I hope they cut smut next year, cause its not what the show is about. it was trashy tv, what you would expect of itv2 or channel 5

Are you having a laugh?

When you get any group of people together 24/7 over the space of 2/3 weeks it is inevitable there will be some talk or banter about sex. Why shouldn't they show it? Over the series it probably equates to less than 5% of the footage aired.

The show was on after the watershed. Yes it would be a bit cringe if I was watching it with my parents but it's hardly as if they are having a gang bang!

I feel like I've stepped in to the mumsnet forum or a Parents Television Council conference!

I agree with you............FGS it's hardly porn, I can't believe some people would be offended by this. I personally found it light hearted banter. Maybe people need to switch off their TV's permanently just on the off chance they may be offended!

It's not a kids show we have a watershed for a reason,

I don't think ITV can be held responsible for adults feeling embarrassed while watching with other adults

The show has certainly gone up on the smut, innuendo and double meanings scale this series ..
The way things are heading they will be able to dump Ant and Dec and draft in a couple of replacements ...

How about Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to present the main show?
The follow up on ITV2 could be hosted by Keith Lemon ..

That should certainly send the smutfest ratings soaring off the scale ..!!

Everyone knows it's after the watershed and there will be some adult talk but it was on the whole a programme the family could watch together before and I'm not meaning with young children. However there seems to have been a shift this year to a more smutty side and it's this that I think people are commenting about. It's not about being prudish or whatnot it's about taking a perfectly good enjoyable programme and making it more trashy to supposedly appeal to the Geordie Shore and BB type audience. Those programmes are OK for those that want to watch them and I've watched Bb for years but there's a lot of truth in the saying " if it ain't broke don't fix it" IMAC was a popular programme and didn't need to go this way.

I find it strange that people find it uncomfortable to hear a group of adults discussing sex and penis', but its all in the name of entertainment when we watch them chowing down on crocodile penis/ camel balls/ kangaroo anus?!

If it were Strictly or Bake-Off, I['d understand, but this is I'm a Celebrity not exactly high-brow, is it? Since series 1, the show has had its moments of innuendo and adult topics. It's not exactly hardcore nudity, and they still censor swearing (I believe).

This, also at the beginning of each episodes there is a warning of language etc.
