I was disgusted with how Karen laid into him. The result had been called, the team had won, there was absolutely no need for that "Well you two did very well *to Richard and Vana* but you two *to Brett and Scott*, not so much". Honestly Karen was utterly horrible to him, and of course what with Karen being the "eyes and ears" of Sugar, that led to Sugar believing Scott was the second coming of the antichrist.
I don't blame Scott at all, I thought it was cool as hell the way he did it (not so much the part where he blanked Richard and Vana afterwards). Had I been on the receiving end of that I would have probably had a few choice words with Karen's name on them. |

Yes it seems to have descended into panto territory now.
I wish Scott had said something about how talking to him in that manner is not honourable. ![]() |

I thought that was very unfair to Brett also, he did fine on the task. Not stellar, but fine.

I know a few people have commented that it was bad form on scott's part that he didn't talk to his teammates after he resigned. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think he was just so wound up by being laid into and then deciding to resign that he just wanted to get out of the building as fast as he could! I don't think it was an intentional slight, I just think the heightened emotion of the situation was probably more than he could bear.

To be honest as he was sitting in the boardroom i was thinking even ive had enough of Sugars wisecracks about him, i think i would have told Sugar to stuff his investment up his arse instead of having to sit there and listen to his wisecracks, it was a task just for this week for TV purposes, the winner isnt going to be selling property for Lord Sugar, so to sit there and have Sugar cracking stupid jokes just because he mentioned there is a chip shop near by annoyed me, Sugar talks about professionalism , i think Sugar should leave the wise cracks until he is away from the candidates. I hate the way everyone has to sit there and grovel to Sugar while he takes the piss out of them.
Going on The Apprentice these days is like selling your soul for a little bit of investment. Karen is starting to get on my nerves with the way she looks down her nose at people as well. |

She criticised Richard and Brett as well. Scott wasn't being singled out, he DID make those glaring mistakes.
These tasks are proxies for real business abilities. So while they may not encounter the exact scenario in real business, they will encounter similar ones. Eg somebody who has no experience at selling property should still know that you have to know the product. Brett had no trouble with that. |

It was pretty cool tbh. Not the first time someone has walked out, but I can't remember anyone doing it in that style. If he had slagged Alan off it would have probably made it even cooler.
That's why politicians are the way they are, they have to be likable by "everyone". That's why Stella *probably* isn't employed |

Scott confessed that he partially decided to go because of the harsh way Lord Sugar spoke to him about his performance in the task, suggesting that he had "pushed it just a little bit too far".
"I think maybe how he interacted with me and some of the comments he said, one after the other, it did impact my decision a bit," he said. "At that point I thought, 'If I'm feeling like this now, what would it be like if it was something he disagreed with in the business that I was doing?' And doing business should be fun and free. So I kind of thought, 'This isn't what I want any more – we're not a good fit'. |

Don't believe all the edits.

4. Richard and Vana's selection of biscuits and jam tarts She criticised others. What is wrong with that?Look, we're all for a sweet treat. But you might expect something a bit fancier than a cherry bakewell or a pink wafer bought on the fly from a supermarket if you're splashing out £1.4m on a flat. Mind you, it was better than nothing, as Karren noted: "There's no floorplan, no show flat. They're just a plate of biscuits." 7. Richard repeatedly mispronouncing the name of the developer until Karren had to step in Way to instil confidence, Rich! 10. Brett taking liberties with the view He showed some clients the lovely vista they would have from their apartment... until Karren revealed he was actually showing them the wrong window. (The right window faced onto a wall.) Not knowing the layout was bad enough, but not knowing the expected completion date, shows incompetence or at best disinterest. There's nothing special or specific to property about that sort of info. If selling a washing machine you would be expected to know the details, specification, and delivery date. |

I think Scott was a bit of a prima donna. When he walked out he failed to shake hands with the rest of the team just as he failed previously when "what's his name" was fired a couple of weeks back. Very bad form and quite ignorant!

I know they film every candidate getting into the car right at the start of filming the programmes. He'd calmed down by the time they did they bit in the car. His business - which he's now launched without Sugar - sounds very specialised and probably very lucrative, I reckon he did actually sit there when he was being slagged off and think '*I* don't want *you* as a business partner'! |

Remember they have to edit what could be a couple of hours boardroom into 20 - 30 minutes. You could tell they weren't expecting this as the camera angles are unusual at certain points and focus directly on Alan's chair.
So he could be ripping into the bleedin lot of em but not make the edit

Everyone is saying that the edit made Scott look bad, and then Karen was so nasty. But why would Karen act like that?
It seems to me like he must have done or said something pretty awful to-"/around that was either off camera or edited out. To me I thought got he seemed a nasty prima Donna. In Manchester he was rude about the general public (on the escalators) and he clearly had real issues with Sam. I'm surprised that they didn't mentioned that on your fired when he totally blanked him after the firing. |

. Lots of snide remarks on his performance in a field he had zero experience with. I don't see what else.
The only comment I thought was genuinely harsh wa the one about not liking his braces. He had a point about that. But otehrwise, he couldnt take criticism, had essentially been told he would hve been fired if his team had lost, so clearly saw no futue in it for him. Fair enough, but I dont think Sugar was harsh or unfair in general |

So what was Scott meant to have got right in that task? It was Vana and Richard that saved the day.
Others also received heavy criticism. Joseph had the most to complain about , eg "still look like a plumber with a moustache like Super Mario". Could anybody have reasonably expected a client to be against braces? Surely the client should be more interested in what the potential customers like, and not their own personal likes and dislikes. Going over the footage again, by the time of the "chippy" comment, that was it. It looks like he was mulling things over after the attention had shifted to the other team. The criticisms of him were valid and correct. |

Scott seemed to struggle to take any criticism - although he was happy to dish it out to his team! I think he really struggled with the idea that he was considered worst on his team - but hello! On yesterday's task he really was worst.
He must has realised that on this type of show he was not going to sail through being the golden boy every week? With his type of attitude I could not see him doing well in the interviews that are usually much worse than anything Karren/Lord Sugar said yesterday. |

^^this
Not to mention on YF he seemed genuinely taken aback by the audience saying fired. He can't accept criticism at all. |

Good for him for having some self-respect. You have to completely sell yourself out to sit there in front of Sugar being berated like a 10 year old.
