrick smiles, and Leah nods weakly. "M-m-m-m... Chri---stm..." "She's struggling with her speech," Marcus says, and Patrick nods, not looking at him. "Do they know why?" "Could be because of the coma..." "Or?" "Or she's brain damaged." Patrick sighs. "This is all your fault," Patrick says. "Pa..." "No, Mum. It is. If he hadn't have slept with Heidi, you wouldn't have been angry and you wouldn't have slipped!" Leah's expression changes as Patrick says the word 'slipped'. She opens her mouth to say something, but can't. "Pat, maybe we should leave your Mum to rest for a little bit," Marcus says. "We don't want to be stuck in here all Christmas," Marcus says. "And neither does Mum, but because of you, she doesn't have much choice!" Patrick shouts, before storming out. Marcus looks at Leah. "I'm just gonna follow him," he says, kissing Leah's head before rushing out, calling Patrick's name, however he is gone...

• Aiden and Caleb are setting up the club for the Christmas Party when Samantha and Peter enter, Peter clutching a box of decorations. "Merry Christmas!" Samantha squeals, hugging Aiden, who smiles nervously. "Yeah, hi Mum." Samantha pouts. "Merry Christmas to you, too, Mum!" Samantha mimics Aiden in a squeaky voice, and Aiden sighs. "Merry Christmas, Mum." "That's more like it," Samantha grins, slapping Aiden's face softly and playfully. Aiden rolls his eyes as Caleb giggles quietly. "Where do you want this?" Peter asks, and Aiden points to the top of the bar. Peter places it down before looking around the club. "Looks great, Ai!" "Cheers, Dad. I was worried it'd be too much." "Nah, it's fine."

• Nathan is sat on the sofa, kissing Lauren - who is dressed in a skimpy female 'Sexy Santa' Costume. "Maybe we should head upstairs," Nathan whispers into Lauren's neck, but she shakes her head. "Ooh, you want to do it here? Adventurous," Nathan grins, unbuckling his belt, but Lauren stops him. "Actually, I was thinking we could go to that Christmas party later?" "But babe-" "Look, we'll go for an hour and then come home?" Lauren suggests, and Nathan nods. "Alright, fine." "Anyway, the party doesn't start for three hours..." Lauren says, "And I've heard somebody's been good this year." Nate grins. "I'm pretty sure I'm on the naughty list this year, babe," Nate grins, following Lauren towards the stairs. "Ooh, I know just the punishment for you," Lauren smiles as Nate kisses her at the bottom of the staircase. "Mm?" he asks, and Lauren nods, kissing him again passionately.

• The scene then cuts to later in the day. The entire Ellis family are settling down in the pub for Christmas dinner. Around the table is Peter, Chris, Jake, Andrew, Riley, Tommy, Aiden, Crystal (with Aiden), Danny, Robbie, Jack, Logan and Jay. Samantha enters, carrying the food. The scene then cuts to Cheryl and Gregs' house, where Greg, Maddie, Danielle and Ellie are sat around the table. Cheryl is in the kitchen. Lauren and Nate enter, and Lauren greets Greg and Cheryl, before asking if Nate can join them. "Of course! You know I make enough for a hundred! In fact, why don't you invite your brothers over as well," Cheryl suggests, and Lauren and Nate thank her before going to get the other Mercers'. On the way to the Mercers' house, Lauren begins to speak about her daughter, Sophie. "I was thinking of going to see Joe and Soph later. Just to say hi. It's her second Christmas, and I want to be able to see her," Lauren says. The scene then cuts to the Windsors', where the Windsor are celebrating their first Christmas back in Wolfe Hill (and on Woodchurch Square). Duncan, Louise, Glenn, Charlotte, James, Joe, Katy, Lee, Liam, Darren and Shannon are sat around the table, whilst Sophie is in a high-chair next to Joe. The scene then cuts to Number 2, where Michelle and Connie are sat around a table, eating. There is a knock at the door, and Michelle's daughter Ada Hardacre stands in front of Michelle. "Hey Mum!" Ada grins as Michelle stares at her in shock.

• Back at 'The Chase Hotel', Connor is loading his and Georgia's bags into the boot of the car, whilst Georgia is texting. "Are you ready, babe?" Connor asks, and Georgia nods, clicking send on her text, before climbing into the car. The scene then cuts back to the Murphy house, where Lauren receives the text, which flashes up on-screen: 'From: Georgia. Message: Lauren, I'm sorry. I'm leaving Wolfe Hill. In fact, I'm going now. I'm sorry I didn't get to say a proper goodbye, but I guess you've got Ellie to blame for that, as she keeps trying to stop me. Say bye to Nan, Granddad, Maddie and Danielle. And Soph. Love you, I'll keep in touch. xxx". As Lauren stares at the phone, tears forming in her eyes, Nate notices, and asks what is wrong. Danielle peers over her shoulder at the text, before Cheryl grabs the phone and reads it. "Georgia's running away," Cheryl announces, causing Ellie to choke slightly on a potato. "What?" "Georgia is running away," Cheryl repeats, and Ellie groans, grabbing her phone off of the table and rushing out. "El!" Lauren shouts. Ellie opens the door and rushes out. She sees Tommy stood outside of the pub, smoking a cigarette, as is Aiden. "Tommy!" Ellie shouts, rushing over to them. "What's up?" Aiden asks, and Ellie shakes her head. "I'll explain on the way, I just need you to drive me somewhere." "We'll take Tommy's car, it's closer," Aiden says, as Tommy throws his cigarette to the ground and stamps on it before climbing into the drivers' seat. Aiden climbs into the back, whilst Ellie gets into the passengers' seat. "Mum? Yeah, me and Tommy have got to pop out. Start the party at the planned time, we'll get there ASAP," Aiden says into the phone. "We need to go to the hotel," Ellie says, "Connor and Georgia are going to run away."

• "Ada, what are you doing here?" Michelle asks, clearly surprised by her daughters' appearance ten years after she was last seen. "Yeah, hi Mum," Ada says sarcastically. "Great to see you too(!)" "Well, of course it's great to see you, but... how did you get my address? And what's wrong?" "Granddad," Ada says simply. "And your Dad's OK with this?" "He doesn't know - and he doesn't need to!" Ada says. "Right," Michelle says. "Well, we're just about to have Christmas Dinner and then head out to a party... want some?" Michelle offers, and Ada nods. "Yeah, cool." Michelle leads her into the dining room. "Ada!" Connie squeals excitedly. "Auntie Connie!" Ada grins, hugging her aunt, as Michelle watches them, smiling.

