Kindle Fire (basic 35 quid model) - browser
Just playing with a Kindle Fire (seriously low-end model, and I'm fully aware it's mainly a vehicle for flogging Amazon services and products) and was curious about its browser capability.
It doesn't appear to have a browser by default, but the nearest I could get (tried Chrome, IE etc. in the app store) was Search Engine for Google.. Strange name, but it appears to work OK, but is there a simple browser available as an app without having to find stuff through Google? In other words, stick in a url and find the website I need? I have to be missing something.... Thanks |
