Just that really... does anyone know if there's a free clock/alarm download for the z3 Compact which is similar to the one which came as standard with the S4 Mini Samsung? The z3 one doesn't really do what I need...

Thanks.

Yeah, that's a fair point

I use the alarm mostly for ebay items that are ending. So when it says an item has 14 hours and 20 mins left, I'd go into the old clock on my Samsung, press the new alarm button, and there was up/down counter buttons for hours and minutes then you just hit save. On the Z3 one rather that counting up the hours/mins, you have hands on an analog clock, so you need to work out the time that the item is finishing then enter that time into the clock and give it a name... too many options.

It's just the way I like to do it. I thought someone on here might know, but i guess I can always download a bunch of free alarms until I find one that behaves like the old one then delete the rest.

Cheers.

Isn't there a countdown timer on the Sony? If not, there are plenty of timer apps on the Play Store, which seems easier than setting an actual alarm.

Doesn't the timer function do this (labeled 4) in the diagram at the top of the page here: http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/xpe...e/Alarm-clock/

Or just use Google Now ( say "OK Google" and then after the bleep say " Set an alarm for two hours"

If you have the eBay app it will notify you when a listing is about to end.