• Tommy, Ellie and Aiden pull into the car park in time to see Connor and Georgia leaving. "They're there!" Ellie says, pointing to the car. Tommy does a u-turn and begins to follow them. Meanwhile, at the club, Samantha is putting the finishing touches to the decorations as the guests begin to pile in.

• "You guys carry on, I've left something at home," Michelle says, after inspecting her handbag. Connie rolls her eyes, as Ada pouts. "Seriously, Mum?" "Sorry, Ade. I'll be five minutes. You two go to the club and I'll just run home," Michelle insist before leaving. "So, what's it like around here?" Ada asks, looking around the Square. "It's... nice. Bit... over the top, sometimes, but nice. I can't believe you've never visited before." "Well, y'know how Dad is. Wouldn't let me visit, and then when I went to Uni I just didn't get time. To be quite honest, I'm convinced he's still peeved off about the whole surname malarchy." "Yeah, I never understood why that annoyed him so much," Connie says, glancing down at her watch. "Anyway, how is Uni?" "Yeah, it's good," Ada says. "I've been studying there for two years now. It's a nice place." "What're you studying again?" "Fashion," Ada smiles. "But when I'm done there I'll be moving up here, to London." "Really?" "Yeah, why not. It'll be nice to get to know Mum again. I've missed her," Ada says, and Connie nods.

• Pulling onto a busy road, Connor presses the 'ON' button on the radio. As 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' begins to play, Georgia fidgets in her seat anxiously. "Are you alright, babe?" Connor asks, and Georgia nods. "Just... nervous." "I love you," Connor says, and Georgia smiles. "I love you too." Georgia leans over and kisses Connor, who kisses her back as he stops at a red light. They kiss passionately, but Connor stops her. "Not yet. Maybe we can find a hotel later, celebrate Christmas together before we head off to Majorca," Connor suggests, and Georgia nods. In the mirror, Connor notices Tommy's car and groans. He curses under his breath as Georgia cranes her head to see Ellie's worried expression in the passenger seat...

• Michelle strolls along the street, on the way to the club. It is now dark, around 5.30pm. She opens her handbag and pulls out her phone as it is ringing. "Connie," Michelle says. The scene cuts to Connie, who is in the club, dancing with Ada. "'Chelle, where are you? Me and Ada are waiting." The scene cuts back to Michelle, who is outside the building next to the club. "I'm-" Michelle screams as a hooded figure grabs her, hitting her over the head with a wrench before swinging her and throwing her to the floor. She screams again as her bag flies through the air, landing in a heap. An unresponsive and bloody Michelle lands on the floor, and the figure pulls her body to the bins, covering her with a single bin bag before picking up her bag and running back into the alleyway. Connie's screams can be heard through the phone. "Where are you? Michelle? What's happened? MICHELLE!" Then, several residents stroll out of the alleyway (at separate times): Jake (who looks about shiftily before leaving), Blake, Riley, Jay and Patrick. They all enter the club, all of them missing Michelle's lifeless body.

• Finally, Connor and Georgia are speeding through the streets, trying to get away from Tommy's car. In the other car, Tommy, Ellie and Aiden have taken another route, intending to cut them off. Connor swears in frustration as he reaches the motorway, which is closed due to roadworks. He turns to see the only other route full of traffic. Hitting the steering wheel in anger, Georgia suggests they take a detour through the Square, which brings them out on the other side of the motorway. Connor agrees, reversing, and begins to drive towards the Square. Tommy's car pulls up on the Square (outside of the club) to see Connor and Georgia heading towards them. "Connor!" Aiden screams, climbing out of the car. "What's he doing?" Ellie asks, and Tommy shrugs. Connor slams his foot down on the brakes but it doesn't work, and the car begins to skid. Aiden screams as the car hits him, sending him flying over the car and landing on the ground. Connor's car skids into Tommy's, sending Tommy's car rolling into the wall of the club, followed closely by Connor's car, which smashes into another part of the club. The partygoers scream as a load of rubble falls down on top of Connor's car, blocking their exit. Outside, Aiden lies, motionless on the floor, whilst in the garbage area, Michelle also lies motionless, now covered in rubble and dust from the wall. Back inside, Tommy lifts his head to see Ellie lying on the floor, having taken her seatbelt off in a bid to get out. In the other car, Connor's head is on the steering wheel, bleeding heavily, whilst Georgia has cuts all over her face, and is unconscious, her head also bleeding heavily and her dress red from blood from her stomach, where windscreen glass as cut her. Samantha lies at the bottom of the car, having been hit by it as it crash through the wall. Peter lifts his head up and gasps as he sees the roof about to give way. He screams out for everybody to run as the roof collapses, rubble and brick showering everybody. There is a shot of Samantha, Peter, Duncan, Louise, Glenn, Charlotte, Michaela, Chris, Andrew, Jake, Riley, Jack, Logan, Jay, James, Robbie, Danny, Lee, Lauren, Danielle, Joe, Katy, Liam, Darren, Shannon, Maddie, Paula, Connie, Ada, Carl, Heidi, Sofia, Saskia, Crystal, Patrick, Dale, Blake, Mia, Jayden, Nathan, Kyle, Zac, Sam and Caleb all lying amongst the rubble. There is a shot of Aiden, followed by a shot of Michelle. There is then a shot of Tommy and Ellie in their car before the camera focusses on Connor's car, which is upturned and smoking, surrounded by rubble...

• The episode opens with a shot of the Square, smoke billowing out of the club. Aiden's body is on the ground outside, covered in blood, having been hit by the car. Inside the club, it is dark, having all of the light taken away from the doors and windows being covered by rubble. Smoke fills the club as Crystal awakens, coughing and spluttering. "He... hello?" She calls out, but there is no reply. "Anybody?" Crystal cries and gasps as she feels a body next to her. She turns to see Jayden lying, motionless, covered in dust and rubble. "Jay... Jayden," she whispers, shaking Jayden who coughs. "What happened?" Jayden asks, opening his eyes and wincing in pain. "I don't know... are you OK?" "My head hurts," Jayden says, feeling the back of his head. He looks at his hand and Crystal gasps, staring at his blood-covered hand. "My head's bleeding," he announces. "We need to get you out," Crystal states. "No, Dale and Carl are in here, as well as everybody else. You go and get an ambulance, I'll try and help some others." "Yeah, fat chance of that," Crystal says, pointing at Connor's car which blocks the door.

