Keep seeing them scurrying around and eating but what is the point of having them there?
Was concerned that they were going to be used for food but I doubt (hope) ITV wouldn't stoop that low for controversy?

I expect that like many animals they will sound the alarm if a snake comes into the camp, thus alerting the dossers.
