I know I'm a celeb is on after the watershed most of the time, but I generally think of it as a family show, the sex talk/penis size talk and the "adult" dingo dollar questions is all a bit cringey and unnecessary.

what do you think?

I think they (the show) are trying to be funny. They're trying to get an innuendo-fueled banter atmosphere in camp to have something to show on highlights. Vicky and Kieron in particular seem to love it. Unfortunately, it's bringing out Kierons' dressing room banter' side which is making me go off him. I find it embarrassing to watch.

Not necessary at all.
Have we had this sort of 'chatter' before, or is it a " Geordie " influence ?
How embarrassing if watching with elderly relatives!! On these occasions I never know where to look.

I think of IAC as an adult show, I certainly wouldn't allow children to watch!

I find it puzzling that children would be allowed watch this show

Children love the show going by my circle of friends family etc. There's always questions about cheating, in other series too. It's just a bit grim.

I know lots of kids who love the show. I think lots watch it on catch up - I agree it is usually more 'wholesome family viewing' - a tad smutty this year.

I blame Jorgie the little minx. She sure wants to put it out there what a sex kitten she is doesn't she?

I expect there is the same amount of Sex talk ever year in the Camp it just appears imo that they have edited more in this year for whatever reason. IMO the show is getting more like BB which is a shame although I like BB.

I really would prefer not to see it on the show. I found it uncomfortable to watch with my daughter.

It is rather cringeworthy.

This is exactly what my husband said about Kieron, it was all a bit sleazy when he was questioning the two girls.

not talking about young children as such but, mid to late teens would watch the show and just generally people watch with their parents/grandparents/family, not expecting the "adult" content

All that talk about having a small penis you'd think by now someone would have invented a pill to shrink vaginas instead.

It's not adult channel either -it's main stream TV.

But as others have said what you have got left now there is not much more to say.

Did I say she was a kid?

She's over 18, so has as much right to watch it as you or I do.

I found it uncomfortable.

Okay?

Thanks for your post!

I felt quite judged by the person who responded to my post.

My daughter is actually 22. And I still don't want to watch this sort of thing with her!

And you are quite right. It's really not what I expected to see on this show.

I was cringing watching it and most parents and their children no matter what age don't wanna sit with each other and listen to that sort of chat! it is inappropriate and a bit embarrassing

I don't remember the show being as strong in previous years as it has been this year with the sex/penis chat and sexual innuendo etc

I agree. It's embarrassing! I have three daughters, one of 22 and two of 23. I don't want to watch that with them! It's I'm A Celebrity! I want to be entertained, not embarrassed!
