I haven't watched every episode of this series and just wondered, as a previous Celeb Masterchef contestant, has Tony cooked for his camp mates at all?

Something else to criticise him for if he hasn't, I wonder how long it will be before we run out of things?

Yes, one time when he was lying out in the sun, he seemed to be sizzling a bit.

I believe he did do some earlier on but the cooks are nominated by the camp leader.

He also got slated for not doing the bush tucker trials when he didn't get a say in who did them as well.

You're a bit touchy aren't you? If you don't like the topic of the thread then I'd suggest you find one you do like.

They don't have a tongue in cheek smiley on here otherwise I would use it., as for touchy you did pounce a bit quickly there.

Oh, thanks. I wonder why he hasn't been nominated then Perhaps he didn't like cooking on the open fire, I know I wouldn't.

Yes, this is something that has consistently annoyed me.

I'm not overly keen on Tony as a person but a lot of the things he gets criticized for have been beyond his control. How could he prove his worth in Bush Trucker trials when they were selected by the General Public and he wasn't picked. Since they started deciding themselves, he has put himself forward every day and not been selected for one reason or another. People were saying he did little round the camp, but he was the Leader (voted in by the GP) for the first few days and they aren"t allowed to do menial tasks themselves, just delegate and supervise so again, how could he 'prove' his worth. He has been more than willing to do the Dingle dollar challenges which are often quite physically strenuous, with no actual reward if they get the question wrong.

I am a bit surprised though, that someone interested enough in cooking to go onto Masterchef, hasn't done much cooking in camp.

Maybe they are worried he will eat all the food so they keep him away from doing the cooking, thought I would say it before someone else did, just to steal their thunder.

Well apparently he is fat, lazy and sexist so that will be the reason as far as some are concerned.

I would see it that he prefers the more manual tasks around camp.

True, but as mentioned, the leader decides who does the cooking and he just hasn't been selected for some reason. Given that Lady C was a bit of a back street Chef (sometimes because she had more experience with particular meats), the leaders have decided it wouldn't be worth the arguments that would probably follow if she tried to advise Tony when cooking. Or he has said something about that off screen, that if she were to start criticizing him he would just stop cooking and they didn't want to risk that.

I'm sure camp "politics" have got something to do with it. As A&D have had great fun with him being on Masterchef, I wonder if they'll ask him?

Possibly although when Brian was in there he seemed to be the one chosen to cook. Given their fairly basic ingredients I guess it doesn't require any great culinary skill to cook some meat and veg as long as they don't burn it.

And she was the one who said whoever was cooking should be left to do it with no interference from anyone else.
