I Don't Blame Scott
I probably would have done the same. He did not see victory in sight after a couple of dodgy weeks and thought 'I am on to a looser, I have no chance of winning.' Not much of an incentive to just play the game, particularly if you felt your view of airing a grievance (last week with Brett) was steam rolled. Don't believe all the edits.

I could sense that he was losing interest in the process as the weeks went on. I really liked him early on, but all of his energy and happiness seemed to seep away and he developed a really nasty attitude. Today's events didn't surprise me.

The way they talked to him was awful.

If he doesn't feel comfortable there he's right to leave, I didn't hear lord sugar calling him a waste of space like the article said. Did he really say that?

It was pretty cool tbh. Not the first time someone has walked out, but I can't remember anyone doing it in that style. If he had slagged Alan off it would have probably made it even cooler.

He seems like a lovely person and did himself proud by leaving at the right time.

Well maybe, maybe not. You can tell he was angry by the way he walked out. It weren't him just "leaving at the right time". He was genuinely offended at the way he was being treated.

He just seemed all over the place in this task, like his heart wasn't truly in it once it was decided that Vana and Richard would be doing the high end sales. I can't help but wonder whether he's got other issues going on.

I think Scott could sense that he was sinking and couldn't hack it with the stress, he appeared to be in some sort of anxious episode as he was completely unable to speak clearly or understandably on a number of cases in the task. At the start, on pet task for example, he was articulate and strong on sales but when under pressure, he crumbled. In fairness however, they must have closed a decent level of sales on the houses given their commission but the episode clearly focused on the negatives of both Brett and Scott's sales efforts. ,

Sounds like there were quite a lot of nasty comments to him that were cut out of the edit. He looked on the verge of tears a few times during the episode
. I think he has been very dignified with the way he handled his exit and on YF.

To be honest, I don't blame Scott for walking out. his performance was below par on the last couple of weeks but he's actually a nice guy who tries hard so I was surprised by the vitriolic display by Lord Sugar and Karren tonight. It was like they had a real personal problem with him. After basically being singled out to be told that he was lucky to be on the winning team it was no wonder that he decided not to stick around knowing he would be out of the door the moment his team lost. I thought he handled himself well. Fair play.

From a selfish point of view, I am sad that he's gone because he was such a gorgeous man to look at!

Scott/Brett's commission was on par with Selina/Joseph and Charline/Gary Quote:

I think Scott was a bit of a prima donna. When he walked out he failed to shake hands with the rest of the team just as he failed previously when "what's his name" was fired a couple of weeks back. Very bad form and quite ignorant!

He did get things wrong on this task and they were pointed out to him, just the same for everybody else. As has been pointed out, he had been a bit moody before then.

I agree. Its only a tv show. No one deserves to sit there eating shit. I don't recall the trio behind the desk being so nasty when Nick and Margaret were there.
Nick and Margaret brought class and integrity to the proceedings. Karen has shown that she is sadly lacking in both departments this series. |

I was disgusted with how Karen laid into him. The result had been called, the team had won, there was absolutely no need for that "Well you two did very well *to Richard and Vana* but you two *to Brett and Scott*, not so much". Honestly Karen was utterly horrible to him, and of course what with Karen being the "eyes and ears" of Sugar, that led to Sugar believing Scott was the second coming of the antichrist.
I don't blame Scott at all, I thought it was cool as hell the way he did it (not so much the part where he blanked Richard and Vana afterwards). Had I been on the receiving end of that I would have probably had a few choice words with Karen's name on them. |

I wish Scott had said something about how talking to him in that manner is not honourable.
