It's quite right to use irony to defend this admirable human lard container with the voice that soothed the ears of so many deaf people. How dare you forget to mention the volume of air he takes up, just by the act of occupying space, & thus deprives the other campmates of yet more air to breathe.
Surely, this wantonly selfish act has only served to place others at even greater risk of asphyxiation? The thoughtlessness of the man knows no bounds.
Obviously the other campmates should consider a class action lawsuit for reckless endangerment?

Actually, scientifically, he displaces more air than more so adding to a localised compression of the air around him, meaning greater enrichment of the air for others. (Unless he farts and then that's an entirely different thing!)
