If we're talking internationally recognisable it's got to be someone whose career takes them to the top of the World stage rather than just the UK, so, probably got to be Martina Navratilova, George Takei, Joe Bugner, Linford Christie or maybe Carol Thatcher (or at least she has the most famous connections). At a push, perhaps Nigel Benn or George Hamilton.

I was surprised George Hamilton did it, I know he's not exactly A-list but I didn't really consider him the sort of celeb that did reality tv. Probably because I am obsessed with Columbo and he starred in that back in the day.

Also on a personal level being a trekkie, George Takei, and probably Martina Navratilova for worldwide fame. I don't know why but sometimes I feel like the american celebs are more famous, probably because you don't often see them in their later career and you only remember them from their big show or whatever. So Antonio Fargas, Jimmy Osmond and Alfonso Ribeiro seemed more famous to me than they probably are.

George Takei is the one that stands out for me.
That was the name that immediately sprang to my mind.

I wonder if George Hamilton was more famous 'in his day' then when he went in. I'm not young, but i suspect the generations that followed me wouldn't know of his work necessarily. David Haye, while never reaching the same level of fame, perhaps, would have been more current when he went in. And biģger then a towie star.

Martina Navratilova. Even non-tennis fans would know who she was.

The only two real celebrities left in there this year are Georgi because she's an actress and Keiron. The rest are spawned off reality shows
