At the beginning I thought they just wandered in. I wondered why no campmate seemed alarmed.

It gives the camp mates something to do I suppose.

In previous years someone would have cooked them up. Now that would have been interesting.

I expect that like many animals they will sound the alarm if a snake comes into the camp, thus alerting the dossers.