• Outside, Cheryl emerges from her house, followed by Greg, having heard the bang. "Greggory, phone an ambulance," Cheryl states before rushing towards the club. She shakes as she notices Aiden and Michelle. "Michelle!" Cheryl screams, rushing to Michelle. Michelle is unconscious, her face covered in blood and bruised, and her head bleeding heavily. "Michelle, wake up, honey," Cheryl pleads, turning to see Aiden, who is stirring. "Aiden, are you OK?" Cheryl asks, but Aiden does not move. "Georg... Georgia and... Ellie... they're in the car..." Aiden manages, pointing to the car which has crashed through the wall. As Aiden falls unconscious again, Cheryl screams, realising that her granddaughters are in the club.

• Back inside the club, the roof begins to creak as Jayden stands up. Crystal is trying to find an exit. "There's nothing!" Crystal calls. "We're going to die!" "No, we're not," Jayden calls. "I promise," he mutters. He moves a rock, finding Riley. "Riley," Jayden says, pulling more rocks. Riley is fully conscious. "What's happened?" "There's been a crash," Jayden explains. "Are you OK?" "I think so," Riley says as Jayden helps him up. "Is everybody else alright?" Riley asks, before gasping as he looks at the destruction. "I'm not sure. Crystal's fine, she's trying to find a way out." "What about Mum? And Mia...?" "I'm not sure, mate. Are they both in here?" Jayden asks, and Riley nods.

• Outside, Marcus runs through the streets, trying to find Patrick. He sees Cheryl holding Michelle and rushes over to them. "What's happened?" Marcus asks, and Cheryl explains what she knows (which isn't a lot!) before saying that Greg is phoning for an ambulance. Marcus nods, before rushing over to Connor's car. He opens the back door, which is sticking out of the building, and it wobbles. "Connor?" he asks, shaking Connor, who stirs. "She's... she's bleeding..." Connor whispers, pointing to Georgia. "Her stomach... there's loads... there's so much." "Alright, Connor. I'm going to try and get you out, and then I'll get Georgia out, OK?" "No, get her out first." "Connor, listen..." "MARCUS I SAID GET HER OUT FIRST!" Connor shouts. There is a loud scream from inside as Crystal calls for help. "Marcus!" She shouts. "Help! There's loads of people in here!" She screams. Realising the situation is worse than he thought, Marcus asks Connor if he is able to carry Georgia outside. Marcus then climbs through the car, sliding through the broken windscreen and scratching his leg on a shard of glass. He curses before climbing off the car, stepping over Nate and Lauren, not seeing them. He hears a loud coughing and looks down to see Chris. "Chris, I'm going to get you out, OK?" Marcus says, but Chris shakes his head. "No, I'm fine. Take her," Chris says, pointing to Samantha, who is lying next to him, having been hit by the car as it entered. As Marcus picks Samantha up, the roof begins to creak. Sirens can be heard outside, and Marcus sighs. Samantha is still unconscious as Marcus passes Samantha to a shaking Cheryl. Two paramedics then put Samantha onto a stretcher and put her into an ambulance. "Do you know how many people are inside?" A fireman asks, and Cheryl frowns. "Erm... about thirty, forty maybe?"

• On the second floor of the club, in the bathroom, Joe's body is slumped against the wall of a cubicle. Katy is lying next to him, covered in rubble, as the pair had been kissing passionately when the crash happened. Katy coughs, and after looking around for a second, she screams. "Joe! Joe!" She cries, attempting to wake up her fiancé, who is unresponsive. "Joe, please," she cries. Joe stirs slightly, and Katy breathes out a sigh of relief, which disappears when she hears a loud creaking noise. "Joe!" Katy screams as more dust falls down from the ceiling, which is about to collapse. The bathroom door bursts open, and Jake runs in. "Katy!" He calls. "I'm in here," Katy cries, desperately trying to move Joe. Jake joins in and helps her. As they pull Joe out of the bathroom, the roof collapses.

• Outside, several residents are now safe, being checked over by the ambulance. Amongst these are Duncan, Charlotte and Sofia, as well as several unnamed residents. Several paramedics and fire officers are working on getting Georgia out of the car, whilst Chris, Connor, Marcus, Jayden and Riley work on helping everybody else out of the doorway, which has now been cleared. Chris helps Louise out, coughing and spluttering. "Louise!" Duncan calls, greeting his wife with a hug. "Duncan..." Louise whispers weakly. At that moment, several other residents run out of the club, coughing, including Kyle, Paula, Connie and Saskia. Kyle falls to the ground, unconscious, as two paramedics run towards him. "Where's Crystal?" Saskia asks as she stumbles over to the ambulance. "Inside," Sofia replies, and Saskia gasps. "I thought she was out!"

• Back inside, Crystal has found Jake, Katy and Joe, and is attempting to help them. "He's still unconscious," Crystal announces, trying to clear a way for the four to get out. "Crystal, we'll take the stairs," Jake says, but Crystal shakes her head. "They're not stable," she announces whilst grabbing a broken chair leg and hitting it into the glass. The glass smashes as Crystal begins to scream for help. "Look!" Sofia announces as everybody turns to see Crystal screaming. "We need help, he's unconscious!" Crystal shouts, and several paramedics and fire officers rush over to the building. "I'm going to send a ladder up," a fireman announces. As he runs back to get a ladder, a police car pulls up and PC Roscoe gets out.

