Yes something people probably don't realise is that she took her A levels and even got a degree albeit in Drama or something like that. You could tell on Geordie Shore that she was actually quite clever which is possibly why I warmed to her but she also had layers, was quite dark and sullen and irritable at times which I also liked.

She is just too nicey nicey for me on here but I have no idea how actually true to her character that may be as drink played a big part in her time on Geordie Shore and drink can have a big effect on a person.

However people somehow suggesting that she's fake because she isn't the drunken caricature that she has been seen as in the the past is frankly absurd.”

In vino veritas. I think the kind of drunk a person makes is often a very good indicator of their true nature; sadly. Me, I tell everyone how beautiful they are and how much I love them (insecurity, neediness), I sing A LOT - which I never do when sober (insecurity again) and I am very, very funny (at least that's what my friends tell me). I've never, ever hit anyone and I once vomited when I inadvertently witnessed a very nasty fight while I was drunk. Violence turns my stomach; drunk or sober.

I find it beyond depressing that that's supposed to be impressive. Pretty much everyone in Ireland does the Leaving Cert (the equivalent of A levels) and most decent schools have a hit rate of between 70% and 100% who gone onto third level education. Going to college shouldn't really be remarkable in this day in age.

Having said that, she's clearly not stupid; just very disingenuous and annoying for me.

Her exaggerated Geordie accent is becoming boring. So the answer to the OP question is no, she is not being herself.

It's not exaggerated at all. In fact she's being rather posh at times for a Geordie which surprised me,

Exactly her Geordie accent is greatly exaggerated.

Sorry but, to me, it is exaggerated, like for example, John Bishop's scouse accent.

Yes I feel the same ,Like you i'd never seen her before this or Ferne for that matter as I've never watched GS or Towie ,but they both seem ok on this ,though I do prefer Vikki a little more than Ferne

I have to admit I've only lived in the NE for 67years and she "puts on" a "posh" accent very occasionally.. Most of the time she is her native Geordie.
I don't understand why it's a problem.

So getting A levels and a degree isn't impressive because many more young people do so nowadays Do you not think it's a sign of intelligence either? After all I was only suggesting that she is more clever than people are giving her credit for and I used her academic achievements to prove that and I never said that it was remarkable.

She knows how to act in front of the camera's.
So no, she's not being her total self.

By mentioning it, by definition, you think it's remarkable.

Look, my point was that over 70% of Irish people attend third level education (having completed 'A level' standard) and 51% of Irish people have a third level qualification; and it shouldn't be considered a mark of anything special. It should be expected, IMO, these days, that people with the ability to do so, get a third level qualification. It should be par for the course. It really, really shouldn't be a big deal.

I neither agree or disagree in that I've not really given it much thought. My point was to put forward that Vicky is more intelligent than people may or seem to think. That was all.

She must have missed the bit where they taught that actual 'sex' on TV was not what is required for an Oscar.
