Was it possible that Tony could have won this
The last few days Tony has really been entertaining but it is just when Lady C has left the camp that he is starting to show what he was suppose to be like when he first came into the camp and im thinking that if was doing this from the start then he must have had a chance of winning this show

Perhaps if he did not take the Huff about doing what he was asked to do his chances would have improved but I doubt it.

No. Soon as the immortal lines "serving people isn't my style" left his bloated lips his fate was sealed

I think everyone would have had a better chance of winning without the spectre of Lady C looming over camp.
IAC don't need to lower the tone to that of BigBrother in order to create a good show, let's hope next year has a more upbeat feel like the last couple of days have had

Yes if Lady C hadn't been in the jungle but she stole most of the edit and shut him down so we didn't get to see much of him, like some of the others too. The show got too Big Brother like for me this year. Could have done without the Lady C casting. Big shame.
Think they should save these sort of controversial characters for Big Brother. No class, abusive, foul mouthed - Lady C would have fitted in very well in Big Brother. |

If Lady C hadn't been in the jungle, Tony still would have had no chance of winning - not with the likes of Vicky, Fearne, George etc still there.
In fact, he'd have possibly gone out slightly earlier. |

I think that the producers probably weren't aware of Lady C's problems and just expected her to be useful for the ' aristocracy' schtick. They need a better psychological screening process. Her behaviour put a downer on the series.

I've stuck up for him but no he didnt have the alphaness, he was shit at trials, wasn't the favorite in camp.
I actually think tony would have done the same plus or minus a place without lady C |

Of course he could have. The British public seem to like only men (3 women winners in 14 series?). And he's the kind of a blowhard male they seem to love.

No, he was never going to win imo. Apart from being lazy and sexist he is just too dull. Even Ant and Dec were taking the proverbial out of his "yeah, yeah, everyfings fine" attitude.

Well he certainly didn't seem that bothered when he was told he was leaving in fact he had a look of relief, he will now settle down into his all expenses paid luxury hotel stay so no he won't be bothered.

I do remember reading an interview with Lady C and she said that she might have some juicy secrets on the royals to tell. She did disclose that the Queen Mothers father was a French chef in one of her books! So I do think maybe that was what they were hoping.

I actually think the aggro he and Duncan was having with lady c was keeping them in and to a lot of viewers Tony and Duncan became pointless when she left . The timing suggests so as soon as she went they were the next two to go . It seems they were kept in to keep up the big blow outs

So it is plausible that she left for exactly that reason, she didn't want to win so left because she had an inkling that they would be next if she wasn't there, also that is why she also fudged the immunity challenge that her, Yvette and Susanna had to do.

Who knows but I can't think of much Tony and Duncan did apart from argue with lady c , when she walked I actually said to my other half them two would go next as the moment she went they became expendable

Too be honest they wasn't really given the chance, even though the camp became a pleasant and positive place, and to be honest neither of them went in their thinking they could win and they took leaving when they did with good grace, the only person who did look mildly shocked at leaving when he did was Brian as he thought he could win.

Not a chance. Even without Lady C giving him the opportunity for airtime, he would have still had to compete against the remaining campmates. I think any of them bar Jorgie could win so he would have had a fight on his hands.
Ignoring all the Lady C stuff, I just found his personality too saccharine sweet for me. Everything was wow, amazing or bloody good fun. |