• Meanwhile, on the bottom floor of the club, Connor is desperately trying to open the door of Tommy's car. "Jayden, give us a hand," Connor says, and the pair manage to pull the driver's door open. "Tommy," Connor says, shaking Tommy. "Jayden, help..." Ellie whispers, opening her eyes. Jayden rushes round to open Ellie's door whilst Connor helps Tommy out. "Did... did I cause this?" Tommy asks, and Connor sighs. "No, mate. No, you didn't." On the other side of the wrecked club, Peter, Glenn and Andrew are supporting each other, trying to help some others. Caleb finds Lauren, who is also now awake, and trying to help Nate, who's leg is trapped under a beam. "I need some help," Lauren says, and Caleb nods, calling for somebody. Carl rushes over, and begins to help move the beam. "3... 2... 1... Pull!" Caleb shouts as he and Carl both pull the beam, Lauren helping Nate to slide out. "Where's Joe?" James screams, and Lauren gasps. "Joe was in here?" She asks, and James nods. "Where's Sophie?" Lauren panics, and James gulps, calling Joe's name frantically.

• "Alright, love, you first," the fireman, Daniel, says. Crystal climbs out of the window, and - with the help of Daniel - climbs down the ladder. "Alright, you next, sweetie, followed by the unconscious one... are you alright to wait until last, mate?" Daniel asks, and Jake nods. There is a loud creaking. "Alright, we need to hurry up!" Daniel announces, his voice full of panic. There is another loud creaking and the floor collapses, the ladder falling and Daniel falling off. The floor collapses and Jake, Katy and Joe fall through, landing on top of Danielle, Caleb, Carl and James. "Dani!" Lauren screams as smoke covers them, followed by rubble. Jake, Katy and Joe's lifeless bodies lie on top of the pile of rubble.

• Outside, Saskia rushes over to Crystal, engulfing her into a hug. "Crys," she cries, and Crystal smiles. "I was so scared," Saskia admits. "Well I'm out now, I'm fine," Crystal insists. Louise rushes over to them. "Did you see Glenn, Liam, Joe, James, Lee, Shannon or Darren in there?" Louise asks, and Crystal nods. "Joe... the floor collapsed. Him and Katy and Jake, they..." Crystal falls unconscious as tears run down Louise's face. "Crystal? Help! Somebody help me, please!" On the other side of the street, a paramedic is desperately trying to convince Connie to get into the ambulance. "Please, Miss, you need to be checked over." "No, not until I know she's safe. My niece, Ada, she's still in there. Oh, God, she's still in there..."

• Several more residents rush towards the door, having just woken up or managed to escape. Sam, Zac, Andrew, Logan, Danny and Shannon all rush out. Inside, Michaela is lying unconscious by the office. Jack, Jay, Robbie, Lee, Liam, Darren, Maddie, Ada, Heidi, Patrick, Dale, Blake and Mia are all lying on the ground. Marcus, Peter, Glenn, Chris, Riley, Jayden, Connor and Tommy are trying to help more people. Georgia is still trapped in the car, whilst fire officers try to cut her out, and Jayden is trying to help Ellie. Joe, Katy and Jake are still unconscious on the pile of rubble, whilst Caleb, Danielle, James and Carl are buried under some rubble. Nathan and Lauren are also trying to help. Chris picks Mia up, telling Blake he will be back for him in a minute.

• Chris returns from the building, holding Mia in his arms. "Can I have some help, she's pregnant!" Chris shouts. As some paramedics rush over, Chris heads back inside. As Chris runs back in, the smoke from the car grows. "Get back!" The fire officer who is working on Georgia screams as they run away. Connor hears the screaming and turns to see the car engine on fire. "Everybody run!" Marcus shouts as Connor rushes towards the car, pulling the door open forcefully. He grabs Georgia's seatbelt which is jammed and desperately tries to unbuckle it. "Just go," Georgia insists, but Connor shakes his head. "I'm not leaving you," Connor whispers. Connor wipes one of Georgia's tears away as he kisses her, still fiddling with the seat belt. "Georgia!" Lauren screams as she notices the fire. Outside, several residents are running away as a massive explosion rips through the club, sending several residents flying back. Cheryl screams as it explodes, and the screen fades to black before playing the credits...

• The episode begins at 'Walsgrave University Hospital'. A nurse is treating Aiden Ellis, who is in a critical position. The scene then cuts back to outside of the club, where Cheryl is crying as a tearful Louise consoles her. The scene then cuts again, to a live feed from Sky News. A BREAKING NEWS indent flashes up on-screen as the 9pm reporter, William Coomey. As William explains about the nightclub disaster, there is an aerial view of the Square, smoke billowing out of the club.

• The scene then cuts to inside the club, where Nathan stirs, having been knocked unconscious. He looks up at a lighting rig, which is hanging precariously. Nathan turns his head to Lauren, who is also unconscious. There are several cries and screams, but Nathan's vision is hazy. He closes his eyes, and opens them again to see Maddie looming over him. "Nate?" She calls, and Nate groans. "I... we need to get out of here," Nate announces groggily, and Maddie nods in agreement. She shakes Lauren, calling her name. Lauren stirs, before coughing and spluttering, having hit the ground hard following the explosion. Maddie and Nate both help Lauren up, but as Lauren turns around, she refuses to move, staring at Connor's burnt-out, destroyed car, which her sister had been sat in when it exploded. "Where's... I want to see Georgia's body," Lauren gulps, and Nate sighs.

• Back outside, Cheryl is crying again. She grins as Nate, Maddie and Lauren emerge from the club, Lauren crying. "Lauren! Maddie!" Cheryl shouts, rushing over to them and pulling them into a big hug. "Where's Ellie? And Danielle and Georgia?" Cheryl asks, and Lauren shakes her head. "Nan..." Lauren whispers. "Ellie is still in there, Danielle is trapped under some rubble and Georgia..." Lauren bites her lip, tears running down her face. "Nan, Georgia was in the car." Cheryl recoils in horror as she turns to see the burnt-out car, which is being pulled out of the hole in the wall. More rubble falls down, but several trapped residents manage to escape before it does so, including Jack, Blake and Dale, all three of whom are badly hurt. "No... no," Cheryl cries as she falls to the ground, being consoled by Nathan, Lauren, Maddie and Louise. "Did you... have you seen her... have you seen Georgia?" Cheryl asks, and Lauren bites her bottom lip. "No. No, I haven't," she says after a while.

