Well, it's just my opinion Mykey.

I honestly think she thought it was because of her and had it been anyone else he'd have done it. She took it as a personal slight.

Wearing a bell boys hat or chambermaids outfit is no more demeaning than being dressed up as a chicken or a flying squirrel? Would he have refused to look silly wearing something of that nature?

He thinks it's demeaning to wait on another person, yet I suspect he's quite happy to be waited on by those in the hotel right now.

That's hypocritical imo.

Yes you're right but she didn't actually start on him. The issue became heated when the clique starting getting defensive when the question was put to them.

I'd never heard of him before, so no disappointment from me. I was disappointed with Duncan though, he turned out to be a proper misery.

Therein lay the difference.

I think he's lying. He's hardly the brightest person and by digging his hole even deeper with snobbery instead of being honest he's shown himself to be even more dim. He probably thought he was protecting himself from any reaction about the truth back then, with his Mr. Nice Guy act and after he'd wrongfully accused her and Yvette of laziness. He hasn't the wit to understand just how many people he's insulting instead. Even his buddy Duncan said he should have done the task, when he was interviewed. Whoever manages him needs to have a serious word, if he could understand what he's done and is continuing to do or take anyone's advice, of course.

He's said serving anyone at all is beneath him more than once, including during his exit interview and denied it was anything to do with him having to serve Lady C every time.
Jorigie was up for it, she just did as she was told as usual.
