1. Jay and Aliona - stunning Rhumba in its storytelling, lines, emotion and quietness - deserves to be top of the leader board.

2. Gleb needs to concentrate on training Anita proper technique - she is capable of learning it - her performance skills are fantastic but footwork needs work.

3. Kellie was great tonight - Song and routine suited her.

4. Georgia looked really pretty and it was a lovely well danced routine - the extra dancers did not help her at all.

5. Helens song did not suit the Paso - great production by Aliajz though

Cheeky 6 - I wish the cameras would show the dance as a whole as viewer does not always see the footwork

No, they have been leaving adding two dances for the semi for a few years now, sadly.

1. Aliona keeps showing me that it is possible to marry a traditional dance with a modern music.

2. I thought shorts would work better with Gleb's outfit.

3. My favourites were Georgia and Giovanni, but then Jay and Aliona came.

4. Anton irritates me. I think I heard it all first hundred times.

5. Craig must use his 10 paddle for other purposes, he clearly didn't have it with him tonight.

1. Great show.
2. Poor Anita. She performed amazingly and I loved their dance but it wasn't an AT.
3. Gleb
4. Claudia with a chocolate thief face.
5. Katie was amazing.

1. Georgia was probably great but all I could see was the ridiculous teapot.

2. Didn't like rhumba's before tonight. Still don't like them. Hated Aliona's outfit and Jay looked a really odd shape in those stretchy jeans

3. Kellie looked pretty and didn't have the worst outfit (see no.2)

4. I loved Katie and Anton's foxtrot once they actually started foxtrotting.

5. I don't want any of them to go! Can we not have a 6 person final?

1) Themes / props / extra dancers getting in way
2) Super lift and landing by Anita unmentioned
3) Helen will be bottom two as she made the most noticeable mistakes
4) The judges know Jay is dominating the public vote and are falling in line
5) This isn't a vintage year for Strictly

It's not just a cliche. Rhumba is a hard dance for male celebs to get right. Tends to either look mincing or not enough. Thought Jay got it spot on.

Liked Kellie for the first time. Suited her.

Loved G and G but spoil by teapots etc.

That number from Chicago one of my all time favourites. The singers did well. Had to then go and watch the film ......again. Didn't think Anita did badly. Legs were a bit off at times but good attitude.

Enjoyed Anton and Katie. Hope they get through.

1/ Loved the teapot, no idea what G&G were doing as I watched it throughout the dance
2/ Kellie was great and finally in a good dress.
3/ Craig was spot on with Anita's score. It was not good.
4/ Kellie's son is gorgeous!!!!!
5/ Was so pleased the backing dancer picked the red fabric up off the floor. Helen's paso was already going badly and didn't want to see her slip on it and face plant the floor. I love her but that dance was awful

1: I hate a theme week this late. At this stage it should be about the dancing. What they should have for the QF is stripped back week. Two dancers, plain lighting and music. Nothing else. No props, no smoke machines, no light projections no backing dancers. Judge them on their dancing.

2: Talking of which- Jay & Aliona- Just wow! A moment of gorgeous stillness, just Jay & Aliona dancing beautifully and shows you don't need all the props and production to produce a wow dance.

3: Felt Katie won the battle of the Foxtrots, just a bit smoother, faster and better presented overall.

4: Loved Kellie's and quite enjoyed not seeing a sweeping romantic VW. Could have been a smidge more in hold, but my second fave of the night

5: Helen and Anita- just not a good night for them. Helen just because the dance didn't suit her, and Anita because Gleb still hasn't taught her the simplest of basic technique. I loved her characterisation and quite liked her solo bit with the dancers, but the dance would have looked infinitely better with her toes pointed.

1. Worst show of the series so far and I hate backing dancers, especially when they're dressed as giant teapots. Completely pointless and distracting and I don't think there was one dance that was improved by having them there.

2. Helen's paso was odd, but I think Aljaz probably made the best of a bad song and a dance that didn't really suit her. Her faces are . While they keep picking people up on not acting enough, I wish they would also tell people at the other end of the spectrum to tone it down a bit.

3. Anita was awful and actually seems to be getting worse if anything. Her legs and feet were terrible. I think Craig was spot on with the 6 and she really deserves to go tonight.

4. Enjoyed Kellie's dance and it was probably the best 'look' she's had so far. Also enjoyed Katie's foxtrot - it felt much more dynamic than Georgia's which was nice but a bit dull.

5. Enjoyed Jay's rumba, and it improved on second viewing, but I didn't love it because of Jay's outfit. Aliona looked lovely but it could have been great done in normal rumba costumes.

1. Best male rumba ever.
2. Finally the judges comment on Anita's awful feet
3. Feel between Blackpool & everything else there is an overkill on themed weeks.
4. Kellie & Kevin, great routine
5. Marks were pretty fair all round.

1) The backing/extra dancers did not aid the majority of the dances and just distracted from the people we were meant to be watching.

2) Wish Tess would stop talking over the judges when they're giving their opinion - she's like a flipping heckler!!

3) Overall an unmemorable evening of dances - I recall the songs better than the dances - not a strong week - but when are 'theme' weeks ever that strong

4) Fed up of the constant reminding that Anita has never danced before (and I like Anita - but badgering for votes because of it gets on my nerves and can make me less inclined to vote for them) and don't get me started on the whole Anton has never been in a final before bit or danced in December before when he has even if it was a while ago!

5) I'm trying to end with a positive but I don't think there is one - it was a poor quarter-final!

1) Flat night. Dislike themed weeks and the inane music choices you end up with.

2) Bored of the Pwincess Georgia routine. I know they want to play on her youth and beauty but I'd love to see her do something a bit more sophisticated and a bit less saccharine. I was getting excited about her during her Charleston/Samba weeks, but it's fading.