• Back inside, there is a loud creaking noise as the rest of the second floor threatens to give way. Still inside are Marcus, Peter, Glenn, Michaela, Chris, Jake, Riley, Jay, James, Robbie, Lee, Danielle, Joe, Katy, Liam, Darren, Ada, Carl, Heidi, Patrick, Jayden, Caleb, Ellie and Tommy. There is a shot of a first-person point-of-view, as eyelids flutter open before closing again. There is loud pants before the eyes shoot open and Georgia screams in pain. "Shh," Connor whispers. "It's OK, you're alright, babe." "Am... am I dead?" Georgia asks seriously. Connor chuckles quietly. "No, babe. We're in the back office," Connor explains. "It's safer in here." At that moment, Marcus enters. "Hey, Georgia," he says, kneeling down next to Georgia. "I'm here to check you over, OK?" Marcus asks. "No. I want to go home," Georgia states, and Marcus shakes his head. "You can, but I just need to check you over and then we'll get you out, alright?" Marcus promises, and Georgia nods. Meanwhile, Tommy and Ellie are desperately trying to clear the rubble which James, Caleb, Danielle and Carl are trapped under. Darren, Liam, Chris and Riley have already helped Joe, Katy and Jake up, and are carrying them towards the doorway. As Joe, Katy and Jake are taken into an ambulance, Heidi, Patrick, Robbie and Jay also rush out, coughing and spluttering. "There's more people in there!" Heidi shouts as she falls to the floor.

• Chris and Riley rush back in, but Louise orders Darren and Liam to stay put. "You've done enough, today," Louise insists, and they sigh before agreeing with her. They head to the paramedics to get checked over. Meanwhile, just a little further up the street, Mia is panting heavily as she panics about her unborn baby. "It's going to die isn't it? My baby's going to die," Mia cries as Blake - Mia's fiancé, and the supposed father of the baby - rushes into the ambulance. "Mia," Blake whispers, kissing his fiancée passionately.

• At 'Walsgrave University Hospital', Leah is sat in bed, having woken up from a coma the day before. She is confused by the sudden rush of casualties, and recognises Crystal. She presses her buzzer, and a nurse rushes in. "Wha... what's happ..." "What's happened?" The nurse finishes her sentence, as Leah is struggling. Leah nods slightly. "There's been a crash. 'After Life', a nightclub on Woodchurch Square." "Is... every... bod... alri... alright?" Leah stutters, and the nurse shakes her head. "Several badly hurt, about six feared dead," the nurse says, and Leah gasps. "My so... son and husb... ex-hu... husband..." she whispers.

• Back at the back office of 'After Life', Marcus has just finished checking Georgia over. "Right, she looks fine - or as fine as can be. Let's get her out," Marcus says. Meanwhile, Lee is clawing away at the rubble, as is Tommy and Ellie. They manage to free Danielle from the rubble, and Lee takes her out. Cheryl is over the moon, and thanks Lee. Lee mentions Carl, James and Caleb being trapped still, and Sam overhears. Sam follows Lee in despite Nathan, Zac and Kyle's arguments. Inside, Ada is stirring. She coughs and splutters, before screaming, noticing the destruction around her. "Help!" she screams, but her throat is dry, and it comes out hoarse. "Don't worry, I'm here," Lee - who has just entered again - states, helping Ada up. He helps her out, and Ada tearfully greets Connie whilst Louise suggests Lee stays out, having helped several residents to safety, saying he needs to get checked out.

• Elsewhere at the hospital, Michelle is in her own hospital room, with an oxygen tube ETC. Connie and Ada rush in, and Ada gasps. "Mum..." she whispers, hugging her mother. Michelle is unresponsive. "She must've been hit by the car or something..." Ada begins to speculate. "I knew it was a bad idea letting her go home alone," Connie whispers to herself. "Hey, first Christmas home and this happens," Ada - whose eyes are full of tears - chuckles, although it is obvious that she is just trying to change the mood. "Ade..." Connie whispers, but Ada shakes her head. "Merry Christmas," she whispers, before breaking down into tears...

• Michaela opens her eyes for the first time since the crash. Rubbing the back of her head, she is distressed to find a heavy amount of blood coming from her head. Pushing herself to her feet, Michaela stumbles about and finds Marcus and Connor about to carry Georgia out. "Michaela," Marcus breathes a sigh of relief. "Nobody could find you," he announces. "I..." Michaela presses her hand against the back of her head as she receives a surge of pain. "You're bleeding, heavily. We need to get you out to get that looked at. Connor, stay here with Georgia, I'll be five seconds," Marcus announces, helping Michaela out. A paramedic checks her over as Marcus heads back in. Tommy, Ellie, Peter, Glenn, Chris, Jayden and Sam are pulling rocks away, attempting to free James, Carl and Caleb. "Sam..." Caleb whispers weakly, reaching his hand out to his brother. "Cal," Sam cries, and Caleb smiles weakly. "If... If I die... Tell Nathan... and Zac... and Kyle..." "Hey, mate. You're not going to die, alright?" Sam insists, but Caleb shakes his head. "Just shut up, Sam. I know, OK. I know we're not getting out. So just... just tell them I love 'em, alright?" Caleb pauses. "Alright?" Sam nods. "Alright," he smiles as Caleb thanks him. "3... 2... 1... Go!" Tommy announces as they all pull a huge beam up. James wiggles out, coughing and spluttering as a fireman runs inside, following by a Paramedic. "I've got him," the Paramedic announces before the fireman helps the others free Caleb and Carl. Marcus and Connor carry Georgia out of the office, but Connor pauses. "Can you smell that?" Connor asks, and Marcus cranes his neck, sniffing. "What is it?" "Smoke," Connor says, peeping back into the office to see a small electrical fire. He looks over at the opposite corner of the room, and sees several boxes of fire works, stacked up, intended for the party. "Fireworks!" He shouts. "Everybody out!" As Marcus and Connor carry Georgia towards the doorway, the paramedic carries James and Peter, Glenn, Chris, Tommy, Ellie, Jayden, Sam and the fireman all help pull Carl and Caleb out. "I can manage," Carl states, climbing to his feet and limping. "Everybody out now!" The fireman screams as the fire grows. The paramedic, James and Marcus manage to make it outside before there is a loud explosion, causing more rubble to fall onto the doorway. As everybody outside and inside desperately tries to remove the rubble, Carl steps back, looking up at the ceiling, which is about to collapse. "Hurry!" He shouts. The doorway is cleared, and everybody rushes outside. Jayden turns around to see Carl nervously staring at the ceiling. "C'mon, Carl!" He shouts, and Carl begins to limp towards the doorway as fast as he can, however another pile of debris covers the doorway. "Carl!" Jayden screams as more people try to clear it. Jayden manages to clear a peephole, but can't move a big beam that is covering the doorway. "Don't move, Carl, alright? The fireman are going to get in, a'right?" "Yeah, sure," Carl calls back nervously. He coughs and splutters before looking up at the ceiling. "Jay, remember when you was five and we want to the beach?" "Yeah..." "And you went swimming in the sea and you swam too far out and got stuck?" "Yeah, and I thought I was gonna die?" "Yeah, and then I swam out and..." "Saved me." "Yeah, and I promised that, until you didn't need me anymore, I'd always be by your side?" Carl says, fighting back tears, as Jayden nods. "Yeah." "I guess you don't need me no more." As Jayden asks what he means, there is a loud creaking. Carl looks up at the ceiling again, tears rolling down his cheeks. "I'll always be by your side," he gulps as the ceiling collapses and the screen fades to black as Jayden's screams echo...

