Chris has said tonight that in his opinion Lady C went too far with her insults towards Tony and that he (Chris) could see Tony deflate or words to that effect. That mirrors what Yvette said last night on her exit.

Just how vile is Lady C being to Tony and/or Duncan that we have not seen, and which must have been edited out.

Even Ant said tonight that in his opinion, she goes to far.

Btw, I'm not a particular fan of Tony or Duncan

But like I said on another thread, we KNOW Lady C was hurtful to Tony. We saw it! I don't understand why suddenly everyone is convinced there is a "hidden comment" she made that didn't make it onto the edit. Okay, so Yvette hinted that some of the stuff she said wasn't shown. But Chris didn't - he just stated she was hurtful, and that he was offended. Enough of what we saw on the show on Saturday night justifies that statement.

I'm just watching on plus one now.
Last night Yvette mentioned Lady C talking about Tony's children I can't remember what word Yvette used but when she said it it was clear that it had been personal and unkind remarks about his kids

But to be honest, I think there was more to it than that, and that Lady C has said further hurtful things to Tony that haven't been broadcast. That's just my opinion going on what Yvette and Chris have said on their exit interviews. Chris seemed really shocked when he was talking about it.

Chris didn't say nor imply anything as such, he was speaking in general about that big argument EVERYONE saw.

Well to be fair Lady C spends a LOT of her time insulting people (for which I love her), they probably can't fit all her insults into the edit!

I think Chris was just talking about what we, the world and his wife have already been privy to (which is admittedly horrible). Nothing more!

I'm pretty sure they've had worse insults thrown at them than what Lady C has said.
Only difference is, Lady C has done it in public on a TV show in front of millions.

Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion, he did imply there was more to that insult. I cannot believe how some are making light of the 'known' insult to Tony which was to say his kids should be ashamed of him. That in itself is bad enough, but I think she uttered worse. Just my OPINION.

Lady C can probably say things to others, because she has nothing to lose, whereas rest of the celebs have to be careful what they say in case they lose their next role. Purple doesn't fall into the next job category as he has enough money already and could make more easily.

I am baffled as to why anyone would love someone for insulting people . I love people who are kind and good to others ?

Did he? He seemed pretty nonplussed to me.

And if it was so shocking, would he still have referred to her in the extremely positive way he did before Ant and Dec brought up some of her comments?

I like my friends to have those attributes. However, 'kind' and 'good' are not the adjectives generally associated with an entertaining reality show contestant!

We saw some of it. I think it wen on much longer - Yvettes outburst appeared to come out of nowhere from the edit - in her interview with PM she said that row went on for a long time. I don't think there was one hidden comment - I think there was a whole diatribe.

it's clear we only see a very small/edited segment in the highlights - I'm not sure why people are saying there's no more to it than that. Do they assume Lady C just shuts up once she's said her allotted edit?

It appears so. I do wonder at the age of some of Lady C fan club.

I'm with you entirely on that. It's been very strange this year on this forum. People are despised for displaying perfectly normal emotions and reactions, whilst absolute horrors are applauded and defended.

Maybe someone's put something in the water?

However, it remains the case that we don't know which of Lady C's words Yvette or Chris had in mind when they made their own comments.

They may both have been thinking of the same thing, or they may each have been thinking of something different.

They may each/both have been thinking of something which has already been broadcast or they may each/both have been thinking of something which hasn't (yet) been broadcast.

We don't know. Yvette has said that she can't elaborate further, Chris hasn't yet had the chance to say anything else.

As for Ant's remarks, I've commented on the thread about that. I agree with the view that his statement was probably inspired by the producers, and was certainly sanctioned by them. It was scripted, and said for a reason.

It might also be his personal view (or it might not).

Well Chris said he was hurt for Tony but had advised him to stay out of it. Now Tony said Lady C was no lady, and Lady C said Tony was no Singer. Tit for Tat I would say. Tony and Duncan started all the animosity towards Lady C from the beginning, without provocation from her.

BIB - If it hasn't already been broadcast, then it hasn't been broadcast for a reason and it never will be broadcast.

Let's take a step back. Until we know exactly what words Yvette was thinking of, and exactly what words Chris was thinking of, everything else is speculation.

A lot of the comment on the forum hasn't been accurate about what has actually been broadcast - e.g what Tony (mainly) and Chris were shown saying when they ranked their campmates in terms of 'who does least about camp'.

If the comments can be so wrong about things which have been broadcast, and are verifiable, I'd hesitate to be dogmatic about anything else.

I agree.I have even seen people comment as if it is a fact what people have said could have been said!
