Tony sitting on a log reeling off a list of what he wants to do next was embarrassing.

Dubbed over using a Haribo kids voice would have made it funny maybe.

A quick look at his web site exposes just how delusional he is.

Hope he goes today.

My wish is that Tony goes tonight.

As for Tony wanting to be a superstar, it isn't going to happen.

Good for him. Everyone dreams. At least he isn't wishing he was sitting at home doing nothing and collecting benefits.

He already has been, in the 1980s. Guess you weren't born then?

For me the delusion wasn't in the dream, but maybe in the impact he thinks this show will have on his future career.

It was sort of sad really, it felt like if you asked him at any point in his career where he saw himself in five years, that was always the answer (but this time with "turning into John Lydon" included).

Very few of us reach middle age without a list of things we would have like to have done in life, no matter how successful we've been in our chose career.

Tony wanting to do some acting or present a wildlife documentary is no more ridiculous than Ferne's aspiration to appear in "Downton Abbey" or George wanting to find a role in a soap.

Exactly but .....it's much more fun to have a dig at Tony it seems.

Because a lot of 80s bands and singers could, never underestimate how good they actually were. You'd be surprised how many could easily sell out arenas. I think there's an element of the kids the fans had are now grown, so off to a gig for a bit of nostalgia (I wouldn't go see Tony, but have been to see Aha and Depeche Mode a couple of times, and Duran are on my list).

Ferne in Downton Abbey, she'll struggle, it finishes at Christmas.

I always thought he was a poor man's Bryan Ferry. Aww thems were good times.

Looking back, after they did the whole tartan thing, it did start to look more and more like Ferry was a big influence.

I was pretty amazed all the younger campmates knew the words to True and sung along. 80's music must still be liked and influential. Can't see people singing along to one direction in 30 years time.

I wasn't a big fan of 80s music, it was the 60s for me. The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Dylan, the Kinks, Cream, oh the list is endless. We will never see the like of them again imo.

I've lost count of how many weddings I've been to where 'True' has been that couples 'our song' time has moved on, but the 80's classics are still loved by people who grew up in thar era.

I think it's good to have dreams and aspirations. He is ridiculed, but he's probably achieved more in life than some ever will. As long as he's happy who is he hurting?

The one band I really regret not getting to see live is Queen. I loved 80s music, it would be my young and teenage years, but music in general always wins for me, apart from Dylan who I personally find overrated I have all the bands you mention on my ipod.