It has been announced that Ellie Murphy's (Lacey Turner) former pimp Ryan (Tom Chambers).

Viewers will know that back in June 2014, Ellie started dating Ryan after meeting him in a nightclub. Ryan then began to force Ellie into sleeping with men, and one of the men she slept with was her neighbour, Jay Ellis (Adam Thomas), who was unaware what was happening. Jay and Ellie then entered into a secret relationship, however when Ryan found it, he locked Ellie and Jay into the flat above the Launderette (where he had moved into) and set it on fire. Chris (Jason Statham) broke into the flat to save them.

Ryan then pulled Ellie's sister Georgia (Jacqueline Jossa) into his car, and attempted to abduct her, but Georgia's then boyfriend Tyler saved her.

Ryan was last seen setting his car on fire before being arrested by the Police.

But now, he is returning for one episode, which will see Ellie visit her former pimp in prison. Speaking of his return, Chambers said: "Ryan will still try and manipulate her. He'll be sending her lots of visit requests, and she will eventually give in and visit him. When this happens, he thinks he can still control her, and begins to mess with her head."

Ryan's return will be in mid-January, and is only for one episode.

There have been some mistakes in recent episodes - the Murphy's flat has been stated as 3c Woodchurch Square, when it is in fact 16c (Jayden + Dale's flat is 3c).

Also, some characters were at school during what would be the Christmas holidays - this is because of some Booster Sessions, however this was not mentioned.

THREE NEW CHARACTERS FOR WOODCHURCH!

Digital Spy TV soap opera 'Woodchurch' will be receiving a few more cast members.

Recurring policeman PC Ciaran Roscoe (played by Alex Walkinshaw) will be promoted to a regular from the next episode.

The next episode will also see the introduction of a family member for Ciaran, followed by the arrival of some more of his family members in January!

Callum 'Cal' Roscoe, played by Casualty's Richard Winsor, will be arriving in the next episode.

Billed as a flirty, confident 27 year-old, Cal will take an interest in Lauren Murphy, further complicating the Nate/Lauren/Joe/Katy storyline! Cal will be working at the hospital as a Registrar.

Ciaran and Cal's brothers will also be joining over January.

Dean Roscoe, played by Olly Murs, is the 31 year-old second Roscoe sibling. Billed as a cheeky guy, Dean is set to ruffle a few feathers after his arrival when he begins to flirt with newly-single Ellie, which will annoy Ellie's ex-boyfriend Tommy (Ayden Callaghan), whom is desperate for a reunion between the pair. Dean will be a PE teacher at the college.

Joel Roscoe, played by Matt Di Angelo, is the 27 year-old twin of Cal. Having been abused by their father as a child, Joel is slightly messed up, and will take an interest in another resident who shall be joining shortly but is being kept a secret. Joel is a mechanic.

• It is the day after Christmas Day, and the destruction of the day before is still having effects on the entire Square. The episode begins with a shot of Number 3c Woodchurch Square, the Campbell's flat. Family photos consisting of Carl, Dale and Jayden are shown as Jayden Campbell looks at them, his cheeks stained with tears. Dale Campbell stands in the doorway of the kitchen in his boxers, watching his brother quietly.

• The scene then cuts to the hospital, where Connor Ellis is sat in Georgia Murphy's hospital room as she sleeps peacefully. Tommy Ellis enters, followed by Ellie Murphy. "Hey, Connor..." Tommy whispers as Ellie kisses Georgia's forehead. Tommy is in a patients' gown, having been admitted to hospital the night before with some wounds from the crash, mainly cuts and bruises. "How is she?" Ellie asks, and Connor sighs. "No change. She slept all night. The nurse said we should probably wake her up, but y'know how she is when you interrupt her sleep," Connor says, and Ellie smiles. "Yeah." "How's Danielle?" Connor asks, and Ellie nods. "Yeah, they're all good. Lauren's probably worst-off, to be fair. She thought she'd watched her little sister get blown to bits," Ellie frowns. Connor nods. Georgia stirs, and Connor smiles, squeezing her hand. "Hey, beautiful," Connor whispers. Georgia looks around to see Ellie and Tommy smiling at her. "El..." "I don't want to talk about yesterday, Georg. Let's just forget it and move on, yeah?" "Yeah. At least everybody's alright now," Georgia says, the room is silent. A confused Georgia stares at the trio's sad facial expressions. "What's... what's wrong? Is it Aiden? Oh God, is Aiden OK?" Georgia asks, and Connor rubs her hand. "Babe, it's not Aiden. He's fine. Unresponsive, but stable." "Then what is it?" "It's, erm... Carl, he didn't make it," Connor says, and Georgia gasps. "He's... he's dead?" Georgia asks, and Connor nods. Tommy and Ellie remain silent. "I feel sick," Georgia announces. Tommy passes her the cardboard sick-bowl, and she is sick into it. "This is all my fault," Georgia whispers, tears running down her face. "No, no it's not," Tommy insists. "It is. It's my fault. Everything. The crash, Carl's death... Aiden." Connor sighs. "It's not your fault, George," Ellie says. "It's... it was just an accident, OK? A tragic, disgusting accident that should never have happened but it did, and nothing's going to change that alright?" Georgia nods, and Ellie sits down on the bed next to her, pulling her into a hug.

