I like Joe Swash. But does anyone else feel it's a bit sad the way he's still doing I'm a celeb, a full 7yrs after he was on the show. There he is, still doing all the trials, which are usually the reserve of desperate celebs, wiling to humiliate themselves for a bit of face time on prime time tv.
Even people who work on the after show mainly see it as a stepping stone, they have quite a healthy turnover of presenters and in-house comedians. It's a bit like still hanging around school after you left, or showing up at the Christmas party of your old work.
I know it's probably a cushy job and all that, but the way he does every trial is a bit much. It's like that's the price he has to pay if he still wants a job. It reminds me of those people on The Word who'd say "I'd do anything to be on TV" before doing something disgusting to be on TV.
