No chance. This is the BBC, bastion of all that is decent and proper. There certainly wouldn't be anyone like that working there!

Anyone else getting a homosexual vibe from the Doctor and Ian's relationship? Hopefully that'll be knocked on the head and it'll be kept to the old guy and the dolly birds in future.

Wonder if there'll be an overarching theme across the series which gathers to a head by the conclusion?

All that noise and static, I thought my television was broken. I have no idea what is going on, but I bet we are going to find out more about what happened to Susan's parents soon. I hope it is not too late to get rid of the grandfather character, he is eery.

Maybe you should get one of those new-fangled 625-line sets... I hear that they're giving up 405-lines soon. You never know, we might get colour television by the end of the sixties. The yanks have it, but my cousin over there says it's useless - never twice the same colour!

Are you aware, sir, that you are addressing a grandmother? For some reason, you have chosen to address her as if she were a mere slip of a thing, by writing "pretty little" when you should have written "wise old". I don't know where you come from, but in this country we show proper respect for the elderly.

This current story is completely incomprehensible. When will we return to the school story? A good idea for an episode would be to have Dr Who give Susan and her talented young female classmates an impromptu P.E. lesson in which a number of humorous mishaps occur (I think Dr Who would like P.E.). I see the programme as in essence a spiritual successor to "Whack-O!", but with schoolgirls. Naughty schoolgirls. A great many naughty schoolgirls...

No, "pretty" is fine. Really, I don't mind. No need to mention "old" at all.

That Lee Harvey Oswald really had to sour the mood, such terrible news We've lost a shining light at the beginning of his future, he will be remembered dearly. My feelings go out to Jackie ......

One can only admire the courage with which she has continued to play Miss Wright.
