Looking forward to the next CBB series

With the warm-up act, IAC, nearing an end, the main event is on its way. Hope they get the casting bang on and unearth some inspired signings such as a certain Lady C.

Channel 5 seriously need to pull out all the stops as CBB is virtually their only ratings puller. They need to ensure they advertise this series on a grander scale. Remember when there were adverts on ITV before the first series on C5?

Would like to see some effort and changes put into this series and more focus on the Live element of the show alongside a new outside staging layout please, it's been the same since the first series!

Hopes for this series? Are you looking forward to it?

Also, with Channel 5's new acquisition, Lip Sync Battle, launching alongside CBB in Jan, they're going to need to rely on CBB pulling in decent figures if it's stuffed between the eviction show and interview or BOTS.

They've bagged Mel B and Pro Green to present it, so they're pulling out all the stops within their budget and capabilities, so will want it to succeed.

January has always been the main event as far as BB or CBB have been concerned

The regular BB and summer CBB have been relegated to sideshows

One thing though, keep Lady C OUT of either CBB in 2016 as it's bad enough she ruined IAC with her behaviour and refusal to do certain trials

Can anyone really see her doing the childish tasks that the CBB team come up with if she does end up in a certain house

Back to the show, hopefully the supposed changes Mr Frow will make will be for the better and not make the show any worse

Would be nice to have the show talked about for the right reasons for a change, but given their obsession with making the show thoroughly negative.....

2015 was a bad year overall for BB everywhere

Price monster - What the hell did she do to merit winning, she barely did anything apart from talk about sex

Chloe - Another do nothing who did sweet FA to merit winning, but then again there was nobody worth rooting for in the regular series this year to be fair

James - Excuse me, but who? Did barely anything apart from having a bromance with Austin

2016 really has to hit the ground running, and big changes needed

Would it be too much to ask just to have them go in and not have them at each others throats from the off with a negative opening night twist and have them wound up further in the series with the usual who said what about who tasks

Diary Room needs to stay private, no more of this playing nominations or comments made about other housemates. Anything that is said in the Diary Room stays in the Diary Room and not broadcast just for the sake a few arguments

Outside contact needs to be limited to letters from home, none of this sending people in just to manufacture arguments

I'm all for a few arguments but just not arguments every other day to the point where they are on the verge of fighting physically

That being said, hopefully lessons will have been learnt after the Aisleyne and Farrah debacle from SOTS this year, and they will ease off with constantly poking the inmates with sticks for their own amusement and balance it out with those who love arguments and those who are fed up with constant bickering and keep both sides happy

As I have said in the other thread IAC pays better money gets bigger names .

I hope we move away from wasting money on unknown Americans leaving us with uk dregs but not convinced

I'd welcome an American free series. They've overpowered recent series, think it's time for a breather!

A few international (not necessarily American) celebs are fine but the bulk should be Brits. A few old showbiz lovies but mostly more varied types whose celebrity has been earned in other fields.

Looks like the American theme continues

Someone called Scott Disick who was involved with the kardashians , I done believe they would pay 660k for someone unknown.

The American owners of c5 are way off no one is interested in the kardashians in the uk

Wouldn't mind him tbh. I've been saying they should snap him up for ages on here.

I wonder if any of the Gogglebox lot will follow in George's footsteps and do CBB? Maybe Scarlett?

Would they risk being cut from Gogglebox though?

I don't want to be negative but I don't think Jans series will be anywhere near as successful as the last couple of the winter series. I think we should expect ~2m averages instead of the huge 3m+ for the previous two Jan series. CBB13 had Jim, Luisa, Lee, a great series and was lucky to have awful weather on our side, CBB15 had Hopkins and Price.

I can't think of anyone that could attract the amount of attention that CBB13 and CBB15 got.

I hope it gets decent figures. This could be the year which decides BB's fate.

I am excited actually. Januarys CBB is always so much better than Augusts CBB.

C5 pulling in some decent names already for LSB

It launches on the Friday, so maybe alongside a CBB Live show special?
