It's actually nice to hear that someone who appears to have already "made it" still has dreams and aspirations.

It's nice to see that Tony doesn't want to just sit around basking in his past glories - and he's already appeared in a film so he's actually working on that list!

I wish I had seen Queen too. and my all-time favourite, the fabulous Joe Cocker.

The best I ever saw was The Who. They were amazing.

I should credit (the lumpen and limited) Tony for irritating me to the point of bringing out the 'best' in me.

But thank you.

I saw Joe Cocker live. We had a brilliant club here where loads of up & coming bands played live. To list a few that I saw, T Rex, Fleetwood Mac, Free, Cream, Pink Floyd, Yes, Eric Clapton. Was only peanuts entry fee as well....bargain

Yes definitely. I think he'll be voted out tonight, so you're all going to have to find someone else to criticise.

Wont be necessary, he is the last one in there worthy of my criticism.

Thanks. There were loads more too. Calamity, if your husband looks up the Redcar Jazz Club he may find a list.

One member of our clan was Dave Coverdale who was just one of us at the time. He later went on to be the lead singer in Whitesnake.

Happy days

Some great artists and songs mentioned on here. I was born in the 70's but to listen to music from every era, I can never understand people who don't, they're missing out on some incredible music.
Apart from Bob Dylan! Great songwriter but leave the singing to someone else please Bob lol.

With regard to Ferne & her desire to appear in Downton Abbey, I've noticed that she seems to be playing more the part of a terribly nice but dim individual lately. I'm pretty certain that this is in large measure an act as, even though she's never appeared to be the sharpest pin in the box, she wasn't quite as slow on the uptake as she seems to be now, when she first entered the camp.”

Through The Barricades is definitely the best SB song. No matter what you think of Tony, I don't know how anyone can listen to that and say he can't sing.

I love the beach boys. Brian Wilson is the greatest musician songwriter imo. What a genius.
