I don't have a box connected to the telly, I just use the iPad app or my computer. But I've used it a reasonable amount over the last 12 months. I bought a couple of week passes and a month pass to cover the Ashes cricket last summer, then was tempted to buy a week pass when Stokes hit that mammoth 250 in January (so I could watch the highlights and then the conclusion of that test match), I bought a day pass as Broad was ripping through the South Africans in the third test to see the conclusion of the match, and then a day pass for yesterday's final.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are others like me who use it to dip in and out of Sky's coverage. I think it's wonderful, as in my current domestic circumstances I would not be in the position to purchase a Sky subscription, but I am very happy to splash out on one of the Now TV passes (day, week or month) as circumstances dictate and it allows me to watch a bit of live cricket, which I was denied between the end of the 2005 Ashes and the 2013 season.

The ratings for the final are a bit higher than thought - ITV Media is reporting 1,123,000 - reason for difference may be because ITV Media is reporting a 2pm programme start (whereas I thought it was meant to be 1.30pm?).

Anyway it's interesting to note how the cricket did against Sky's other sport:

ICC World T20 Final (2pm) - 1,123,000 (8.3%)
Super Sunday - Leicester/Southampton (12.30pm) - 955,000 (10.6%)
Super Sunday - Man Utd/Everton (3.30pm) - 843,000 (5.6%)
Bahrain Grand Prix (3.30pm) - 605,000 (4.1%)

From 3.30pm to 6.30pm all 3 events were running simultaneously (ie T20, Man Utd/Everton and F1) - thus for those 3 hours the combined total average audience would have been a bit above 2.6m (given the cricket would have rated higher post 3.30pm than its overall average).

Would be interesting to see a peak figure - given that the cricket ended (with the dramatic final over) after both the PL and F1 had finished.

It would be, spoke to many people at work today who aren't interested in cricket who either watched the last over or last few overs.

It was definitely a 1.30pm programme start - ITV Media are clearly wrong about the start time of the slot.

I believe originally Sky had the programme to start at 2pm but that was prior to England confirming their place so it was then extended to an hours build up.

In real life? But on here you have now! Via app on an LG set. Not subbing right now as the WC's over, wait now until the real season kicks in.

I'd like to know how many are actually Now at any given time and how they are accessing it?

Not a huge fan of the new IPL graphics far too much information displayed that can distract you from the action

Looks like they've nicked the display and graphics from a first person shooter on the Playstation or Xbox!!

Horrible.

not liking them at all , considering they look so busy one of the key pieces of info, how many overs have been bowled, isn't shown

Good picture and with commentary too Looks like the same company that provide the coverage at Trent Bridge. Maybe they could pull the camera back a wee bit to show more of the outfield; but it's excellent that you can see it alongside a scoreboard. A+!!

Going back to Cricket, has Rob Key retired, as if he is still playing shouldn't he be getting ready for the season, rather than working for Sky.

Rob is good, and would love to see him more during there coverage, throughout the summer
Rob announced his retirement today. Aged 36.
I hope sky now promote him to the international roster.

Key is clearly the best they have outside of the Test team. Not sure there is a spot right now but if Holding doesn't renew his contract then Key is next in line for me. The big question is does Key jump over Knight to get a Test spot?

Without question in my opinion, although Knight must have his fans. He's done a few tests but in recent years has been pigeon holed as a one day specialist

He'd need a powerful trampoline.

It's a joke, calm down, calm down.......

Is there room for another voice on the test coverage? Not so sure. Domestic for now surely?

Font on IPL graphics appears to have changed slightly to make them much more readable.

Not sure when change was made - I noticed it yesterday but hadn't seen any IPL for several days so it may have happened earlier.

Shame Rob Key has retired but he is a good commentator.

I can't see him breaking into the Main Test Comm Team, but if a Commentator can't do a test for any reason, I'm guessing he would be the next call.

Can see him doing a lot of the County games, I'd be surprised if he didn't cover there first Game a week on Sunday, it's getting close now.
