Some new fangled nonsense on BBC1. Might pass the time until The Telegoons and Jukebox Jury but I don't see it having appeal to a mass audience. I give it a year.

Coburn needs to go with these silly plots now. Wouldn't have happened with RTD.

What is this "BBC1" of which you speak?
Do you mean to say that there's going to be a BBC2?!

Spoiler
"BBC TV" didn't become BBC1 until the launch of BBC2 in April 1964, five months after the first transmission of DW!

Nah! It's genetically pure comedy.

In keeping with everyone posting speculation as spoilers, thought I'd give the game away and tell you all Za is going to kill Kal with a big rock smashing his head in the final episode!

Now you all know, hope that spoils the episode nicely for you all and ruins your enjoyment! Hope it helps!

Also, since Hartnell has just been cast, let's take our traditional look at when he will leave before his first episode actually airs. I personally give him three years......

Not only that he has a great haircut, what do you Hartnell Fangirls think?

Never mind that infantile rubbish. That Was the Week That Was is on later.

I hope they do a sketch about President Kennedy. It doesn't matter too much if they don't get around to Kennedy on the 23/11/63 edition, though. He'll be in office for years, so they'll have plenty of chances to lampoon him.

Anyone hear those Beatles lads are back on the radio again? Their new LP just came out like... yesterday.

He's too much of an old goat. You need to get someone young and handsome that the dolly birds can swoon over. I don't see it lasting five minutes.

Next thing you know, they'll be bringing in sci-fi talking dustbins. What a load of old tosh!

Completely irresponsible of the BBC to commission a television program which features a fake Police Box. This trivialises their importance to the general public, if we had more of these then that robbery on the train in the summer may never have happened.

Disgusted.

Missed it, that Kennedy geezer got shot and it was all over the news. Hope they repeat it!

That noise it made when the police box disappeared sounded just like a key being dragged along a piano wire and did you see that it was produced by a woman ! Whatever next ?

Well this sounds rubbish! Hopefully the BBC will see sense and destroy any episodes they make, so that future generations won't have to suffer this nonsense.

You will find people actively trying to save this stuff in years to come!

I'm not saying take your pick!
Part of the reason that people want to save them though is the kids are starting to love the show!

Take Your Pick? Now, that is a good programme. Real entertainment, none of that sci-fi time travel rubbish, which is far too complicated for me.

I doubt it. The whole enterprise sounds like a flash in the pan to me. An old man, two teachers and a YA on some kind of star trek?...it's formulaic, designed by committee guff that is trying desperately to satisfy everyone, but will ultimately be loathed by all. What next? Cartoon aliens bleeping and boosting? Or maybe a moon where knitted space anteaters drink soup and speak in hoots?
I can't see why they cancelled 'Zoo Quest' and hope they see sense and bring it back rather than continue with this tosh!
