Technically he is wrong blaming the public.

The public vote to keep their favourites in the competition - the public don't vote for who they want to see in the dance off.

Katie is too upright and looked like she was dancing a tango.

Really fed up of Anton. He's been in FOUR quarter finals before-- making this year his fifth. And been in one semi final before, making this year his second. He's also danced in December with Patsy, Laila and Ann. So this is his fourth time making it into December. The first series was broadcast in the summer.”

A lot of people who don't post or read here won't be aware of that statistic but will vote for him because he has been there from the start and also because they rate Katie as a dancer. Its as much about personal taste as anything else I'm afraid. We have lost many a good dancer over the years!

I was hoping that Georgia would give Jay a run for his money, too

I do think it is starting to look more and more likely that Jay will win this year.

Although I am sad that Helen has gone, I really applaud her for her touching speech on the balcony before she did the DO where she praised her friend, Georgia's routine and said she should progress through to the semi-final. No airs or graces; she just knew it was the correct decision.

They always do, no other couple sits like them, next week she will probably be sitting on his knee

Aww bless Helen. I've warmed more to her as weeks go on. Hopefully Katie will go next week. I like her but not as much as others.

I think the only one with a remote chance of beating Jay is Katie, because of Anton - and if the show made a big push for her (and against Jay)

You know celebs never read any comments about them do you? And even if what you say is true, it is no excuse for nasty comments.
And I feel a rather cliched phrase would be quite apt here - "money doesn't buy happiness" nor does it compensate for insulting messages that they receive.

Dear Craig and Bruno.

Telling someone who you scored second from last that they "shouldn't be here in the dance-off" is calling yourself an idiot.

Doubly so in Craig's case having said on ITT only a couple of days ago that "it's not just a dance contest"....

Oh and Craig. Giving reasons means giving *reasons*, not just saying they were both very good. That's 2 weeks you have ducked that now!

So are there four in the final? I really can't remember....

As a Georgia fan, I'm not surprised, but hugely relieved. Shame for Helen though, great dancer and a class act.

Craig is stupid and biased. I think he was gunning for Anita and very sad she didn't end up there.

Bruno to Georgia, for her being in the bottom 2, you are beautiful and you are .....What has beauty got to do with it?.

I have enough faith in Aliona's choreography and their great teamwork to believe that we will have ALL the Jay knockers eating their words next week.

I think if Georgia had gone out it would have been Pixiegate mark II. Celeb is in a safe looking spot on the leader board, everyone thinks she will go through to the final and be a challenger, nobody votes for her.

Well except for Katie not having a massive wobble at the end nor a big out of time kick at the start. A better question might be why she was only 1 mark down...

Oh and there isn't actually any requirement to have anything to do with the musical beyond the music and the costume. The marks are for the dancing, not for replicating or reselling the show.

Totally agree with you. His open bias this year is really pissing me off.

Don't think it's fair to say the other four are miles ahead, Anita certainly isn't and personally though I haven't really enjoyed their dances all that much all round Kellie I think is the best left. The dancing now is less than half of the story.

Can't agree with anything in the first paragraph. Helen was unbalanced to the point of almost falling over in that Paso, of the two I thought Katie's foxtrot was danced the better, Len even admitting that he was going to overlook Georgia's lack of heel leads, which she seemed to have changed a bit in the dance off.

Katie has had two dodgy Latins and a QS that didn't quite come off, a good jive and a good Rumba, Helen's Latin dances have been just as dodgy and she got away with the Charleston in Blackpool where she again almost fell over at one point.

I think Helen is a wonderful dancer and I'm sorry to see her go, but I'd be sorry to see any of them go at this point.

I will be happy if Anita or Jay or Katie( because of Anton) win.
I think Jay deserves to win on merit. It is very hard for a male celebrity to lead and dance. Easier for a female to be lead and placed by her pro.

Totally agree Sarah. People too often forget that it's harder for the male celeb as he must lead

I'm sure the flouncing would've been equally as stroppy.

The surprising thing to me with Georgia being there was that she must've got the least votes of the 5 left - even less than Kellie.
If she'd got more votes than Jay she'd have avoided the dance-off.
If she's got more votes than Kellie, she'd have avoided the dance-off.
If she's got more votes than Katie, she'd have avoided the dance-off.
Anita jumped at least 3 positions over her.

Why do I have a feeling Kellie and Georgia will be getting high scores next week?

I agree about the two KKs. I have no idea why some members here continuously criticise them. I love them and I was thrilled when they got through

Oh I am sure there will be a lot of manipulative voting by the judges next week. Unfortunately for them and as seen this week, the public are wise to it now.

Anita is clearly a worse dancer than Katie.

Absolutely not. Anita's lowest score is 27 but Katie's lowest score is 20, she's got 21 twice and 26 twice.

If you averaged all the marks for all their dances, you'll find that Anita's average is nearly 3 points higher. She's also got a 10 which Katie hasn't and probably will never get.

Katie has been very lucky to last as long as she has tbh. Both Helen and Peter are better dancers than her...in fact, Helen is miles better than her.

Katie's great at Ballroom but generally very weak in Latin. Fortunately for her, she got most of her worst dances out of the way earlier on and been very fortunate with the dances she's got in the last few weeks.

I think Katie has a Latin dance next week which will likely be a car crash.

I'd be surprised if she reached the final and it certainly wouldn't be on merit.

Katie's got a Charleston rather than a Samba next week, she'll probably be fine with that
