My own original music
A bit of a bio:
I'm just testing the water here for my own original music and what people think. I'm Stu, I am an electronic artist whom makes dance, electro, techno and the occasional drum and bass. I go under the name under the band name "U Exe.Dist" I have been making music since 1998, but have not started publicising myself until last year, when I started a youtube channel. I have played trombone and keyboards for nearly two decades and keep making creative original sound scape's using a range of different instruments and synths. I specialise in 80's sounding music, but do make newer sounding tracks. I have taken inspiration over the years from Jean Michele jarre, vangelis, daft punk, Gary Numan and many more electronic and new wave artists. I mainly make sequenced pieces, but do record my many instruments; keyboards, accordion and bass to name a few. I make dark and mysterious sound scapes, songs to make people wonder what's around the next corner. People have shown an interest in my music before and have a small following. All instruments are my own physical and virtual, I produce my music for fun not monetary value. I own all copyrights and collaborations are welcome (we can send files if necessary) If this is acceptable to make this suggestion on this forum and people don't like it I will remove this, just comment below.. I just thought I would post here so people can get a feel for the music I produce and hopefully get some feedback. Thank you for your input I need it to continue my hobby and my passion, music! Thank you for looking. Stu Links: Unchained ExeDists page The song everyone seems to like that gives a feel for the music I make: Dystopian Peace |

I listened to the Dystopian Peace tune.
I would get a little more utopian and psychedelic. I like Lazerhawk, found them(him) by accident but it works. http://youtu.be/39zKhsT5naI |

I like the synths at the end of dystopian peace. Listened to a few others that reminded me slightly of Tangerine Dream which is no bad thing. My one criticism would be that you don't seem to have a style you can call your own. That's the hardest thing to achieve in vocalless electronic music though. For instance Aphex Twin has a multitude of styles but you can always tell its him.
Not bad though. Keep it up |
