Does anyone know what name she went under when she was a model? Ive searched for pictures under her maiden name but can't find anything.

How long have you spent searching? Maybe try reading one of her books, which might have more info, if you're really that interested. You can even read extracts of some of them on Amazon. 
Well, keep looking - you might find something eventually. Her biog says she modelled in New York, but that would have been over 40 years ago - maybe that's why there's nothing online.

Twiggy was over 40 years ago and there are thousands of her. You'd think I would find one.

Twiggy was world famous as a model, though, and had her photo in all the magazines. For every model like Twiggy, there are thousands more who make a living on the catwalk, but don't get their photos in the top magazines.

If you look up some of the models who were famous at the time - say -Suzy Parker, Hope Lange, you might find mention of them there. Suzy Parker was, I daresay, the most famous of her time. You wouldn't have found her in Country Life
but she was a Vogue cover many times.

When you put in their names hundreds of pictures come up, I find it strange that she has no photos of her modelling days at all, even if she modelled pit boots you'd have thought there would be something.
Looks like she wasn't famous for her modelling then. Oh well, I guess that's why she switched to writing.
