I agree. I find it hard to think of an operation more serious than that to deal with an abdominal aortic aneurysm. I think Terry needs to prepare himself.

We have a friend who had a similar problem, a few years ago, he was lucky to survive as "everything shut down" he still lost a leg and a kidney, but is now in reasonable health.

My Dad too alas. He had some extraordinary surgery to replace the aortic route to the kidneys with a titanium pipe. It gave him 3 more years but eventually the join was subject to an infection and that was it.

I hope your friend fares better and Brucie too.

Poor Sir Bruce will be missed on the Christmas Show, but we all wish him a speedy recovery from his recent op so we can see him again next year.

As much as I wish him a speedy recovery, I am glad he is not on the show. It was time to leave, he had become cringe worthy and embarrassing, Claudia and Tess work well and have increased the fun element nicely.
Bruce has done and achieved much in his long career, time to leave it at that.

I don't think it's fair on Claudia that Bruce takes her place for CIN & the Xmas Specials.”

I totally agree with you.

I personally hope he isn't.

On the show I mean, not fighting fit, I like Brucie and wish him well.

I'm a Sir Brucie fan too, it was great to hear from Brucie in his two messages on The Christmas Show, it was a nice touch from the producers and one that the viewers at home like me much appreciated, get well soon Brucie, next years Children & Need and Chrismas Show needs you.

Please can we let Sir Bruce retire gracefully. He retired when he was in good health for his age. Since then he has had a serious illness which, despite his previous strength will have taken its toll. If you think he looked well in that recorded section for the Christmas show, you're either watching in black and white with no aerial or are sadly deluded.

I think it's cruel to expect someone of his age come back to work, when he doesn't have or want to; let him retire and spend time with his family, Strictly is just fine without him.
