[quote=madetomeasure;80591764]Lol, his sweethearts letter made me laugh. He's so full of his own self-importance he can't see when he's being taken for a ride. Take away his millions and let's see if the beauty queen would still be sat on his knee. He really couldn't handle a mature, educated woman who wouldn't bow down to him.[/QUOTE Can you just see Nigora waiting for her Pokey Hat at his ice cream van in Clydebank and falling madly in love with him...No nor me...

That's how I saw it too, I think if I got up in the morning and found a pile of dirty dishes that had not been cleaned properly I would be peed off too, maybe it was a common occurrence and we have only been shown one incident of it.

As I said earlier I am sure on other series they have had a box to keep all the eating utensils and food stuffs in, maybe they don't this time.

I will be first to agree that Lady C has been dreadful with her language and insults but Duncan and Tony are far from blameless. Duncan truly is an old goat as she said, just look at the rude way he woke Fearne and the way he talked about her and George. I think Tony's downfall with her was at the very beginning when him and Duncan put her and all the other women at the bottom in the hardest working task. This was very chauvinistic. Lady C had done the eating task with Jorgie and acquitted herself well but saying she was one of the least hard working annoyed her after they had "stuffed their gullets" with the food they won. I don't think she ever forgave this and was why she refused to do anything else. Also what did he expect, her to carry the wood and stuff like that? She in her sixties for goodness sake. I think all three of them have behaved like idiots considering they are the older ones in camp and have been a terrible example to the younger ones. She would try the patience of a saint but all I am saying is it is not all one sided

Wasn't it Tony and Chris who put Lady C bottom of the lazy list?

They've both got a madonna complex. Any woman who acts in an independent way, and doesn't pat them on the head and smile, is automatically an unpleasant and threatening creature whom they have to either 'correct' or expel from their presence. They're still really 14 year old kids emotionally.

Yes they had a large metal trunk to put their pots and pans in along with the rice and beans in previous years. They had to keep things clean or the camp would have lots of extra visitors!

If you call putting one harmless beetle claiming it to be vermin on the fire tidying up then yes, but funny she didn't seem to mind a mouse which actually is vermin crawling all over the food pots.

I seem to remember her going round the camp whos clothes belonged to whoever tidying up in camp.. Tony sweeping leaves was a joke, he must have been missing his hoover.

Oops yes you're right It seems so long ago now . Chris made his peace with her but I still believe this is what set Lady C against Tony,

The trouble with them, apart from being chauvinistic and patronising with the women, is their lack of humour, unless they are trying to be funny. Fearne giggled at Lady C when she was revving up and it defused it, they start posturing. They both knew how to wind her up and set her off, to make her look bad.

The younger camp mates could banter with her but she never got cross with them or called them names. She said a number of times they needed the exposure, and had a lot more respect for them.

There was something about whatever Tony and Duncan said or did that was like a red rag to a bull, and that is what I would like to know.

I think it was because whatever she said they had to make some comment or other, for example when Lady C was talking to Ferne about the trial was there any need for Tony to tell Lady C what she should be saying thus causing an argument. Tony especially goaded her for all he was worth and didn't like it when she gave it back - good for her.

Strange how everyone except Tony and Duncan were sad she had gone!

Absolutely, they were so desperate to high five one another, I'd have thought better of them had they done so to be honest lol

..........”

Well there we differ.

I think Ferne was having second thoughts about doing the trial, and I got the impression that Lady C was going to tell her that if she didn't think she could do it - to refuse to like she did. Tony was quite right to close down the negative vibe that lady C was about to lay on an already nervous Ferne.

People doing the trials need lots of encouragement before they set off, and a positive mental attitude - not be told to just walk away. Fair enough if Lady C doesn't want to earn food for the group - but she has no right to stop or discourage the others from doing so.

Tony was being positive and encouraging towards Ferne and her trial, and Lady C didn't like him for standing up to her.