3) Liked Kellie's dance for the first time ever. Think she was in her absolute element. Craig could do a better job of disguising how much he adores her though.

4) Underwhelmed by Jay - still my favourite rumba of the series. Though that's saying very little. Wish they'd bin it.

5) Wanted more A/T content from Anita and Gleb. But musicals week + a song that is a ballroom tango-burlesque number, wasn't going to happen. There must be a vaguely authentic Argentine Tango track in a musical somewhere.

1. Wonderful Rumba - so chuffed for Jay. Aliona best female choreographer by a mile.
2. Anita let down again by Gleb - when will he ever correct her footwork ?
3. Helen still as stiff as a board - messy routine and poor music.
4. Kellie & Kevin did a great routine.
5. Georgia could have done without the backing dancers in the way.

1) Nothing really impressed me this week.
2) I enjoyed Anita's & Gleb performance in the American Tango. I was shocked how badly the judges received it yet it got the loudest applause of anyone from the audience.
3) I thought Jay and Aliona were way overmarked. There was very little dance content from Jay - just carefully placed steps, slow movement and posture. I just didn't get any emotion from his performance.
4) Fairly difficult to rank the performances - so had to watch the performances again to solidify my ranking.
5) Found Helen messy and wobbly, Katie tended to lose posture in hold, and Kellie a bit underwhelming.

The teapot was rather commanding. Is the Strictly tour sponsored by twinings? There's usually just Anton wanting a cup of tea. This year we've had teapots and teabagging.

Agree with all of that

1. I got completely swept up in Jay and Aliona's Rumba. I usually hate the Rumba but I loved this.
2. Georgia was done a huge disservice by production. That teapot was hilarious but totally unnecessary. I also much prefer dynamic jazzy Georgia to sugary Disney princess Georgia
3. I agreed with the criticism of Anita's dancing, though I think Craig has just galvanised her fans more than anything.
4. I still can't get Oom Pah Pah out of my head. Don't know if it really qualified as a VW, but I enjoyed seeing Kellie having the time of her life.
5. Anya!

1 Who on earth came up with the idea that people dressed as teapots prancing round the edge of the dancefloor would add to Georgia and Giovannis romantic foxtrot? Are these people qualified in creative production?

2 Who on earth watched the rehearsals and STILL believed these teapots added to the dance. Did NO ONE notice that they were useless, an unecessary distraction, took away from the dance and blocked the judges view? You don't have to be 'qualified' ...a pair of eyes would be enough! Absolutely ridiculous and I hope the powers at be are at least aware of it now.

3 Baffled as to why Craig gave Anita a 6. Obviously thats going to get thousands more votes in for Anita, so does he secretly want Anita to get through? Or is he really so unaware, that despite being in the show for years, he hasn't realised how it works?

4 Loved G & G's dance...emotive storytelling, great dancing and performance, magical. (I appreciate I'm biased)

5 Not a Kellie fan, but she is solid - almost guranteed to pull a performance out of bag, regardless of what she gets.

1. Jay was designer scruffy, OK if it’s in keeping with the original character.
2. Bottom two, Helen and probably Anita, no matter how many public votes she gets the maths will make it difficult for her to escape the DO. Helen to win the dance off, but a good dance from Anita could swing it. However, I can’t see the judges putting Anita through without good reason after the Peter/Jamelia fiasco.
3. Want Anita in the final, she and Gleb are my favourite couple but if Anita goes we won’t see Gleb’s show dance.
4. Jay’s technically good but a bit boring; this could cost him the final.
5. Show a bit flat, no wow dances.

1. I'm sure that Georgia's dance was lovely but what with teapots and that enormous chandelier I didn't see much of the dance.

2. Jeans and a checked shirt were far to distracting for a rumba and I couldn't get into Jay's dance because of that

3. I disliked Kellie's dance, not enough in hold and what is it with Kevin's table obsession?

4. Totally let down by Anita's AT, shocking legs and feet, not helped by Gleb's choreography (which I usually love)

5. All in all the whole show was just a little bit 'meh', a disappointing quarter final

1/ Loved Anita's AT. Technically great? No. Entertaining? Absolutely. And it had one thing an AT definitely requires - passion There was real electricity between Anita and Gleb at the end of that performance.
2/ Georgia danced the best technically on the night for me. Just gorgeous.
3/ Found both Jay and Katie a bit "beige". Although there were moments of Jay's rumba where I thought "Ooh, I like that!", but they were intermittent. I have liked him more the last two weeks though. Anton's choreography was very "safe" and I was very underwhelmed with their FT.
4/ Can't believe Helen went last. She has certainly had great running orders throughout the show (and I'm a fan!).
5/ Can't decide whether I loved or hated Kellie's VW. My first reaction was that it was way too brash for my liking (I much prefer the more traditional take on it, like Helen's last week) but for some reason I want to watch it again I think it might just become my guilty pleasure of this series

1. Thought Katie was undermarked. Maybe deserved one 10.
2. Georgia's foxtrot was boring but she could have got some 10s.
3. Helen's paso was messy and distracting. She didn't dance it very well and her face????
4. Anita's AT was an enjoyable spectacle but she wasn't very good. Marking about right.
5. Jay's rumba was boring but he danced it brilliantly. Deserved 40.

Kellie and Kevin danced an entertaining routine. Seemed more like an AS though.

The best female choreographer by a country mile, she has been since she started on the series.

Spot on BMLisa, the only dance without any extras was the dance of the night right up there with the best rumba's. I was totally distracted by the stupid crockery dancers for Georgia's foxtrot and the extra dancers in Helen's Paso ruined it, you couldn't see Helen and Alijaz dancing because there was so many other distractions.
