I was just interested to know if anyone is like me and do not like Ant and Dec 1 bit. I watch im a celeb for the contestants not to hear them thinking their funny and telling terrible suposed jokes. I cant stand them and wish they would be eliminated. they think they are bigger than the show and their blooming not. Find their accents irritating also. When they tell jokes i think roll on next VT& have what i call a Keith face on. (My face matches that of Kiosk Keith when Ant and Dec talk) and in real life i smile about the same as Keith. Like Keith Am I the only one who thinks this regarding Ant and Dec or not? think show should return with new presenters next year

Ant and Dec are the perfect presenters for this. I couldn't see the show being anywhere near as successful with different presenters.

They could have Tony and Duncan take over they are an excellent double act.

Ant seems to be going the route of the gormless foil in a double act, and for me that just doesn't work 🙁

I used to like them but they are now showing how biased they can be. Not a good look imo.

I have to agree. Their interviews are appallingly biased.

I think they've found a good match for their talents with this show. Not too demanding, reasonable script. I don't like them on anything else.

I think they make the show hugely entertaining with their links! Not everything works but there have been several that have made the wife and I laugh out loud. I don't like their interviewing as much to be honest but the links, all good for me!

I don't get the love for Ant & Dec

I find them neither funny nor entertaining. ITV seems to love em and shove this pair down our throats every chance they can.
They're jokes are old, boring, obvious and not even clever

I no longer watch BGT because of them & have never watched that other Saturday Show they host (can't even remember the name of it).

The bits that are scripted are good. They can't script the interviews so much, which is why they look a bit awkward.

This.
I agree they're not the best interviewers but their links still make me laugh. I think they're the reason the show has been successful for so long. Many other countries have tried it but it doesn't work.

The show dies without Ant and Dec.

Ant and Dec are working to a script.

There are three scriptwriters: Mark Busk-Cowley, Dawson Bros and Andrew Milligan, who are responsible for Ant and Dec's words. No doubt people higher up in the production hierarchy are responsible for deciding that those scripts and the way Ant and Dec perform them are what the program needs.

I think they're very good presenters; but it's feeling very forced and unfunny this year. They have a great chemistry with each other but there's no denying it's getting a little bit old. Maybe they need new scriptwriters? Also agree that the production bias has impacted on their likability this year.

Their interview with Chris; when he said he'd really enjoyed himself, they didn't know what to do with someone who'd gone off script.
