That was in no way an AT, it was a Tango with badly executed embellishments and did I see a knee slide, jeez .

I like Anita, but she has not been trained well by Gleb and it has taken till now for Craig to comment on her bad feet, they should have been fixed by now.

i dislike gleb immensely, and agree he has wasted his time pandering to his own reflection... however i think anita does well with what she's given and what she has to put up with.

To be fair, at least there were no Morris Dancing foot slaps.
In the annals of bad SCD ATs, I'd put it in the bottom third

It was very evident from how Gleb danced tonight that he doesn't really know anything about the dance. How could poor Anita do any better? It was just awful, choreography, execution, the lot. I think even Tina O'Brien's was more authentic.

I did feel for Anita having the judges pull her up on her bad feet tonight. Had they critiqued it ages ago, she likely would have dealt with it by now.

Well, it was the worst (and best) Argentine Tango this week.

The judges have commented before and Anita and Gleb seemed aware of it and were saying they've been working on it. But I imagine it's difficult to correct altogether in the space of 10 weeks - especially when there's so much else to learn on top.

I wonder if they had specialist help with the choreography? To be honest, when I read what music they were dancing to I immediately thought it was better suited to a Ballroom Tango.

I'd say Susanna & Kevin's was worse.

Perhaps, you could tell us what the required elements of the Argentine Tango are.

I loved it too. I don't take notice of what the judges say.

Thought it was a really enjoyable dance - not getting the hyperbole over it being 'the worst evah.' I mean seriously?

Go back and watch Colin & Kristina's again.

I have some sympathy with Anita, being landed in it by both Gleb's attitude and choreography throughout.

I must admit I was lifted by the hope that at the quarter final stage, stumbles, poor balance, awkward lines and general poor technique would be pulled up on all the contestants. IMO Jay, Helen and Katie all more or less escaped unscathed, and it was extraordinary that head judge Len awarded 5 9s and a 10. Nonsensical

Was it actually choreographed by Gleb though? I understood Mina and Giraldo were choreographing all the AT's this season - certainly they did Alionas and Antons for them. If Gleb turned down their help then he is a bigger egoist than even I thought, if on the other hand that was their work, it suggests Anita isn't capable of mastering sufficient technique to have a stab at AT and they too had to go with show dance pastiche.

it wasn't the worst ever but definitely down the end of the list...

She made two howlers almost straight away...but yet again Gleb has to take the attention.

I agree Gleb let Anita down with the choreography - also that song is more suited to a Tango than AT - they should have skipped AT this week

I've really enjoyed Anita's attitude and commitment all thru this series, but I must admit, that wasn't my cup of tea at all.

True, the music is ballroom tango not AT, but that still doesn't excuse the shoddy technique.

I dont notice things like that as I an not a dancer . I loved it and loved the drama . Its a matter of taste and what we enjoy

Maybe Anita lacks basic flexibility as well as dance nous. No point in some of the basic moves with bent legs. How could you miss that in training, she was not even close to the correct extension. Why persist in it with the wrong form without changing the routine?
