I like Joe Swash. But does anyone else feel it's a bit sad the way he's still doing I'm a celeb, a full 7yrs after he was on the show. There he is, still doing all the trials, which are usually the reserve of desperate celebs, wiling to humiliate themselves for a bit of face time on prime time tv.

Even people who work on the after show mainly see it as a stepping stone, they have quite a healthy turnover of presenters and in-house comedians. It's a bit like still hanging around school after you left, or showing up at the Christmas party of your old work.

I know it's probably a cushy job and all that, but the way he does every trial is a bit much. It's like that's the price he has to pay if he still wants a job. It reminds me of those people on The Word who'd say "I'd do anything to be on TV" before doing something disgusting to be on TV.

I don't like Joe Swash, but I also think it's a bit sad the way he's still doing I'm a celeb, a full 7yrs after he was on the show.

I can't even stomach the companion show simply because he's on it. So, yes, I think it's sad for me that he's still on there a full 7 years later.

He's the reason i can't watch that show . He's just an attention seeking little creep with one of the most off putting voices on telly .

I am not a Joe fan, but it looks like a sweet deal to me. A job in a hot country, probably decent money, maybe he enjoys the challenges. It looks a fun way to make a living.

He's a ghastly yob who leers over all the girlies and murders the English language. Far from thinking he should have moved on I reckon he's lucky that ITV have taken a shine to him and given him permanent employment. The only good thing is that he seems to have stopped kissing men - unless he's doing it when I press the skip button.

In any event, 'Now' has turned into The Joe Swash Show and makes it, mostly, unwatchable.

I don't mind him, he's fine for what his role is, annoying sidekick that the others can make fun of.

I have to say David has grown on me, more than Rob ever did, I've actually laughed twice now at a joke he's done.

I think he's rather sweet and don't get all the hate for him.

Ant & Dec have been on even longer - what does that say about them?

I think Joe Swash is fine....and he's improved hugely to what he used to be....he used to snog every campmate that came out of the jungle, and it was just ridiculous.....

He's stopped all that now, and he's turned into a really good presenter himself....

In those 7 years he has learnt a huge amount and honed his presenting skills....I think he chooses to do the show now, and that when he leaves IAC, ITV will find him a presenting role somewhere...

He is actually one of the better presenters on ITV at the moment....he loves to muck around, he's reigned in the rubbish stuff....and I think he easily has a career at ITV if he wants it.

I could see him standing in for Paul O'Grady on his chat show if he ever comes back, and even having a teatime show himself at some point.

That's a resounding no

What happened was just after the 30th anniversary live episode, he asked the Exec producer DTC was there any chance of his character returning? The look on the face of DTC was priceless and the word no was uttered quicker than a bullet from a gun.

Surely with all the celebs that have done I'm a celeb over the years they could find a far better replacement .

True, especially when you think how far Caroline Flack has come since leaving the show. I thought Laura's accent may be a bit strong for ITV1 but it never stopped Lorraine Kelly.

I didn't mind him in the jungle but cannot stand him now. He irritates the heck out of me.

I reckon his days on the show are numbered as Vicky looks to be an ideal replacement for him or even add her to the show and let them comlete against each other in tasks and banter ...