• James Windsor is stood outside of 'After Life', which is cordoned off. He is looking at a massive bunch of flowers and cards, which is a tribute to Carl Campbell, who died the night before. James - a survivor of the crash which killed Carl - begins to feel guilty. "You feeling guilty too, mate?" An Australian voice asks, and James turns to see Caleb Mercer, another survivor who was trapped with Carl and James. "Maybe just a little," James says, scratching the back of his head. "Just a little?" Caleb asks, and James shakes his head. "A lot. That could've been me, or you, or Georgia, or Joe or Katy or anybody. If we were just a little bit faster, maybe..." "Maybe it would've collapsed quicker and killed more of us," Caleb interrupts, and James nods in agreement. "Yeah, I guess you're right," he says.

• Ada and Connie Hardacre are sat next to Michelle's hospital bed. She is still unresponsive. "Come on, Michelle. Just wake up," Connie pleads. Ada rubs her eyes, having stayed there all night. "Do you want another coffee?" Ada asks, and Connie nods. "Please," she says. Ada leaves to get her a coffee from the vending machine. Michelle stirs slightly, and Connie grins. "Michelle!" She smiles as Michelle opens her eyes. "Wha... what happened? Where am I?" Michelle panics. "Don't worry, Michelle, it's me." Connie rubs Michelle's hand as Ada enters again, grinning. "Mum!" She grins, putting the coffees down on the table. She kisses Michelle's head, and Michelle winces in pain. "Were you hurt in the explosion?" Connie asks, and Michelle frowns. "What? What explosion?" Michelle asks, and Ada pouts. "Mum, what happened? Didn't you get hit by Connor's car?" Michelle shakes her head slightly. "What happened then?" Connie asks. "Somebody... somebody mugged me..." Michelle whispers, as Connie recoils in horror...

• Meanwhile, in the hospital Accident + Emergency department, nurse Lauren Murphy is filling in some paperwork when her boyfriend, Nate Mercer, strolls over to her, grinning. "What the hell are you doing here?" Lauren asks, looking around as Nate kisses her. "Couldn't resist seeing your beautiful face," he says, pulling her into an embrace, however Lauren pushes him away. "I'm at work, Nate," Lauren says, and Nate sighs. "Right, well, how about we do something later?" Nate suggests, and Lauren grins. "Like what?" Lauren asks, and Nate smirks. "Ooh, I dunno, I'll have to have a little think," he flirts, kissing her passionately before leaving. As Nate leaves, a Registrar walks past her, checking her out as he walks past... Callum 'Cal' Roscoe.

• Jayden enters the mortuary, followed by Dale. A woman allows them into a room, where a body is covered up. A man pulls back the cover, and Jayden gasps, tears forming in his eyes as Carl's dead, lifeless body lies on the bed. Jayden covers his mouth with his hand, now crying, whilst a tearful Dale rubs his brothers' shoulder. "Come on, lets get you home..." Dale says, leading Jayden out of the room as the man covers Carl's body again, for the final time...

• "I'm just going to go an' visit Aiden, alright?" Tommy says, standing up and leaving. "Listen, El..." Georgia whispers, and Ellie sighs. "Georgia, I've already told you, I don't want to talk about last night..." "No, no, it's not about last night," Georgia says. "It's... it's about Tommy..." Georgia whispers. Ellie sighs. "Look, what happened, it was a mistake. He kissed me, and I stopped him - well, we both contributed. The thing is, nothing would've happened. It was just a stupid, drunken kiss," Georgia says, and Ellie sighs. "Alright, alright. But it doesn't mean I'm just going to get back with him; he still kissed you, Georg, and I can't just forget that." "Ain't you being a bit unfair, El?" Georgia asks. "I mean, think about the amount of affairs you've had..." Ellie sighs again, thinking about Georgia's words...

• Meanwhile, back out in the A+E reception, Lauren is exiting a cubicle when Marcus Wood rushes over to her. "Georgia!" He calls, and Lauren turns to face him. "Yup?" "Should you really be in work so soon? I mean, you almost died yesterday," Marcus says, and Lauren sighs. "The same thing could be said for you!" Lauren states, and Marcus sighs. "The A+E needed me," Marcus says, and Lauren nods. "Exactly," she says. Marcus sighs. He walks away as Cal Roscoe strolls over to her. "You look rough," Cal states, signalling to the cuts all over Lauren's face. "Get caught up in a car crash and explosion and tell me you don't look rough," Lauren retorts, and Cal chuckles. "Good Christmas, then?" "Far from it," Lauren snaps.

• In Aiden's hospital room, Tommy is speaking to an comatose Aiden when Ellie enters. "Tommy?" She asks, and Tommy sighs. "What?" He asks, and Ellie smiles softly. "Can I speak to you outside?" "No, I'm talking to my brother," Tommy states. "Please, Tommy. I'll be quick," she promises, and Tommy sighs, rubbing Aiden's pale hand before leaving the hospital room. "What is it?" Tommy asks, and is shocked when Ellie kisses him passionately. "I'm sorry," she whispers. "I should've trusted you and I know you would've stopped that kiss with Georgia." Tommy kisses her again as Ellie wraps her arms around his waist. "So this means I'm forgiven?" Tommy asks, and Ellie smirks.

• Meanwhile, PC Ciaran Roscoe enters Georgia's hospital room and smiles at her. "Hi, Georgia," Ciaran smiles. "How are you feeling?" "Like I've been in a car crash(!)" Georgia retorts, and Ciaran smiles softly. "Are you OK to make your statement?" Ciaran asks, and Georgia nods. "May as well," she states. As Ciaran sits on the end of Georgia's hospital bed, Georgia begins to tell Ciaran everything...

• Back at the Campbells' flat, Number 3c, Dale is stirring two cups of tea when he hears a loud bang from upstairs. He pauses, listening, and there is another loud bang. "Jayden?!" Dale calls as he rushes upstairs to find Jayden, crouching on the floor by his wardrobe, his head in his hands as he cries hysterically. Dale looks around to see Jayden's room a mess; drawers, Jayden's TV and PS4 and other things thrown out on the floor. "Hey. Hey, come here," Dale says sympathetically, pulling his brother into a hug as Jayden continues to cry...

