Helen undermarked - watching it with my mouth open in awe and wondered if would get 40, then she's second from bottom... what!? 
Georgia probably deserved at least one 10 paddle in relation to some of the cack that gets 10s!
Jay probably overmarked - I guess its a taste thing but I didn't 'get' it, and normally I love his dances.
Anita was overmarked as well IMO but she ended up bottom so that doesn't especially matter.

Helen was not undermarked. Hers was spot on. She has balance issues she needs to sort. I did like it though but my god those backing dancers were such an annoying distraction.
Anita getting a 9 was outrageous. I'm sorry, I do like Anita, but she has to go. She is miles behind the others, especially Jay and Georgia.
Jay's rumba was full of rumba content unlike the other rumbas we've seen this series. His arms and their fluidity were perfection. If you say it was overmarked please tell me where he could have improved?

If it was perfect where was the hip action, let's remember how critical the judges were for Anita for the same reason last week. Yet one week on it suddenly doesn't matter. I like Jay you understand but the inconsistency of the judging is becoming really tiresome now.

People tend to forget how difficult it is for the male. All the other dances tonight were led by the men.

Anita is not miles behind the others. She has been unlucky with the fact that she has had two awkward dances for two weeks running. I would say she is certainly better than Katie.

I thought Craig said that there was plenty of hip action.
No one was under marked. On the basis that other rumbas have been marked savagely for lack of basic rumba content, I thought Jay was overmarked. It was a very well executed contemporary dance with a vague rumba theme but the flak meted out to Giovanni and Gleb as choreographers for their rumbas should have been echoed tonight if we are going to be consistent. I still wasn't overly convinced by Jay's performance skills either. That said, on ability he deserves to go through so it probably doesn't matter - it's just distracting when there is no consistency in judging criteria.
I thought Jay was overmarked, but perhaps given the difficulty of the Rumba for male celebs, he probably deserved it.
Anita was undermarked in my opinion, but it wasn't the greatest week for anyone.

Helen got 9s and her hips were stiff as a board in her rumba, Jay had fluid hips and the hip action was there, obviously there. Better than nearly every rumba I've watched.
Anita had an illegal lift so she was being marked out of 36 not 40.

Over - Jay slightly (thought it was more a 37 dance than 39 - but still great)
Can't tell if Georgia was under marked or Kellie was slightly over marked. Thought Georgia should have maybe got 2 points more overall than Kellie.
All of the others were about right. Anita's 9 was ludicrous but Craig's 6 balanced it out nicely.

I think some of he marking this week was fair actually and the critiques and scores mirrored eachother well.

I'm sorry but she is. With Katie ever so slightly ahead of her. I have said it since her jive, which was good, but it wasn't done in heels. That, to me, as a dancer, is a clear indicator that the technique is missing.
You can't say she's had two awkward dances... an AT and a rumba which couples do every single week?
I do really like Anita and I want her to do well but coming from a technical perspective it just was not good. Gleb absolutely ruins her too by showing off all the time.
And to those saying Jay had no hip action... I don't know what you're talking about. I think you guys may be comparing it to female hip action, which is 10 times more full on. Males have to use their core and connect with the floor to get the hip action, which Jay did. He caressed the floor and used his hips to go on into the next move. Hip action was there, so if you're going to criticize him on something it can't be that because it's quite obvious (to me as a dancer) that it's there.
