Helen: i ageree re balance issues which was apparent at the end but i think she was comparatively undermarked irrespective of that
Anita: agreed
Jay: i found his acting/connection with Aliona totally unconvincing from the start and irrespective of the dance steps themselves it influences my opinion.
Georgia: was good but not worth 10
Katie: katie is my favourite but marks and position on the leaderboard were about right
Kellie: agree so think she should have been above georgia

Am getting a good idea of (non) dance background of people thinking Anita was undermarked.
She did moves with bent legs when they should have been straight, and her foot was turned in so far it looked like a monkey.
I was laughing when she did this. I knew the judges wouldn't be fooled, but half of DS would be.
So bizarre that Len was taken in- you don't even need to know AT to know that those shapes are wrong, general form nous should tell you

Tonight was a disgrace, she was as good as the leader if not better. Jay (who I think is a good dancer), was poor tonight). It's times like this they could well lose viewers.
Tonight there was another incidence of a difference o,f 33 1/3rd between the highest and lowest marks for one competitor, i.e 6 and 9.

Agree with both points. I think Anita's lack of technique was a bit embarrassing at this stage.

I will happily admit it wasn't Helen's best dance, but if she goes out to Kellie's Viennese that had less Viennese in it than Georgia's American Smooth Viennese I will be SO angry.
I loved Helen's. I did see her lose her balance a few times but I still loved it. I think her personality lets her down a bit. Some weeks she seems fun and a good laugh, and some weeks she seems cold and stiff. I think she gets undermarked. Other people make mistakes and get 9s/10s.
I loved Georgia's, personally.
Jay danced well but I find it hard to warm to someone who shows no emotion or personality, no matter how good he is. The rumba is supposed to be romantic. It felt anything but romantic. I don't think it deserved 10s because the emotion wasn't there.

I usually like Jay. I don't think he was great. I was watching Aliona. Couldn keep my eyes off her she makes him look better than he is IMO.

Considering all the girls had big, huge musical production numbers with backing dancerss and stufff...I thought the rest of the voting was about right. Would have settled for four 9's for jay...but hey, the others have had confetti tens before!
