What a selfish comment?

Not that I am surprised, I remember when the opposite happened years ago and cricket over an into the start of NFL. The NFL fans were spewing.

Get over it. Live sport is unpredictable, it happens.
The ENGLISH cricket
The AMERICAN Football

Its not selfish ???

All I would say on this is, why risk the 2 live sports they had overlapping. They have 5 channels.

Oh and what was NFL doing on 2 anyhow. It's the cricket channel

They have 5 channels and the cricket was on 2 of them in the schedule but nobody thought to record SS4 just in case did they ?

Of course Darren, it's my silly fault that I didn't think to look for the cricket on sky sports 4, in addition to my series link on sky sports 2.

If at the end of play yesterday, on there graphic they said Cricket Monday 24 October 4.45am, Sky Sports 2, And underneath they said Sky Sports 4, then people would have recorded both.

Why would anybody had randomly recorded Sky Sports 4

I never said it was your fault, stop acting like a kid. You questioned why, when they have 5 channels, it over ran. I simply answered that they did think of that by putting it on two channels. Of course that doesnt help series link but they did come up with a solution and an answer to your question. The chances of the NFL game needing overtime and the test going into a 5th day were slim but it did happen.

I feel for those who had series link set up but live sport can often over run, ask Eastenders fans during Wimbledon fortnight

I guess if it hadn't been such a vital ending to the Test Match there wouldnt be anybody moaning.

Sky Actually have 6 Sports Channels, if you include MIx

You have two options

Moan about it and let it ruin your day

or

Move on and forget it, far worse things happen in life

I did not see any sky sports4 mention of cricket. England cricket is always on skysport2, especially the very last session of what could have been the closest test of all time (and how they still milk the 2005 close finish). So when i'm finding sky sports rather expensive because of my current financial circumstances but love my cricket i expect Sky to deliver something far better. I was fuming when i got up 7.30am and found myself fast forwarding through nfl to eventually find the last 3 balls of the Test match had recorded.

Anyone who recorded NFL would have expected it to become cricket at 4.45am. Anyone watching NFL at 4.45am could have been asked to change channel. And anyone at sky sports who even scheduled such a clash should be sacked. For the first time ever i am going to write a complaint (i think i must be getting old, oh well). Anyone know the sky(sports) email address most likely to get me a response?

Reminds me of the time my dear old mum recorded 3 hours of ceefax and music for me instead of the cricket.

I can quite understand how fed up you would be if you had set 'record' only to be let down by a channel change.

It is not Xenophobic to expect to see your own cricket team in your own country on TV

I'm looking forward to seeing how ITV drag out the play today for a hour with no on screen presenters!

Perhaps they could show classic IPL (It's the kind of thing sky would do)

The Verdict was just half an hour, I guess not much they could really discuss.

I guess all in all the nature of how the day panned out didn't help Sky.

If England had got 2 wickets in the first 2 balls today, the NFL fans would be moaning about it being put behind the red button or Moved to SS4, when the cricket could have been over in 2 balls.

Obviously regarding the Verdict, there wasn't enough highlghts to fill an hour, and not much to discuss on a hour long Verdict.

Maybe in the sub continent they need to start half an hour early, cause it always tends to get dark 5 minutes after play is ended/

Your life is cricket. Your twitter shows that. Nothing else matters in your life and therefore you cannot handle it when anybody dare come up with, a perfectly reasonable, reason why cricket may not be the most important thing in the world.

I shall now do what I should have done long ago and block you. You are a prime example of a first world problems man.
