How much of that was edited?

Did anyone get the feeling that a lot of the boardroom footage of Scott's resignation was kind of edited together? Obviously it's a bit of an unprecedented situation that the directors, camera crew, Lord Sugar etc weren't expecting so they might not have the right shots. It looked to me that some of Lord Sugar's responses may have been cut in at a later date, as the camera angles they were using didn't ring true to an actual discussion between himself and Scott. Certainly he took the news a lot better than I would have expected, I thought he would have spat the dummy at having control taken out of his own hands and thinking his time had been wasted.

Anyone with more experience in television than me who can give an opinion as to whether there was a lot of editing at work there?

Also, is this the first time someone has resigned? I'd have thought it far more common but can't remember any other cases.

Finally, I don't usually watch The Apprentice: You're Fired on BBC2, however I watched it last night due to the dramatic events of Scott's resignation. I was surprised to see Scott appearing on the show and not Selena. If anything I'd have expected it to be the other way round. Is this common for a contestant to not appear on this show? I'd have thought it would be fairly near to a contractual obligation for them to appear?

Alan's comments didn't seem as bad as they had reported to be, so I reckon they toned it down so he didn't look so bad.

I reckon what we saw is what happened. If not, Selina would have told us by now.

It will have been a tense situation but those reaction shots from candidates were blatantly edited in. Reaction shots are a powerful tool in TV.

And Selina's contract with YF was probably terminated when she started spouting controversial BS.

Well, the whole show is very heavily edited to the point in which you'll often notice jumps, even mid sentence.