• Ciaran leaves Georgia's hospital room, having finished taking her statement. Ciaran strolls over to Lauren, who is stood at the reception desk. "Georgia's just given her statement," Ciaran says, and Lauren thanks him. "Alright, bruv?" A voice says from behind, and Ciaran turns to see Cal... his brother. Ciaran recoils in horror as he stares at his smirking brother. Ciaran swings his fist, hitting Cal in the face. Cal recoils, clutching his nose. "Ciaran!" Lauren squeals, pulling Ciaran away from Cal, who is rubbing his bloody nose. "Stay away from me..." Ciaran orders, and as Ciaran leaves, Lauren grabs Cal's arm. "C'mon, I'll clean your nose up for you in Cubicle 6," Lauren states, but Cal doesn't move. Instead, he watches his brother walk away as blood trickles down his lip...

After seeing Ciaran, who ignores him, Cal explains to Lauren why Ciaran hates him; Cal slept with Ciaran's wife, Abi, and got her pregnant. She said it was Ciaran's child, but told the truth when she miscarried. Cal then remarks that Lauren is beautiful, before kissing her, and the pair passionately kiss. (Cliffhanger)

Dale is shocked when Jayden wakes up at 1pm. Dale accidentally makes a remark about Jayden smoking, claiming it will kill him, and Jayden lashes out, before storming outside. Dale attempts to apologise, and Jayden tells him to save it - he doesn't want to hear it.

Greg gives Cheryl a scare when he speaks to her whilst she is deep-in-thought in the kitchen of the cafe. As she stares at her reflection in her cracked phone screen, it is clear that something is bothering her.

Elsewhere, Connor plans to propose to an oblivious Georgia.

Meanwhile, Georgia is released from hospital. She receives a text from Cheryl, and goes to her grandmothers' house. There, she is shocked to come face-to-face with her ex-boyfriend - Tyler Evans.

Lauren is feeling guilty after her night of passion with Cal. Lauren gets changed quickly, telling Cal it shouldn't have happened, but Cal insists it was just a bit of fun, and if Lauren was so against it she wouldn't have slept with him on Friday AND Sunday night. Lauren says she was drunk, but as Cal pulls his boxers on, Nathan enters the flat. Lauren forces Cal to climb out of the window in his boxers, and Lauren distracts Nathan by flirting and then kissing him. Nathan offers for them to do something together, and Lauren accepts, trying to buy Cal some time. Lauren then enters the bedroom to see Cal is still there. Lauren lashes out at him, calling him "stupid" for taking that risk, claiming that Nathan could have wanted to get changed. Cal says it is fine, before kissing Lauren, and the pair fall back onto her bed, where they have sex again...

Connor berates Georgia for not telling him of Tyler's return, and Georgia says she didn't think it would be important. Connor begins to grow jealous when Tyler keeps on staring at Georgia, so Georgia passionately kisses Connor in front of Tyler.

Dale finds Jayden in the Square looking at pictures of Carl at Christmas. Tearful, Jayden states that Christmas was Carl's favourite time, so why was he taken away on Christmas? Dale says everything happens for a reason. As Dale comforts Jayden, he breaks down in tears, telling Dale that after the funeral he's leaving the Square. Jayden then heads to work randomly, and Tommy finds him. Asking him why he is working on his day off, Jayden says he needs to keep busy. Ellie enters and kisses Tommy, telling Tommy he left his phone. Clearly off-put by Ellie and Tommy's display of affection, Jayden looks away from the couple - but when Tommy turns around, Jayden is strangely missing! Dale finds him stood outside of 'After Life', staring at the wreckage. Jayden breaks down in Dale's arms...

In the pub, Sofia asks how Michaela's treatment is going (accidentally almost using the word 'cancer'). Michaela says that Sofia CAN say the word cancer. "Loads of people have it. It's not like it's an extremely rare disease that cannot be cured." Sofia asks if that means it is not terminal, and Michaela goes quiet, instead insisting on buying Sofia another orange juice, despite her already having a full glass. Sofia then receives a phone call, and answers it. It clearly pleases her. Sofia then returns to Michaela, and the pair continue to drink. However Sofia suggests they go home as Sofia has work. Sofia walks Michaela home, before leaving. As Michaela puts her keys into the door, she hears something inside. She opens the door before pulling out some paper spray and sneaking into the living room, where she is shocked to see her son, Dylan Hassan... (Cliffhanger)

Several more stars are set to be departing the soap.

As well as Meera Syal's permanent departure from long-standing character Michaela Hassan, two other characters are taking a temporary departure, whilst several more are leaving for good!

Jayden and Dale Campbell, played by Cameron Moore and Nick Rhys, will be departing for six months in January, returning in June 2016.

Bronagh Waugh has quit her role as Saskia Fisher after six years in the role. Saskia first appeared in February 2010, and has been causing trouble ever since! Saskia's storylines include finding a lump in her breast.

There is also three more UNANNOUNCED departures coming up!

It is the next morning, and Dylan is still refusing to tell his shocked mother why he is on the Square. After nagging all morning, Michaela finally gets the result she was after when an annoyed Dylan reveals Sofia called him. Michaela questions Sofia, who apologises, claiming that she felt Michaela needed something positive. Michaela thanks her, which shocks Sofia, and later offers for the three of them to go to the pub.

Tommy suggests to Ellie that he takes the day off work, and the couple spend the morning in bed. After their morning of passion, Ellie begins to feel unwell, and rushes to the toilet. Georgia overhears, and suggests Ellie take a pregnancy test. Ellie does, and the result come back positive. Ellie is shocked to the core, and confides in best friend Crystal. Crystal convinces Ellie to tell Tommy, and she does - leaving Tommy shocked!

Blake and Mia go baby shopping, however Blake receives a call from an employer he has been trying to get a job from. Blake apologises to Mia, saying that he's got a last-minute interview. He kisses Mia passionately before rushing off, leaving Mia annoyed. Riley notices this, and asks if she is OK. She says she's fine, but after a chat in the park, Mia breaks down, and reveals that she's feeling guilty. Riley then kisses Mia, before apologising, however the pair kiss again. They kiss passionately for a third time before Riley offers Mia his hand, and they head back to his...

Connor and Georgia are in bed together when they are shocked by a knock at the door. Connor gets dressed and answers it to find Police outside. The Police announce they are arresting him for dangerous driving, before taking him away in a police car as Georgia watches... (Cliffhanger!)
